we're getting word the iraqi army is ordering people in fal luj ye falluja, cnn joins us on the phone. jamana, tell us what you're learning this morning. >> well, christi, the iraqi military through state tv is asking residents of the city of falluja to leave the city ahead of the operation to liberate the city. as you recall, this was the i first city in iraq to fall to isis back in january of 2014. now, the military saying that it has created safe corridors for the families and residents to leave. they've set up hot lines for people to call in to try to leave, and they say if they end up stuck in the city, they should put a white flag on top of their homes, but christi, in recent weeks, we've heard from organizations like human rights watch saying tens of thousands of civilians remain in full l--

and concerns about these residents, especially after reports that some families, siecivilians have been executedr trying to flee the city. so this will be a really major -- after clearing the province, if you recall, 70% was under isis control. they've regained a lot of control. falluja, great concern for the civilians in the city. >> no doubt. some of the pictures we were looking at there, these are pictures we're just getting in of the military units making their way to that city right now. thank you so much. we appreciate t we're going to talk more about this in just a little bit. and ask a military expert how

>> i believe that it does, victor, because what we have seen in the past several years, even though there has been a complete lack of action on this, on behalf of congressional republicans that the majority of americans do agree there should be common sense limitations on being able to give the opportunity for people to get guns who shouldn't get guns. people with severe mental disabilities, criminal, and the way you do that is expanding common sense background checks. republicans are against it because they're in the pocket of the nra. what we've seen in the last couple of days is that donald trump has now since jumped into the pocket of the nra, becoming a puppet of the nra, because he is towing the line of the nra, which several years ago, he criticized republicans for doing. so he not only lied about secretary clinton's position, but he has flip flopped his own position to make sure that the nra is fully backing him, even

though it means that he is going against the majority of what americans want. >> all right, a lot of accusations in there. let me get trump's response from trump himself and then to you, scottsty. he tweeted this. crooked hillary said i want guns brought into the school classroom. wrong. but now i want you to hear what donald trump said in october, after the deadly shooting at an oregon community college. >> the second amendment to our constitution is clear. now, this is in light of what's gone on with oregon. everything something happens, they don't blame mental illness or mental health care is out of whack and all of the problems. it was a gun free zone. if you had a couple of teachers or somebody with guns in the room, would you have been a hell of a lot better of off. >> all right, scottie, reconcile those two for me. >> well, no, he is saying the

exact same thing all along. every shooting that happens in a gun free zone, because the only person that has a gun in the gun free zone is the criminal them self. they don't care about a background check. these folks are already mentally deranged, mental health issues, with say why mr. trump is sitting there saying we need to look at the mental health program, rather than take away of the guns of the law-abiding gun citizens. let's look back at hillary clinton right before the pennsylvania primary, when she was pandering to those voters saying the second amendment has nothing to do with hunting. and she sat there and said does hillary think how important gun ownership is and hunting is. so she was all about pandering to those gun owners at that point. we saw how well she did in the state, so maybe she needed to pander some more. >> let me ask you, scottie, so does donald trump believe that guns should be in classrooms or they should not be? >> there should be the option

new revelations this morning in the hours and days before prince's death. according to the minneapolis star tribune, the singer was like dead for six hours before his body was discovered. >> the report also reveals several signs prince was in poor health just days before he died. you'll remember, he was found dead in an elevator at his paisley park compound last month. sara sidner joins us from minnesota there. what else can you tell us about the last hours? >> reporter: yeah, also that publication, the star tribune, talked to a source that said prince was actually in the hospital the day before he died, and he was given intra convenientious fluids at that time. we don't know why that was. we do know from his publicist, a

few days before he died, the publicist told cnn that he was suffering from the flu, so we really don't know why he was getting, and what he was getting the fluids for, but we were told that by the publicist. just a day later, april 21st, he was found dead inside an elevator. we're learning from someone who heard from a paramedic, who showed up on the scene, prince was likely dead for more than six hours before his body was discovered. we're also getting more information as to what led up to this, that after his plane made an emergency, you'll remember that, he had just done some concerts in atlanta, people were extremely enthusiastic, but on his way back here, he had to make an emergency stop in moline, illinois. he was taken to the hospital. sources have told us that he was treated for what was possibly could have been an overdose. we're now learning that he was

be like for them when they're searching for the plane and hearing no response. joining us from cairo this morning. we understand memorials are being held for the victims of the crash. what are you hearing from families today? >> reporter: well, really, it is a day of mourning here. there are those funerals that are taking place, even though there aren't any bodies. it is customary to once hearing that someone has died, you have some sort of service, some sort of funeral, at least within the three days after the notification to pray for them as well as for offering condolences. but it really has shocked, not just the families, the egyptair community, but really all of egypt. people still in disbelief, but all of them really comes to the grips that these people aren't coming up. the egyptian government has said that it could take some time to

get the bodies to the family members, once and if they are able to recover them, because they will have to go through d i na testing to make sure the right body gets to the right family, and then they'll have the burials. but still very much a sad time for egypt. >> i'm sure there is such a struggle, an emotional struggle, because not only are they letting go of somebody they love, but they don't know why it happened. i'm sure those questions are hovering all of these memorials. we know they're going to try to recover the data recorders, working with depths up to you oh 10,000 feet. do they have a timeline by which they think they can make it happen? >> reporter: this is what we're hearing from the egyptian government today is that they have the investigators out there. their main priority right now is to find the coordinates of the search area, as well as

gathering all the pieces, collecting them. they will be taken to a military base here in egypt. once they have everything collected, including the voice recorders, fuselage, all the bits and pieces, then that will be brought here to cairo where they'll start going through it to really determine the cause. we're told that within about a month, they should have some sort of preliminary report to answer all those questions that we've had about what caused this. but we are also hearing that they do have a submarine out there from the ministry of p petroleum aiding them. >> thank you for the update, ian lee. following breaking news. the people of fallujah are being told to get out now. get to safety. troops preparing to battle isis and take back control of that em battled iraqi city. a drone strike may have

it seems. the iraqi joint operations command is warning the isis will be launched within a few days. but you can see a family there, somebody holding a young child as they try to get out. the military has told families to call or text to seek evacuation. families who cannot escape have been told to raise a white flag above their homes. cnn military analyst is with us now. so rick, as you take a look at how this is progressing this morning, how are u.s. intelligence, u.s. troops, the u.s. military in general, how are they assisting? will they be on the ground with the iraqi forces? >> yeah, they will. in the last few months, we've been pushing our advisors to a much lower level. initially we started out at the brigade level. we're working with the battalions. those are the once that will go into fallujah. they're the ones that will

conduct the assault. going after fallujah makes sense. it is the next step in what we're seeing out there. at one time, isis controlled all three quarter of the province. this a prelude to the eventual liberation. you can't go north until you clear out the west. you're going to see a lot of u.s. assets to help the iraqis. one thing we have out here is a lot of intelligence. this will be another hard fought battle it is a good thing they're trying to evacuate these people. once the battles take place, the damage will be tremendous. >> a lot of people i think look at this and think if you are announcing your arrival, does that not also give isis the ability to either get important people out of the city, or to better prepare themselves? is there a risk, i guess? >> well, yeah, there is. but the eye iraqis have

surrounded it. isis hopefully is very well trapped in there. and it's been no surprise that that tack is coming. so it's not like we're telegraphing our intentions to isis. they know it was going to happen and then ae been preparing for it. it will be i hard fought battle, and the next step in the eventual liberation of all of the province. this will kick a you have inoff days. it won't be easy, but the iraqis are so much better than they were three, four months ago. >> so you're confident in them. they have an a lie in tlly that will be surprised to hear about. apparently, these are some of the hezbollah troops that have joined forces. it has been labeled a terrorist group. the u.s. does not like them,

they don't like the u.s. how is it, and how do you think that will work for the u.s., the iraqi army and the hezbollah forces to work together? >> it is an interesting position of all these sources, but if you notice the flags they're flying, they have a red square. this is not lebanese. this is not the group we are used to seeing in syria. this is an iraq ca hezbollah. these are shiashia. we prefer not to work with them, but they're going to be some of the better fighting units on the frontlines. the iraqis have done a good job of integrating them in. these fighters are not welcome in the province. they've got to use them and get them out of there. >> okay, rick, stay with us for a second. i want to talk to you about what is going on in syria as well. what we're sharing with you here is a cnn exclusive. a secret trip to syria with the

highest ranking general ever known to visit the battle torn country. barbara starr captured it on video. she and her team traveled along with the army general yesterday, as he flew into northern area, without the cover of darkness. while they were inside syria, again, this is new exclusive video here, he met with antiisis leaders where he got a first hand look at american efforts to train local forces to fight the terror group. i'm wondering what does his presence do to engage the troops and narrow the focus, and how many of a gauge do they have on the forces that they're working with, that there is no isis infiltration there? >> well, okay, this is two-sided. this is very important that he did this, because it does, it shows the flag thing, but he goes in and talks to the people that we want to risk their lives to fate on our behalf, to go after isis in syria.

when you send the commander, you're sending a real message. more importantly, the general is the guy who talks to the secretary of defense. the chain of command, it goes nowhere else. so now we're going to get the guy on the ground that has to run this war. he can talk directly to the secretary of defense and say i was there, this is what we need, this will work, this won't work, and talking to the special operations people, who are on the ground there, what do you need. what will work. and it's much more effective when he can put his own eyeballs on this and represent what we need to the secretary of defense. and it will energize what we're trying do in syria. i think we're seeing a lot of success in iraq, but we are really struggling in syria. >> lieutenantrick, thanks for b us. >> don't forget, you can see barbara starr's report on "new

after the secret death in 2012, 13, he was the long time leader, mansour then fought his way to that position. now, he is dead, yes, the question is, who takes his role. maybe those who sought to be who interviewed, but those fare, the deputy, who may in fact assume the rule. harkani is the chief facilitator of al qaeda in afghanistan. it could be a significant lurch, now, this morning, so far, the afghan government has begun to give more conclusive suggestions. they believe he is dead. the defense ministry and abdullah, who is the chief executive, prime minister to some degree, they've come forward and said he is dead. but the presidency himself has been slight she more

about the change. >> i think the parent wants the child to go, instead of where the child wants to go. >> just know the stand i'm taking is for the best interest of everybody. >> population, 12,000, cleveland, mississippi, has 11 public schools that are separated by train tracks that used to be right here. to the east, east side high school. that's 99% black. to the west, cleveland high school, which historically has been seen as a school for whites. though enrollment is pretty enly split between the races. but still not representative of the population. the department of justice took exception, and pushed to change it. >> i thought we were doing pretty well. >> attorney jamie jack represents the school district. for the last 50 years she said, the district has complied with orders to integrate. but for a federal judge, the process wasn't moving fast enough. >> what the court said is it wasn't intensive enough and we think that with the constitution and the law of the

supreme court says is you don't have to have a racial quota that is required in every school and every district. you have to have made a good faith effort and we think our district as a whole is desegregated. >> since 2013, they've allowed open enrollment, which gives the freedom of choice for any student, white black or other to go where ever they wants. they say the system of joychoic proves segregation does not exist. no one we spoke to at the graduation seemed to disagree with it. most said they like the way things are. >> the choice is not for us. >> some of us go over there, some of them come over here. it shouldn't make a difference, we see each other ever day. >> but duvall wants to see change, because it is good for the entire community he says because it provides equal opportunity for all. >> we're trying to make the

we get an unprecedented look at how they're fighting isis. new details on the death of prince. sara sidner is live in minnesota. >> reporter: we're learning new details about the days and hours leading up to his death and sad details about how long he was dead before his body was discovered here at paisley park. we'll have that coming up in just a bit. >>announcer: this is cnn breaking news. we have breaking news we want to share with you this mornin morni morning. the iraqi army is ordering people to get out as the military will retake the city from isis. joining us now, jamana what, are you learning? >> reporter: well, christi, the iraqi military is asking residents of fallujah to leave the city ahead of the operation, to liberate fallujah from isis. they say the operation will begin in the next few days. as you recall, fallujah was the

first city in iraq to fall to isis back in january of 2014. the military saying they've created safe passage areas for civilians to leave through hot lines they can call into if they want to leave, and if they're unable to leave, they can raise a white flag on top of their homes to indicate there are civilians in there. the real concern is for the civilians in fallujah being unable to leave, human rights watch saying there are tens of thousands of civilians of fallujah, that they are trapped by isis, they are besieged by iraqi security forces and they are starved to death. civilians who have tried to flee have been executed. an operation to liberate would be a huge for iraqi forces after retaking much of aa.

she can pander to these second, pro second amendment folks, listen, i'm all for you hunters, but on the other hand, she wants to put them out of business. that right there shows that she is against the second amendment. >> okay, well, the viewers at home can determine if those two wanting to abolish the second amendment, and maria, some evidence that supports this claim that we heard from hillary clinton that, quote, donald trump wants to, quote, put more kids at risk of violence and bigotry. 30 seconds. >> absolutely. donald trump's words that came out of his mouth back in october, when he said he wanted to abolish gun-free zones especially in schools to be able to bring in as many guns as they wanted to. versus his own resorts and the places he owns which are currently gun-free. so again, you see donald trump as a candidate who has never met a lie that he doesn't want to amplify if it works in his

favor. >> all right, so we'll let the viewers determine if that one equate gs equates to the rhetoric at well. let's go the to the poll. maria, it shows the most recent numbers 46-44 in favor of trump versus 50-41 clinton back in march. i know you're going say a poll six months before the general election means nothing. however, it is a snapshot in time. it shows what voters are thinking right now. so right now, what is happening? there is an 11 point swing toward donald trump? >> a couple of things, victor. to your point, polls this far out of the general election mean nothing. let's just ask president mitt romney if he thinks they mean anything, because at this point in 2012, he was ahead by several points. so but going back to the snapshot in time, i think a couple of things are going on. the first one is that the republican party is starting to

coalesce behind donald trump, and you are seeing republicans, you know, many of them reluctantly, many of them holding their nose, many of them grimacing, but at least saying, okay, i guess we have to do this, and you're seeing that in polls. and the opposite is happening, well, not the opposite, but another dynamic is happening in the democratic party, which it is not settled yet. you know, while hillary clinton is going to ultimately be the nominee, you still have some divisions between bernie sanders supporters who want to try to see if he can gain this out until the very end. what is going to happen, i believe, in the general election, which is a different electorate than the republican primary process electorate, is you're going -- donald trump is going to run into huge demographics of which he needs more support from if he wants to win the white house that have absolutely no interest in supporting him because of the demagoguery and hateful remarks he has made about them. you're going to see that play

out in the general election. >> scottie, let me come to you about this poll. 11 point swing toward donald trump, but inside the numbers, he is still trailing by large margins on many of the issues, including factorability, although they are unfavorably strongly by the same numbers, but on some of the specifics, trade, he has some superiority, but as it relates to foreign affairs and other topics, he still has ground to make up. how does he do it. >> first of all, i think mary is very accurate and correct on both sides, both the republicans and democrats, she did admit i think some of the republican also have to face. but in breaking down the polls, you mentioned a couple of things. he is also leading on the economy, terrorism, truth, on restoring trust in government. donald trump is leading ten plus points. i think a lot of it comes to the rhetoric that hillary clinton is speaking when she talks about bigotry and insulting millions

the star tribune he was actually taken to the hospital and given intravenous fluids in the hospital. we don't know what it was for, but certainly, he was showing some health problems just 24 hours before he was found dead here at his paisley park compound. we're also learning what happened in that flight, where he had to make an emergency landing, because he was unresponsive on his plane. they landed in moline, illinois, and treated, sources telling cnn, what could have been an overdose. we're learning when he returned here, he actually was getting really agitated. he was becoming more and more agitated, which is what prompted them to call to try to get someone here to help. some of the details giving a fuller picture just how he was feeling in the days before he died and then the disturbing detail he was likely dead for at least six hours here. a source that heard from a paramedic on the scene that day before anyone was able to find prince's body.

he was found by several people, including the son of a doctor in california, who was called here on an emergency mission. christi. >> and i'm taking a look at what's behind you, i see a few balloons. what's going on with the compound now? >> reporter: you know, christi, it is such a great question. we've been here for the whole time since prince died. for months now, a month and a day there have been people every single day, fans who have been coming here and putting up this massive memorial that has spanned the entire fence around paisley park. what happened now is that the trust that has taken over the property to divide it between his heirs, they've decided to take some of it down, but they are going to preserve a lot of it. there was some beautiful paintings, beautiful items that had been put up by his fans. they're going to take it, preserve it, and it will at some point be in a place where people can come and see it.

welcome back. just the last few seconds, we've got confirmation of a major and what could be a crucial deployment by egypt in the search for egyptair flight 804. let's go to cnn correspondent ian lee who is in cairo. what have you learned? >> reporter: well, we're learning this is coming from the egyptian presidency that a submarine will be used in the search and recovery of the data recorders from the flight. this is a submarine on loan from egypt's ministry of petroleum.

they hope they can use it to get to the black boxes as soon as possible, and really, that's where the search is focusing right now. the investigators are out there now with the egyptian navy on the sea, coordinating the area that they're searching, as well as gathering those pieces. those pieces that they do recover will be brought to an egyptian military base where they will be gathered and then ultimately brought here to cairo where they will be put together. we're hearing also from egyptian authorities that they hope to have a preliminary report ready within a month's time. so kwequite a long time to go. the submarine, just the latest tool in the toolbox for these searchers and investigators. >> on loan from the oil ministry, headed to the eastern mediterranean to continue the

search as the investigation and search continues. i understand, ian, memorials are being held for the victims of the crash, and this is happening, even as the bodies have not been recovered. >> reporter: that's right. and according to egyptian tradition, the bodies, once they are they hear that someone has died, within three days, they have a funeral where they pray for the dead as well as receive condolences, even though the bodies haven't been recovered. the egyptian government is telling the families to be patient. that this could take sometime to recover them if they are able to recover them, because remember, they are finding body parts in the sea, but once they are gathered, this is one of the priorities of the egyptian government is to identify them with dna testing to make sure the right loved one gets to their appropriate families, but it could be quite sometime before they're actually able to

breaking news out of the middle east this sunday morning. residents of fallujah iraq are being told to get out of the is it i and get to safety, as the iraqi mill tear vee preparing to retake it, and they're trying to hard to keep civilians safe here. in the meantime, across the border in syria, a cnn exclusive. a secret trip to syria with the highest ranking general ever known to visit the battle torn country. pentagon correspondent, barbara starr, visiting with general joseph votel, asking for more ammunition. we'll have more on that story tomorrow on "new day," but we want to talk to michael weiss, a senior editor at the daily beast. let's start with fallujah first. what is your take on what's going to happen there? >> reporter: well, so fallujah has been held by isis since

2014. this is the kind of sign that al qaeda insurgency or initially against the united states military and the iraqi government. you'll recall there were two battles to retake fallujah in 2004, the second of which leveled the city. the americans got done with it. this has been sort of the backyard of these groups since the americans toppled sad dam in 2003. my concern, we say the iraqi is going to retake it, but in fact, there is maliciaa, but out of loyalty to iran, and sunnis under the isis rule in fallujah do not want them coming in because they don't see them as

liberators. they're going to burn down houses and arrest anybody they consider to be quote-unquote collaborators with isis and probably torture them in prisons. this has been a serial problem in this war. particularly very professional nonsectarian groups like the golden division, they go in and retake terrain, things tend to go a bit better. it is exactly the kind of scenario you do not want to see play out in iraq. >> i just wanted to reference some of the video we're going to show you here. some of the individual we would he have a he gotten in this it morning. the shiites you were talking about, they are hezbollah fighters to some degree, the popular mobilization force, and they are fight ago long side the iraqi army, as you were talking about. but these are some of the pictures of them going into fallujah. we know that the u.s. is

assisting with air strikes and intel and surveillance, but this fight is going to be a brutal one. when they are telling people who cannot get out of the city to put white flags on their homes, so that the battle -- so the forces will know not to attack that home, can't there be isis malicia in the homes, i would think they would either try to hide or just try to infiltrate the city there, unknown at the time. >> absolutely. i mean, again, going back to 2004, the second battle for fallujah, one of the problems was a lot of the al qaeda and iraq guys, just for viewers, the original name of what is today isis. a lot of them smuggled out, under the auspices of the u.s. military. what ended up happening, they

went to mosul, they were setting up shop, making it their fall back barracks. not to be confused with lebanese hezbollah. this is an iraqi hezbollah. in 2007, these guys were responsible for killing five u.s. service men in the city of karb karbolla. so the idea that u.s. war planes are giving any kind of air cover, which by the way is a designated u.s. terrorist organization, this goes to show you, we sh-- america is many respects really bad actorswho are blood thirsty for americans. they hate the united states and if they could, they would kill americans. >> but we appreciate the

clarification, certainly, michael weiss, thank you so much. >> sure, my pleasure. >> absolutely, sir. thanks. let's shift now from isis to the tag bliban, possibly killed a drone strike. the afghan intelligence claiming just a short time ago that mullah mansour, the highest ranking terror group was killed on saturday, the target of an american air strike. in washington, let's start with cnn international correspondent, nick paton walsh in beirut for us. nick, the u.s. has not yet been able to confirm 100% that mullah mansour has been killed. there was a healthy dose of skepticism about the death of mullah omar. how are the afghan authorities so certain he is now dead? >> reporter: we simply don't know at this stanl, victor. you mentioned mullah omar, he died a number of years before

actually the taliban admitted to that, many conspiracy theories why they tried to keep that secret. it was mullah mansour who succeeded him and now we have u.s. officials say on the afghan pakistan border likely killed him. afghan officials trying to be more certain, defense ministry, the chief executive, abdullah saying they believe he is dead. and the presidency saying they're still looking at the details, trying to work out what happened. no official word from the taliban yet. but perhaps people here are trying to sort of exploit the deficit of transparency they had about his death. do you know if he is dead or alive. he'll have to live secret if drones are hunting him. they're looking for physical proof, one other man was traveling with him. that will be very difficult, given the terrain we're talking about and it will take time, even if they do get there to confirm exactly who was in that car. but victor, the key point the

u.s. is making here, this man, mullah mansour, was an obstacle to the peace process. that peace process has long been in jeopardy. the taliban under mullah mansour has renewed leadership didn't want to get involved. they were too busy making ground on the battle field at that particular stage. the hope perhaps is amongst u.s. officials now he is dead, somehow moderate also come forward and perhaps take his place. i have to say that's unlikely, because the most obvious successor, the man known as the chief al qaeda facilitator, and afghanistan. >> nick, thank you very much for reaction stateside, let's bring in diane gallagher. diane, president obama, we understand, authorized this strike personally. what are u.s. officials saying? >> reporter: receiving praise from both sides of the aisle, the fact that president obama gave the final authorization of the drone strike. we hear that he was actually

receiving updates while he was on his flight to vietnam, and we're not expecting anything from the white house itself as far as an official statement goes until we get complete verification that mullah mansour has been killed. but secretary of state, john kerry, in a news conference from myanm myanmar, did talk about the strike and what it represents. >> yesterday, the united states conducted a precision air strike that targeted taliban leader, mullah mansour, in a row remote area of the afghanistan/pakistan border region. mansour posed a continuing imminent threat to u.s. personnel and afghanistan to afghan civilians, afghan security forces, and resolute

well, this morning, bernie sanders taking his feud with the chair of the democratic national committee to a new level here. jake tapper, host of "state of the union" is joining us now. what did he say to you that you really took notice about? >> well, he had a lot to say about his fight with secretary clinton in terms of their challenge in the primary, also about what he thought the party should do going forward, when it comes to whether there should even be super delegates. one thing that was really interesting is when i brought up the fact that his campaign has been very critical of the chair of the democratic national committee, congresswoman debbie wasserman schultz. take a listen. >> your campaign has argued that

debbie wasserman schultz, the chair has not been neutral in her position as chair. your campaign manager, jeff weaver in particular, has been very critical. she is being challenged right now in a primary by tim canova. he is a law professor who opposes the pacific trade deal, he supports you, he has raised $1 million. you've been calling for a revolution in florida, are you with wasserman schulz or are you with her opponent? >> well, clearly i favor her opponent. his views are much closer to mine than as wasserman schulz, and let me also say this, in all due respect to the current chairperson, if elected president, she would not be reappointed to be chair of the dnc. >> now, that is a very, very strong statement from senator sanders. we should point out a couple of things. one of them is in wasserman

schulz's congressional district, hillary clinton did much better, 68%, to bernie sanders 30.1%. in march, in florida, but nonetheless, bernie sanders is going to send out a fundraising email on behalf of wasserm schuz as ch challenger. we'll see how it affects her reelection chances. >> do you see a real disruption in the democratic party and any risk of her losing her seat in the primary? >> there definitely is a huge division, and right now, the divisions are far more noticeable than the ones in the republican party. there is still a group of republican whose are not going to support donald trump, and who are looking for a third party candidate. for the most part, we've seen a consolidation around donald trump. there a new poll out this morning, abc news "washington post" showing an 11 points swing in donald trump's direction.

just in to cnn, look at this, the buildup of forces and resources on the outskirts of fallujah as the iraqi military and security forces prepare to go in. now this is amateur video posted on social media. we've been covering the breaking news all morning. the alert that's been sent out to residents, families in fallujah, get out now. these iraqi forces are attempting to now take the city back from isis. if those families can't get out

they've been told to put a white flag on their rooftops but again, you see the buildup here, the fight going in soon. >> some of the other stories we're following this sunday, a volcanic eruption killed at least seven people and even more could be trapped by the hot ash that spewed. >> this happened yesterday afternoon in western indonesia. authorities say two people are in critical condition after mount sinabong erupted. investigators say all of them were farming in what's called the red zone, an area near the volcano that is supposed to be off limits. a strong cyclone has made landfall in bangladesh, killing at least 21 people. strong winds and sheets of rain caused widespread flooding. more than half a million people were evacuated to higher ground before it hit. one of the strongest tornadoes ever recorded an ef5 is winds more than 200 miles per hour destroyed a third of the town of joplin and killed 158 people, it happened five years ago today.
