into pedestrians on the london bridge. they went on a stabbing rampage, 7 people were killed. 14 others were wounded. many critically. police arrived eight minutes after they were report fired shots. now in terms of atmosphere in london, i was here yesterday. shock. response the campaign is back up and running for the general election which is on thursday. as a message for the world, really, this is the type of attack we're facing now. it happened earlier this year and this is the new reality, really, to try and stand and security now very much dictating the debate of the election campaign. we're learning more many of them still getting medical care.

valued and respected. she lived and working in a shelter for the homeless until she moved to europe to be with her fiance. she will have had no understanding of the callus cruelty that caused her death. the statement goes on to ask to donate to the local homeless shelter. tragic news. one of seven killed in that terror attack. >> a witness describing how he saw a woman being stabbed repeatedly on the ground. but there were many survivors, but many of them still critical, right. >> that's right. as of yesterday, the update from the national health service here, 36 people being treated in hospital. 21 critically injured. sh at the kings college hospital

then we kind of lay there and if you go out and there was people shoes and they had taken off clothes, big tims, food, all kee kind around. like only, really, secondly they were out while we were just me andering through, they were keeping at it. the paramedics, maybe i knew this already, but i have not seen this before. they run out in the danger and then they turn their back to the danger. and they try to put together in front of them while we're running for our lives. and how great and marvelous they are. i might not ever meet the people. we're proud that they're doing this and they're there every day worrying about whether they come home. we're thankful for them and what

get worse. now it may or may not be a coincidence the president posted this right after the thoughts on conservative fox news channel repeatedly brought it up, the guest said it's a problem in the u.s. and uk elsewhere. we know trump may have been watching and getting that idea and sharing it on twitter. he said, do you notice we're not having a gun debate right now. that's because they used knives and a truck. so this is kind of a curious tweet. some people were confused by it. it's a popular talking point in the u.s. saying we don't need gun control. guns aren't the problem. it's the people using the weapons that are the problem. so the president sort of invoking in a conservative talking point there with that tweet. the mayor responding he doesn't have time to engage with president trump.
