>> that's right. the islamic faith say that the deceased must be buried within 24 hours of their death. obviously the remains of the passengers of all the passengers including the malaysian passengers remain for the most part untouched. i was speaking to a cousin, a family of six who all died in that crash. a malaysian family, i spoke to a family at the airport and she was still saying to me she was hoping for a miracle of miracles. she also said that i can't look beyond holding out hope for my family. i'm not blaming anyone at the moment. i-eem not looking for justice to be served. i just want to find out what has happened to my family. you do hear that a lot here. there is not anger at the moment. there is a sense of frustration.

our top story this morning. ukrainian government search and rescue workers have now found 196 bodies at the crash site of flight mh-17. the government says the search is being hindered by armed separatists on site. the u.s. and ukraine say it was a russian made surface to air missile. international observers are complaining that ak sesds to the crash site is very limited. they say the area is under strict control. talked with a spokesman for the organization. michael and erin asked him about

their progress. >> time is really moving quickly. >> do you know anything more about the black boxes? ukrainian officials said on friday that reporters were in their country that they didn't know who had them. have you heard anything about that and has anyone at the scene have a sense of where they might be? >> that was one of our first questions yesterday and again today. part of the problem is that there doesn't seem to be one commander in charge sochl when we did ask to speak to a leader, nobody was produced. it's a huge problem.

that's what the black box is. definitely should show a signature sound or note if it was struck by a missile. this is a multiple system failure presumably with mixed explosions. to record what the flight crew was saying. and again, rule out experts. >> we're looking at images from the site. i mean, it's extraordinary. it must be extraordinary to see the access that journalists and anyone has been allowed --. are you worried about contamination? >> the point is that one has to see the evidence as it is can affect the investigation.

reconstruction. >> and what you say about the bodies? it's a hugely sensitive issue. we have been hearing from amsterdam and kuala lampur that the families just want their bodies back. >> in terms of the images you have seen coming out, we have had quite incredible images, where would you start an investigation? what would you be looking at as a priority? they are getting some access. >> yes, as they say, i have to reiterate my experience was as an airline pilot.

>> most of these don't involved sophisticated weaponry. flying over conflict zones is not normally an issue. but if there is aerial combat, then indeed that would become dangerous. >> absolutely. very recently aircraft flown by the ukrainian air force was shut down. these are sophisticated vehicle mounted systems. when that happened, that was a clue. where does the plane lie? primarily with those who fly the missile.

>> so you can't take any more people? >> we have more shelters. we are the largest and olders u.n. organization. we run over 200 schools. many of those are in what we call double shifts. in terms of actual school buildings we have around 100. we have the capacity to open them. what we need are the funds. you cannot simply throw your facilities open and tell people to come. we need to be able to run them in an orderly fashion. there are sanitation problems that loom. there are all sorts of other problems associated so we need governments and individuals to come forward. they can donate.
