survivors of the attack have given harrowing accounts of what happened. >> we were visiting the museum. at first we thoigt a statue had fallen rsh a hospital morgue held the bodies of those unable to escape as government sent envoys and planes to collect them.

hs ago is back in business. hundreds began lining up for the lent cafe. the gunman took 17 people hostage in the cafe spashing a 16 hour stand off with police. dilled one hostage and yet another were killed in the gun balt battle that ended it all. >> and threats to the u.s. embassy in japan. >> what is not clear is if that arrest is tied to reported death threats. we get more now from cnn in tokyo. >> police in japan have arrested a 52-year-old man who has admitted to making calls from a pay phone threatening to blow up the u.s. embassy here in tokyo a

u.s. marine base. according to authorities, the man made three calls this month to the embassy and the now investigating if there is any link between these threats and those on the life of care line kennedy, the u.s. ambassador to japan. there are reports at least 30 threatening phone calls were made which involves specific death threats against kennedy, the daughter of president john f kennedy. they have been working closely and believe there is no connection between the death threats and attack on u.s. ambassador ambassador. just weeks akbo a crazed man attacked the ambassador slashing his face and arms.
