9:07 pm
people couldn't have lived in these conditions. i talked to the preacher. he spent 48 hours in a tree and had to rescue himself and drive in. they never got help along the way. i think it is unfortunately this point a recovery operation. and the numbers so far the government has released are very different from the sense you get on the ground when people talk about missing and the family and this house over there that was swept away. and couldn't have made it. and you drive and the stench is overwhelming. maybe that's animals. we don't know. but these areas a week after the storm look the same. and no one has seen any major government presence. or assistance. they're waiting. >> appreciate it. thank you. a few hours ago the prime minister thanked the u.s. for support saying there's a quote long load ahead. u.s. coast guard and medical personnel from the states have been arriving.

tonight it's another edition of president trump's name game. kind of like scrabble but with no rules and double word score for no cursing. the president's latest target is jerome powell, the chairman of the federal reserve. he took a quick break from bing watching judge jeanine to complain about interest rates. and once again bashed mr. powell. someone you may recall the president himself appointed. in levying his compost pile from which his most ferret ill phrases bloom, the president failed to peg powell with one of his latest nicknames. not lazy, not crazy, not cryin' even. when it comes to jerome powell, this was the best the president could do, quote, where did i find this guy, jerome? oh, well, you can't win them all. now i assume that's intended to be a biting insult, but twitter doesn't actually have a voice. so just typing the name jerome doesn't work. i mean, that is his name. where did i find this guy jerome? oh, well, you can't win them all. that has no bully bravado.
