let's go outfront. an international man mustn't is on for members of a suspected terror cell. the deadly raids in belgium yesterday did not wipe out the terror cell that was ready to launch attacks. the cell said to be very sophisticated with an organized structure, links to syria and iraq. we'll have much more in a moment. across europe police arrested dozens of suspected militants. 13 arrested. two of them were trying to cross over to italy. in paris a dozen detained overnight in connection with terror attacks. in london an 18-year-old woman arrested an suspicion of terrorism and in berlin, men in their early 40s, two of them arrested for links to isis.

police and hundreds of troops are on troll. according to investigators those arrested in belgium were part of a plot to murder police. when you see this across europe how great is the fear of another major attack right now? >> reporter: it's very big. you can tell the security forces are scrambling. they found police uniforms among the terror cell. they believe that the goal of this operation was to kill as many police officers as possible. the cops have to wear bullet proof vests at all times. the cops have to take their weapons home with them. this is one of first times in belgium history that troops have been deployed flds eded inside the country. the first will be deployed at

the timing of this investigation has not been influenced by what happened in paris. of course we followed what happened in paris. the timing of this investigation, this operation was determined by the investigation itself and not by external influences. >> you have said that the suspects had plans to assassinate and attack policeman. we have heard reports that there were plans for some horrific things. things like public beheadings. what can you tell us about what they were planning to do? >> well i can tell you that they especially were planning to assassinate policeman. i know that in the past there's been rumors of kidnapping people and beheading people. at this stage of the investigation we cannot confirm that. >> thank you so much. i appreciate your time.
