this, they get very little time off between the deployments, and because of this, they are starting to suffer from burnout. and one of the senior officials has started to speak to cnn about this. the u.s. airmen stationed in europe have had to deploy with hours notice to protect the nato eastern flank to train on the defense systems is including patriot defense system. and they are in the region to prepare for a future conflict against china and maintaining the deterrence against north korea, and also the mission going on in middle east. so because of this, 60% of the air branch is deployed at one time, and they have typically less than a year at home after a year away.
