around the world the coronavirus is spreading faster than containment measures can be put in place. the virus reached more than 80 countries and vice president mike pence doesn't have enough testing kits. almost 98,000 cases are confirmed worldwide. nearly 3400 people have died worldwide. italy has the biggest outbreak in europe and in the united states congress approved more than $8 billion to deal with the disease as well. and off the coast of california, passengers on the grand princess cruise ship are being told to stay in their rooms. the latest from lucy.
