republicans, he had not been spoken to. he had not spoken to biden since that day. in this speech tomorrow night when he's rolling out these big policy plans you were talking about, once the republicans that could be debating at the white house over. he's going to reference the riot that happened on capitol hill. it is a backdrop that you can't ignore while president biden is there and trying to get in that very building because they were trying to disrupt the process that cresemented his win. >> i want to go to bill crystal. for a party that says cares about debt and spending, they have been outed because of a complete lies.

says show sheriff department ar deputy arriving in a pickup truck. they were executing a warrant for alleged drug activity. the family called for the release of all the body cam footage and they say they only show 20 seconds of footage on monday after intense pressure. >> if they're being transparent, why won't they show the world if they have noing tthing to hide f they did everything legally. why won't they show this video? >> reporter: north carolina's law requires for body cam footage to be released to the public. the department will comply with any court orders. >> this tragic incident was quick and over and less than 30 seconds and body cameras are shaky and sometimes hard to d

dicipher. outside of this, police are gathering witnesses. >> reporter: protesters have been marching out the city demanding on more transparency. the governor has weighed in asking a special prosecutor he appointed overseeing everything going on and going forward. that way there are more assurances to the community and the brown's family. it is really not up to the governor. it is not his call. it is up to the local district attorney to make that decision. the district attorney has not weighed in on this particular issue. the pressure is on for the governor. the pressure is on for protesters who are out here tonight. >> erin. >> jason, thank you very much. i want to go straight to charles

ramsey, and professor, i want to start with you first. you can see them wearing helmets and approaching the back of the truck. they pulled up to brown b's dri way. they were serving a warrant for alleged drug activities related to crack cocaine. >> every department is a little different. some department use s.w.a.t. teams in order to make force entries into home. i don't know the policy. it is not unusual to have a s.w.a.t. team to execute a warrant. when is in chicago pd, we did our own search warrant.

philly squad often executed warrants. it depends on the jurisdiction. >> i think it is important that you say that. some people watching looks so military so you are saying in many big cities that would be normal. i think the context is important here. professor, let me ask you of the independent autopsy, that shows brown's fatal shot was in the back of his head. there were other shots to his arms. what can you tell us based on the information that we have in this autopsy that's been put out? >> well, four shots were to the right arm. two of them were grazing shots, just penetrating and the other two shots to the right arm were not lethal, they were both upward shots. one of them to the right mid-arm actually dr. hall was able to recover a small metallic

fragment. this was the second autopsy. the first retrieved all whatever the bullet was internal and whatever they could obtain. the fifth shot was the head shot. that was a lethal shot. it penetrated the skull and fractured the skull. when the bullet hit something hard like that, it is going to deform in fragments. once it hits the brain, it wobbles and turns. i think he died probably a few minutes after that last shot. >> i mean look, it is tragic, we are talking about human being here no matter what the circumstances is suffering the last few minutes. that's horrible and you were saying it was not instantanous.

the impact has been looks like they are hiding something. all of that being said, is it possible, is there any situation in which you would see this many shots, up to ten shots or being shot in the back of the head would be legitimately executed situation by police. >> that's why we have to see the video to find out exactly what was going on. there are strict rules in place for using deadly force against a suspect. from what i heard so far, this does not seem to fit that particular portion of the policy. i need to see the video. what they managed to do in north carolina is fumble the ball beyond anything i have seen in recent times. they need to come up with the

equal and put them back to not where they were before but create a level plain field for people of color and our employment opportunities. absolutely it would make a difference if we had things like paid family leave. it would make a huge difference if we had universal pre-k and making child care affordable. they help employers and businesses and they create better workplaces and bigger and stronger and stable and globally compe competitive. these are pro-work and economic policies. >> all of it makes sense. all the solutions which are important do center around getting more care for children, right? so that parents are supported in working. what about mothers though who want to work and spend quality time with their children. are we sort of giving up on that

balance as a society? >> i think that every parent man or woman, ought to be able to ch charge their own path with regarding to working and being a c caregiver, we see a lot of families are squeezed financially, it take full-time workers particularly at lower wage jobs to be able to put food on the table. we see people rather than choosing what's best for them and their career and their family, economic necessities is driving people both to stay in the work force when they be better off leaving or to leave the work force when they want to stay. >> so, saw the census data, of course, democratic strongholds are losing house seats and trump states are gaining. these changes mean the house majority are in place. >> the reason why it is

different. the majority is in place because i believe it is. the democrats believe it too that's why they are going so far left knowing they are going to lose it. is he right? >> what we are trying to do is make sure the american people have what they need to get through this pandemic and put our economy on the footing to be able to grow. we are worried about what's happening to minimum wage workers. we are worried of what's happening to teachers and healthcare workers. we are not just thinking about big corporations or wealthy donors. we are thinking of the large swap of the americans and they need us to go big. this is the pandemic. it is created until we are rekof ever recovered. we need to make big investments. we are going big because the problem of our economy are seen big. >> congresswoman, i appreciate your time. thank you.

anywhere close to herd immunity. all these people that don't get vaccinated. they're not going to wear a mask because they're not vaccinated. a lot will take masks off and act like they are vaccinated and that's a risk. where do you balance those two things? >> right. so the problem that the cdc has is that we have two countries. we have vaccinated country and vaccinated countries immune and we have unvaccinated country and those folks are still very susceptible to this very bad infection and it's about 50/50 now. but if you tell people that you can do just about anything if you are vaccinated, that is telling people that you have confidence in the vaccines. what's the message to the country when you tell people who are fully vaccinated be wary of crowded locations? you're casting doubt on the efficacy of the vaccine and i don't think there is any doubt on the efficacy on these vaccines. >> does this put you more on the camp of vaccine passports?
