mastermind of the paris terror attacks is dead tonight with the $5 million bounty on his head. mohammad al adnaadnani, and cal for deaths to americans by any means possible. nick, what do you know tonight about this? it's obviously a very significant kill? >> reporter: the details from isis themselves is minimal. both their affiliated agency and the statement from them saying he was killed while inspecting military operations near aleppo. they didn't say when. there have been eulogies from him on social media and isis supporters and what we've heard from a senior defense official is that it was targeting a senior isis leader and they won't say if it was adnani they were after and you can put two

and two together here. it's unlikely isis would make a high-profile announcement of such a key figure unless he really had lost his life and it comes at a terrible time when they are being pushed near syria and iraq near the turkish border where they need fighters and supplies in. this could not be a more seminal noll figure behind their slick, gruesome at times video system which was used to recruit people. the propaganda of extremism and brutality and executions. the man who directed attacks in the west, the paris attacks you mentioned, too, and perhaps above all the man who has likely changed the model of inspiring recruits to attack people in the west. he said you don't need to wait for us to give you instructions and go out there and kill them the infidels wherever you find them and later isis would claim responsibility. we've seen so many attacks like that in the past few months or so.

that keep coming out about her? >> do you trust hillary clinton? do you 100% trust her? >> yes, do i. >> reporter: i also had a chance to talk to marco rubio about the speech donald trump is giving tomorrow on immigration and what rubio told me is it's, quote, not realistic for donald trump to want to deport the 11 million undocumented immigrants. he also said mexico is not going to pay for a border wall and that's something donald trump has made as a centerpiece of his campaign. when i pushed rubio about whether or not donald trump had softened his rhetoric on immigration he would not go through and said he criticized democrats. it shows the fine line marco rubio is walking here with dealing with donald trump in florida? manu, thank you very much. >> as you heard manu talking about, republicans are watching about what trump will say on immigration because you have a lot of people mainstream in that part that completely disagree with him. trump's son saying his father will not soften his hardline stance. here's donald trump jr. >> his policy has been the same

for the six, seven, eight months. >> they all have to go. >> correct. you have to start with baby steps. you have to let i.c.e. do their job and you have to eliminate sanctuary cities and you vo to get rid of the criminals, first and foremost and secure the border. these are common sense thing, anders anderson. >> jim acosta is live. what do you expect from him tonight? he's preparing his speech and what are we going hear from him tonight? >> we will hear from donald trump tonight and he has an event just outside of seattle and a curious place for a republican to go and it's a reliably blue state and he'll be back on message with hillary clinton tonight and what we do know with this speech tomorrow night is donald trump is receiving input on this critical speech on immigration and his runningmate mike pence told reporters that he's been talking about this address with trump and as you played in that clip from donald trump jr., there appears to be this movement toward a baby steps approach as the candidate's son put it. no more do you hear people inside the campaign talk about a

deportation force that he mentioned early on in the process, the deportation force that would round up the 11 million or so undocumented immigrants in this country. instead, what i'm hearing and what you're hearing from sources inside and close to the campaign is the notion of prioritizing deportation starting with those that have broken the law in this country and deciding later on what to do with the rest of the undo you meaned. they know inside the campaign that would not sit well with some in the conservative base which is why, erin, there will be a big focus building an actual wall, and kellyanne conway the campaign manager was talking about that today and comparisons will be made with hillary clinton's immigration plan which governor pence earlier today labeled open borders. the campaign is confident, erin, that republicans will side with them over clinton when they draw the contest. we'll hear plenty of that tomorrow night. >> of course, donald trump will be speaking tonight, as well. as you point out in seattle. thank you very much. maria cardona, pro-clinton super pac, pastor james davis, a

donald trump supporter, baccari sellers, hillary clinton supporter. corey lewandowski, trump's former campaign major and still receiving severance from the campaign and trump republican. let me start with you. you heard marco rubio. you heard john mccain. both of them at least from the polls coming in will continue to win today and we don't have the final results and still not willing to say they will campaign with donald trump. it was so tepid. it was damning. how significant is that? >> well, in some places i think it will be significant. i think it will be more significant for senator toomey in pennsylvania and my home state. for marco rubio, i'm not so sure because he's popular although we do need to remember that he was defeated by about 20 points by donald trump and his presidential primary in florida. for john mccain that's a different story again and he's got a tough race on his hands, and i do think the trump folks are pretty passionate people, and they're remembering who is

and who is not going along here with the band. >> maria, that's an interesting point, though because obviously donald trump came out in the most personal of ways with john mccain saying he's not a war hero. john mccain never fully backed off donald trump. he has not joined the anti-trump list and he's not planning to. it's not as if you're suddenly seeing some rift and you're not going to get a marco rubio or john mccain to come on that side. >> sure, but i think the problem that republicans are facing is that, like trump, they are now going to face a general election electorate which, like trump, is very different than what they faced in their primary and the fact of the matter is that a lot of people see even if john mccain and especially marco rubio who had nothing, but the most i haves rating of insults saying he could not be trusted with the nuclear codes. to then go back and say this he supports him for president that just doesn't jive with the general election electorate.

it certainly doesn't jive with independents who are trying to make this decision, and i think it really plays into, frankly, the hillary clinton campaign -- not just her, but also republican moderates who have fallen away from trump and going to support hillary, the latest of which is reagan solicitor general, right? charles freed. >> yeah. >> so it underscores that sentiment and so i think that will be very damning for that general. >> as the polls are closing here and one thing is that when you look at the numbers coming and we'll see what happens tonight and the numbers coming in look like they'll see marco rubio and john mccain win the primaries. they're running against people, both of whom support the wall and vocally supports the muslim ban. isn't there repudiation from supporters of donald trump? >> no. when donald trump was on the ballot donald trump won 38 times in locations where he was on the ballot and if you look at marco rubio's performance in the state of florida in the presidential

primary he lost 66 out of 67 counties. the good news for marco rubio and it is very important in the last four years republicans have made gains in party registration by 300,000 people now. barack obama won the state of florida by 75,000 votes and the democrats still have an advantage and the good news for marco rubio and for donald trump in florida is it's trending to register more republicans right now. >> that's not true. politico just wrote a story that talked about how there's been 436,000 new registered voters since 2012 in florida, and 76% of those voters are not white. they are minority voters. so florida and the demographics are actually trending away and more people are registering as independents. so there is a demographic problem. >> 557,000 people are registered in 2012 and 259,000 are now registered and this is cnn's numbers and not some tabloid like politico. >> 75,000 people. so you can blame cnn or blame

tactics and trying to put it out. mark burns is also the individual who announced a shift in the trump campaign and their focus and that's donald trump's visit to detroit on saturday. while he's been pushing the outreach for minority voters is doing it for audiences and trump will visit a predominantly black church and the issue of the strategy here when you talk to trump advisers is two-for-one and they have a lot of work to do when it comes to minority voters and there is a desperate need to soften trump's image with suburban voters and that's one thing they're focused on. >> thank you very much. phil mattingly from where donald trump will be speaking in the next hour. >> my panel is back with you. >> mark burns is sorry for the image he tweeted and doubling down on the message. should he have apologized? >> i don't think he should have apologized. it's as if hillary clinton is above political satire and political cartoons. i don't hear any outrage when

they paint donald trump in a swastika and liken him to hitler. there isn't all of this. l hoopla, and there are things named in the cartoon, talking about hot sauce in her bag and the rest of it and so enough is enough. when can we not say what needs to be said? these would be pointed out that in fact, our community has voted this way for 50 years and we've gotten nothing for it, even longer in some cases and as a result we sit here now with the communities the way they are and mark burns pointed out that yes, she is. acquiescent to black lives matter when they talk about the police statement and the hot sauce in my bag across the shirt. to me, when i read that if it wasn't true it wouldn't have been funny and that's part of satire in that what she's saying is actual. >> so what do you make of that, baccari, that this is satire. putting donald trump in a swastika, nobody complains why

not this? >> i know mark burns and i am glad mark burns apologized and it went beyond the pale andant wan mcray, and yousuf salam what were the central park five who he led a lynch mob in the early '90s and that's the apology that needs to be made. it's not pandering, sir, when hillary clinton goes into south carolina and talks about getting young african-american males out of prisons and it's not pandering when she goes into the segregated south to make sure that african-americans have children and it's not pandering when there are african-american children in this country that have access to healthcare because of the chips program that she put on her back. i understand -- i'm just going to just, one more thought. i understand that thought and that's fair. your assertion is fair if you want to make it, it's not truthful or rooted in fact, but that's fine and -- >> the fact that the reason it's

african-american community and equally targeted and wanted to find a way to vote for him. who is he targeting this message at? >> he's polling at 8% among african-americans and they don't traditionally do well with african-americans and mitt romney gets 6 hers and john mccain gets 4%. and he's doubling the percentage. is that satisfactory? of course it's not satisfactory. the bottom line is he's doing outreach. >> 26% -- 26% of the african-american community currently lives in poverty, there are 4 million more african-american people today under the obama administration that are on economic assistance. -- >> i have a short quote. >> go ahead, tara, i'm sorry. >> this is my question if according to the pastor over here that donald trump doesn't have to explain himself and he doesn't have to give a plan then why has he wasted the last two weeks of this crucial time in the campaign pandering to the

her. our justice reporter evan perez is out front and obviously something a lot of people are waiting for. >> reporter: absolutely, erin. the fbi director james comey decided to show the public how they reached their decision not to bring charges against hillary clinton for keeping classified information in a private e-mail server. in the next few days the fbi is set to release the roughly 30-page report that they provided to prosecutors recommending that no charges be brought. they're also going to release notes from fbi's interview with hillary clinton and this is an unprecedented step in a case where there were no charges brought, but comey's hope here is that by releasing these investigative documents the public will see that clinton didn't get any special treatment from the fbi and that it wasn't even a close call. i am told the cia and other agencies are making redactions at this hour to these document which is is a reminder that despite what secretary clinton said there was classified

campaign and they're dying to get this behind them. what we saw today once again is the cozy relationship between the state department and the clinton foundation asking for special favors whether that be seated at a special spot next to the vice president during dinner and whether it's getting the crown prince, and moreover, don't forget, hillary clinton said she turned over all these e-mails and what we found out again today was more e-mails about benghazi. it wasn't about yoga. it wasn't about chelsea's wedding it was about benghazi that were not turned over to the fbi and were found by a private entity. >> on that point, that there's so much in here in these meetings, an advise tore donald trump, a personal adviser, a friend of 40 years, tom barrack, billionaire raising money for him, right? i talked to him yesterday and i asked him about hillary clinton's e-mails. a 40-year friend of donald trump and met with him yesterday and here's when he said. >> i e-mailed the foundation and we know how difficult it is to
