>> yeah difference between romancing, dancing, which i take your point on exactly how all of that and an exit that's pretty tame for tucker because remember, last time we talked about daddy coming home and spanking his daughter so yeah. >> so that's happened too, and i learned about it on your show i mean, i think that's the problem would you want to make it you know what that's the problem, right? it's end. he's he's tries i'm the father of ivf and he's trying to have it both ways in terms of bahkmut, his position on reproductive rights, which he knows is a big issue with women, but then it feels now like they just kinda said i go out and say what you want so this moreover, than what you faced in 16 with hillary know because trump's and the hatred against hillary was so visceral and 30 years baked in but it's, it's more than it's not more gendered, but it's more racist for sure all right. well, here we go.
4:01 am
>> stays out. >> here. thanks guys for being here. thanks to all of you for joining us as well. so grateful to have you i'm kasie hunt. don't go anywhere. cnn news central starts right now sprint vice president kamala harris making her closing pitch to voters as donald trump sows doubt and fears about the election results and a posture can you catastrophe as politico put it, the white house trying to clarify this morning what joe biden said and meant on a get-out-the-vote calls just as donald trump is jumping to fundraise it's off the new york yankees seeking inspiration from the exalted in holy boston red sox trying to come back from a 3-0 deficit there are fans wrong mufi best. one time, boston great i've got over my a lot of time i'm john

berman with kate bolduan and sara presider. this is cnn new central >> six days alvin closing arguments and the historically tight polling, 2024 race enters the final battleground blitz face today, two states so we'll see both harris and trump with harris set to squeeze in an extra pennsylvania stop overnight. trump was in pennsylvania seeming to lay new groundwork to fight election results as harris delivered her closing pitch against the rival she called a petty tyrant in mind more chaos, more division and policies that help those at the very top and hurt everyone else i offer a different path and i ask for
4:03 am
your vote cnn's kevin liptak is tracing harris, tracking harris today. >> kevin give us some sense of what this final stretch thread dg is on her part and her campaign yeah. >> and i think it's clear that she was trying to check a lot of boxes in that speech? yes, it was that fiery broadside against donald trump. she called him consumed with grievance, but it was also something of an introductory speech trying to lay out the vision that she has for the presidency for so long, there's been this debate within the democratic party they. should focus their messaging on the threat to democracy, or whether they should focus on economic issues try and meet voters at the kitchen table. and i think this speech really tried to bridge that gap. it's essentially a distillation of the harris campaign's theory of the case that voters can hold these two issues in their mind at this same time and in fact but there inexplicably linked in every part of that speech last night was meant to drive home that message from the rhetoric and the language right down to the
4:04 am
visuals, you know, right there in front of the south portico exactly where donald trump spoke from on january 6. that image from that speech played in so many clips over the last four years really burned into people's memory. but it's also the crucible of american executive power. and she's really trying to portray herself as someone who has a different vision for the presidency into that. and she did tick through a number of policy issues in the speech, whether it's her plan to expand medicare for home health care, tax crime credits for homebuyers, trying to crack down on price gouging immigration, and earning a path to citizenship, trying to restore roe versus wade, but also during each of those moments, trying to draw the contrast with donald trump and saying what he would do if he were elected and returning to this idea of donald trump ticking through his enemies list while she is ticking through her to-do list and listen to a little bit more of how she framed that particular argument this is someone who is
4:05 am
unstable, obsessed with revenge, consumed with grievance and out for unchecked power. >> unlike donald trump, i don't believe people who disagree with me or the enemy he wants to put them in jail. i'll give them a seat at the table was an introductory speech are kamala harris, which is so extraordinary in the final week of the campaign, it gives you a sense of just how abbreviated her own campaign has been. >> she talked about what motivates her, what inspires her, what kind of leader xi would be that? that is the message that she will now take to nearly every battleground state in the week before election day today, she'll be in pennsylvania and north carolina, and wisconsin, all with the goal of trying to
4:06 am
convince what they call these concerned voters who aren't necessarily sold on her yet. but are concerned about donald trump's rhetoric that she is the candidate for them kevin liptak. >> oh, it's pleasure. thank you so much not on trump trying to refocus his campaign today as he is heading to north carolina now calling the madison square garden rally a love fest, and brushing off the storm of criticism that has come after that racist joke was told about puerto rico. >> donald, donald trump now calling it not a big deal, cnn's steve contorno is in north carolina ahead of trump's events today. steve, what are you expecting today last couple of days really lean into the immigration rhetoric that has been such a focal points of his campaign last night, he also responded to vice president harris's speech in a very late night, true social posts that coming up to 30 am saying, quote the speech was terrible, full of lies and nothing new.
4:07 am
>> where are the jobs? there are no now i will point out that the unemployment rate is 4.1%, 3.8% actually here in north carolina where trump will be speaking later today. donald trump also on social media, attempting to seize it's on president joe biden's in articulate attempts to poke fun at or criticize that joke about puerto rico and suggesting that his supporters are garbage trump responding by saying, quote, you can't lead america if you don't love the american people and the harris campaign and others have pointed out that trump has called harris has supporters the enemy of the people he has said her jewish supporters should have their heads examined so clearly he has a role in some of this rhetoric as well. he also yesterday continue to respond to that joe himself and we are now 48 hours afterward. he still continued to be forced to answer questions since about it. listen to what he told sean hannity last night about his view of what was said i've had
4:08 am
great relationships with hispanics, but i've had really great relationship with puerto rico on people from puerto rico, they love every time i go outside, i see somebody from puerto rico. >> they give me a hug and a kiss. who this comedian was. i have no idea. >> you wish he wasn't there yeah. >> i mean, i don't know if it's a big deal or not, but i don't want anybody making nasty jokes has stupid jokes, i probably shouldn't have been there plan just behind me and rocky count north carolina. he will also be in the swing state of wisconsin in green bay later today, kate rocky mountains, a good place. steve trump, look is looking like he's trying to lay the groundwork already to challenge the outcome of the election in pennsylvania, the election results in pennsylvania if he loses because he's already trying to stoke voter fraud fears where there isn't what does he telling his supporters just to put the claim out there and then what are the facts?
4:09 am
>> yeah. yesterday, donald trump in pennsylvania seizing on this news that in lancaster county, pennsylvania they there are reports there the allegations that there were 2,500 ballots, excuse me, registered voter registration cards where authorities said they found addresses that didn't matter. i have signatures that didn't match, and they are investigating. it's a sign of, in many respects, the process working that these people attempted to push through potentially fraudulent voter registration cards and instead they were caught and donald trump like i said, seizing on this news, suggesting that it's means that something on toward is already happening in pennsylvania. very critical battleground state. he just narrowly lost in 2020 and obviously they are trying to create this fear that's something similar, is going to happen in 2024 that he alleged happened four years ago. so just a sign of them already working a week out before the election to sew doubt. and with
4:10 am
the results that are gonna be coming a week from now yeah, the details on this just are easy to understand and matter. the investigation is into voter registration, as you say, this is no indication is anything to do with voting or ballots. >> steve contorno. good to see you. john alright. >> as you just heard, president biden tries to attack donald trump for the racist jokes about puerto rico at trump rally. but instead, biden is playing cleanup for his comments this morning. the u.s. calling an israeli strike that killed nearly 100 people in gaza, horrifying most. democratic county in all of the swing states this year, why some black voters there are not sold on kamala harris just yet at this time he's more lean into march to trump fired. and i'm leaning more towards the kherson, but i'm still trying to persuade him to come to the other side. >> and what is his objections? >> well, he does have some feel that like a woman in spirit for the job

4:16 am
john. well, as you can see from those images, i think this is a very active war zone. this area of the northern gaza strip, bet lahiya is the place it was meant to have been evacuated according to the israeli military, they say that evacuation orders for that area have been in force for the past several weeks. it's also a place where there's been very fierce combat over the course of the past several days, israeli military officials saying that four israeli soldiers, for example, were killed in close quarters fighting. there just yesterday. and so it's within that context that this strike took place. it's obviously been very heavily criticized by the united states, says it's deeply concerned. the united nations has expressed its condemnation as well, as well as other countries and that's because of the high numbers of casualties we're talking about, at least 93 people according to palestinian health officials, 25 of them according to those officials, are just children. there are heartbreaking scenes there as
4:17 am
people carrying bodies away from the rubble of that collapsed building. what's interesting though, i think one of the things that are emerging now as part of an israeli military investigation is what was it that led to the collapse of this building apparently, the israeli forces there had seen someone on on the roof that they believed was a hamas terrorists in their words, a spotter, they attacked or open fire on that individual and they didn't mean for the building to collapse, but it did and obviously causing these widespread casualties. but the mystery is, why were so many people inside? now it was meant to be an evacuated area. obviously, the palestinian say that civilians were taking shelter inside the building. but the latest coming from the israeli military israeli military investigation is that they're looking at the possibilities is according to my military sources, there, looking at the possibility that this could have been a secret gathering point for hamas fighters. it's not confirmed
4:18 am
yet, but it's something as a possibility they're looking at to explain why so many people were picked out of the rubble in a building that the israeli military say they had no idea, had anybody incited at all. and so that's something that's emerging right now, but it doesn't take anything away from the ongoing civilian toll being felt inside the gaza strip as israeli military operations continue and intensify, john. >> all right. important information there. obviously a lot more still, laura matthew chance in jerusalem. thank you very much. >> panda him thick merchandise, identity theft, the election-related scams that the fbi wants to make sure everyone is aware of right now and live on to fight another day, another game the yankees pull off a monster, come back and are now prepping for game five >> and it all comes down to this we can now make a major

it because what he says really, really matters. we're going to get to john big white. we'll get to it in just one second. but why didn't in the white house are moving to clean up his remarks. these were remarks that he was making following the racist joke about puerto rico that was told by a warmup act to donald trump at his madison square garden rally, joe biden talking about it, reacting to it during this get out out-the-vote call as political put today in apostrophe catastrophe, let's get to it. cnn's arlette saenz has more from the white house for it, for us, arlette donald trump was very quick quick to try to fundraise off of what president biden said. what are you hearing from the white house today well, kate, the white house is trying to clean up president biden's comments, which have created a political opening for republicans and a political headache for vice president kamala harris in these closing days of the campaign former president trump's campaign, immediately tried to seize on it, sending out a fundraising email saying,
4:32 am
quote you are not garbage. >> i love you. you're the best our nation has to offer. jd vance tried to directly tie this to vice president harris on social media, saying, this is disgusting. kamala harris and her boss, joe biden they are attacking half of the country. there's no excuse for this. i hope americans rejected now i want to play for you exactly what president biden said just last night when he spoke at a get out the votes of virtual event with voto latino and appear to refer to trump supporters as garbage. take a listen just the other day puerto rico, a floating island of garbage. well, let me tell you something. i don't i don't know the puerto rican that that i know or puerto rico where i'm in my home state of delaware they're good, decent, honorable people. the only garbage i see floating out there is his supporter's, his, his demonization citizen unconscionable. and it's un-american it's totally contrary to everything we've
4:33 am
done, everything we've been campaign has spent the last 48 hours trying to keep the focus on those comments that were made at a trump rally in new york city on sunday when a pro trump comedian had made this a joke that puerto rico is a floating island of garbage. >> instead, now, they are now dealing with president biden's comments. now, the white house really quickly tried to clarify this. they even released a transcript last night where they inserted an apostrophe in the word supporters there's a saying that he was referencing specifically those comments that were made up in new york and they took things even further by having president biden even post on his political account last night saying earlier today, i referred to the hateful rhetoric about puerto rico spewed by trump's side puerto at his madison madison square garden rally as garbage which is the only word i can think of to describe it, he added his demonization of latinos is
4:34 am
unconscionable. that's all i meant to say. the comments at that rally don't reflect who we are as a nation, but there's no question that this creates a real distraction in the closing days of the campaign, it immediately drew some comparisons to hillary clinton's remarks back in 2016 when she had referred to trump's supporters as a basket of deplorables now, it's unclear what exactly what kind of impact this could have on the overall race. but i will note president biden is often someone who has said that the words of a president because it didn't matter. this is a stretch of the election when every word, every statement, every mood is being closely scrutinized. and it certainly will likely be something vice president harris will face questions about today. even as the white house has tried to clarify the president's remarks arlette saenz. >> thank you. >> john all right. with us now, meghan hays, former director of message planning in the biden white house, and lee carter, former republican strategist, maybe i'll just ask you message planning as it were from the white house. why
4:35 am
doesn't the harris campaign? or do you think kamala harris should take this as an opportunity to say, you know what, i'm cutting him loose. that wasn't me. that was biden what he said there was ridiculous time to move on. >> i mean, i she hasn't talked to press today, which i'm sure she will do some do so at some point or address at her rally, but i do think this is an opportunity for her to say this is not how i feel. he made a mistake. he makes gaffes all the time. this is not how i feel. this is how i he shoe heard her say that last night that she wants a new way forward and a new way of leadership. and i think she is saying that in her speech that she had thank and let's not forget, we're going to sit here and compare comments that these people are making our, you know, donald trump literally called the entire country garbage can less than an hour later, like all of these comments are despicable, we should not be talking about this. an hour or 56 days before the election is his time to move forward into new leadership. and i think that the vice president will address that today. >> got it. now we as long as we're talking about what supporters of the presidential candidates are saying mike johnson, the speaker of the
4:36 am
house, was campaigning in pennsylvania in a house district and was talking about obamacare. i think we have this exchange. let's play it health care reforms going to be a big part of the agenda. >> when i say we're gonna have a very diverse hundred days agenda, we've got a lot of things on the table know obamacare no yes. >> daca is so deeply ingrained. massive reform to make this work. >> and we get a lot ideas on how to do that so he says no obama care says massive reform to the health care system. >> obamacare's pretty popular. now, is he touching a third rail advertently or inadvertently? currently there syllable alma care is very, very popular. >> but what is not popular right now is the cost of health care. and so i think if they were to be more clear about what it is that they're going to be doing to olga bob, i care this would be a much more effective message because everybody right now is going through re enrollment. they're looking at their premiums going up. there thinking about the
4:37 am
cost of prescriptions they're thinking about the cost of health care and when you look at that, you want to hear that there's going to be changed, so there's going to be improvement but i don't think that speaker johnson did a great job in conveying what it is that they're going to do. and i don't think donald trump has done it good job when he talks about his concepts of a plan rather than a real plan that he has on how to replace you think health care in general is the type of super important issue that it's been in past elections. >> i do not. now, when you look at the polling, kamala harris is much better on health care, then president trump does, but it's more like the fifth or sixth most it's important issue to voters. what is important to voters right now is the cost of things. so when you talk about the cost of health care, that's much more important, but really talking about the cost of goods, the cost of prescription drugs, the cost of insurance, all of that is what's top of mind for voters right now, making nikki haley, who is supporting donald trump, right? for president, was speaking to i don't know what cameras to look a little old over here. was talking to sean hannity and talking about
4:38 am
how she thinks the trump campaign is doing, listen i mean, that this bromance and masculinity stuff, it borders on edgy to the point that it's going to make women uncomfortable. >> you've got affiliated packs that are doing commercials about calling kamala the c-word, or you had speakers at madison square garden? you know, referring to her and her pimps that is not the way to win women alright, so that's pretty interesting. >> megan and haley also said that trump hasn't spoken to her personally since june. and as i said, haley says, she's supporting donald trump. that doesn't sound support div if you will. >> i mean, i think she is being a good republican surrogate for him. i don't think that this is a way to win women over. i think we seeing that in the polling, i think we're seeing that with people coming out and that the gender gap being so why i mean, she is in an interesting spot here because she is trying to tow the party line for on the policies, but
4:39 am
and not drawing the contrast to the character donald trump. so i think that that's, you know, she's trying to walk a fine line. i'm not sure she's doing it super successfully and i'm not sure people are buying it, but i appreciate that she is being loyal to the republican party. i just don't think that it's going to work with women in the electorate. >> do you think they targeting if you for the democratic party targeting those haley voters is still a fertile, is that still fertile? the ground for them yeah, i do think so. >> i do think that these comments that were made at madison square garden and the entirety of the campaign by the trump, by the former president and his organization are disgusting and despicable and i don't think women are buying into that and i don't think women appreciate it like nikki haley said, and i do think that these people matter and we have seen in the polling, we've seen mean in the research that's being done in these battleground states, these voters, he's undecided voters, these women, suburban women voters, are going to make the difference in the election. so targeting them in a negative way, it's not, it's not probably going to be the best answer for them, but we'll see on to say, you think trump ought to pick up the phone and talk nikki haley, maybe.
4:40 am
>> well, i think it would be great if they did, but i think that truth of the matter is having nikki, haley, and megyn, kelly, and others be critical of trump's bromance as they're calling it, saying it was to it makes them uncomfortable, but there's still going to support him actually helps because when you're a woman and you're a conservative and you're looking at this second yeah, i'm struggling. can i really vote for this guy? but it is about something bigger. and so i think think having them be real and saying we're struggling with this actually helps people say, you know what i'm struggling to, and that doesn't mean that i have to walk away from donald trump entirely so all in all, i actually think this is net positive for donald trump to have female surrogates actually be critical of him and say there's still supporting him anyway not quite sure. >> nikki haley can be counted as as surrogate depending on how she's talking about him. just based on what she's been saying. but i get your point. lee carter, meghan hays. thank you both very much there. >> all right. >> gas prices are on the verge of dropping to their lowest levels in three years, but will that be enough for americans to feel better about the economy as a whole? cnn's vanessa
4:41 am
yurkevich is in jersey city for us. you were talking to people about these low gas prices and about inflation. what have they been saying to you falling and we could see a national average below $3 for the first time in three years, just behind me, you can see gas is already below $3 to 95 a gallon here for regular gas, the national average as of yesterday because 3-13, that's fallen significantly from a year ago when gas was about through 50 but it's not quite where we were in october of 2020 before that election when gas prices were $2.14. >> but of course that was during a pandemic when people were not driving that much. but if you look at key battleground states in almost half of them, gas prices at the state average are already below $3. so we wanted to understand whether or not voters saw that as a factor in the economy, how they felt about it, and how they would be
4:42 am
voting. take a listen to some drivers we spoke to earlier this morning does gas prices mean the economy is doing well? >> no, no, no, really no. no, no, no, no because everything is going up. you know, and maybe the salaries can help maybe it's more, more tiny. they the salary and his heart below $3. >> what do you think about that? >> i was ready for lunch i'm basically on the road and it affects my income now with very low liam all happy. >> does that mean that the economy is in a better place i'm not sure about that yet because the cost of living it's high heard from drivers, sara despite the fact that gas prices then falling may still believe the cost of living is
4:43 am
too high. if you look at this year compared to 2021, on average, american families are paying 11 in hundred dollars more every single month compared to 2021. and for them, despite cheaper gas prices, it's still a little bit too expensive. and those gentlemen will be voting in this election and the first would not tell us who he was voting for. the second though said he would be voting for kamala harris, not because of the economy though sara, but because of her morals. sara and that's your kovich. the interesting to hear from people and looking at those great prices at the pump, but still having trouble with their personal economies thank you so much, kate. >> so starbucks is phasing out of menu item less than a year after its nationwide debut. sadly, it is not pumped can the spice. we'll get to it in the most democratic county in battleground, georgia, one of the most democratic counties in all of the battlegrounds. why some voters there? chris say they're still undecided decisive.

you by ora, like tracking things closely, track your sleep activity, stress, and heart health with aura ring for hitting battleground states today both going to north carolina, which as you can see, was a state that donald trump won in 2020. >> but of all the states he wanted was the state that he won by the smallest amount, 74 74,000 votes there, no democrat has won in north carolina since way back in 2008, it was brock obama before our machine could do math, i have to do the math myself here. he won by about 14,000 votes. so it was close. then what changed from 2008 when obama won to 2020 when joe biden, other democrats can't get over the hump this blows my mind. okay. i want to show you mecklenburg county. that's where charlotte is. it's the most populous county in north carolina. you can see back in 2008, barack obama won
4:50 am
mecklenburg county. i'm going to write this down 62% of the vote there mecklenburg county. he did well, there let's fast forward to 2024 years ago. look at this. joe biden did way better in mecklenburg county. he got nearly 67% of the vote in 378,000 votes. well over 120,000 more votes in this one county yeah, he still lost in north carolina. it's a similar story. if you look at wake county, which is where raleigh is, which is where vice president harris will be today, part of the research triangle you have do you have unc in this area here. you can see joe biden won 62% of the vote, 393,000 votes. that's a lot of votes there you go back to 2008. that's better than barak obama did. there so binded better in these democratic population centers. so how is it that he lost the state? i'm going to circle some of the areas here that barack obama
4:51 am
was down by fayetteville, a bunch of counties, their accounting here in the west, one here in the north these were obama obama counties in 2008. but look at 20:20 boom red, red, mostly red there. and you look at just this one county here, robeson county, donald trump got nearly 59% of the vote there in 2020, back in 2008, it was obama with nearly 57% of the vote. this mirrors a trend we're seeing a lot of states, certainly in north carolina, where you have red counties that get redder or you get counties that were right on the fence that are more rural, getting redder as well. so even when democrats do well in population centers, some of these red areas getting even more red, democrats can't risk ceding so many votes here they have to keep the margins as close as they can in the red areas. finally, i'm making the whole state move. i just want to show you the west here. this is the area hardest hit by hurricane helene over here. mostly read a lot of red counties, but it's not that they're all republican voters.
4:52 am
if you look at buncombe county here, which is where asheville list a lot of democratic votes there. biden won by more than 30,000 votes. there so both parties want to turn out the votes of the western part of the state. both parties have an incentive to make sure that the voters there can get to the polls. sara. >> all right. thank you, john. in georgia, clayton county is one of the bluest counties in all the battleground states. but this year some black voters. there are still torn between kamala harris and donald trump's, cnn's elle reeve was on the ground to hear their perspective election decision i've ever had to make. >> because i'm basing it off of not my personal self, but my just my core belief of who trump is inside is what's driving me towards kamala this is clayton county, georgia, just south of atlanta, where more than 84% of voters picked biden in 2020. that makes clayton the most democratic county in all this year. the swing state's 2021 by one it
4:53 am
was clayton county who turned georgia blue and guide by the president how are people turned out clayton county turns out we expect the same for kamala harris, almost 300,000 people live here and nearly 70% sit our black, the campaigns are fighting hard for these voters. >> kamala harris was just here with stevie wonder we spoke to people we'll at black owned businesses about what they were thinking in the last weeks before the election i'm really not into politics, but kamala harris, our movement, i will say i support two things that she said in his dorm, the $20,000 loan thing for the black entrepreneurs, i really liked that because it gives us a chance so you know? >> good our businesses up off the ground. and another thing is she's trying to legalize marijuana. has you know, a lot of us get locked up just for our congressmen like weed. it's a lot of synthetic weed out here. a lot of think we that's bad for us. >> you want it to be legalized
4:54 am
and regulated? >> yes. and what gives me the most this is bad in the south where it's mostly the african americans, black people now are here, but in other states, a union states and blue states where you want to call them is legalized who would you vote for if you do decide you know, maybe harris and why. so let's listen in to salmonella stuff that she's so far as far as like helping people. i'm being on helping. >> so why would you be under decided right now but i will have this because this will be my first time. >> yeah >> my mom. know they they've never done it, so the sound a little more in depth about harrison. we expected based on past voting here am i i'm going to be straight out with that's okay. it's only because there's two of the lesser evils. they're all bashing each other saying this and saying that.
4:55 am
>> then i take that and i go to the research when i researched and i'm like, what i do know one thing trump is so ball that if the aliens has come and he will tell you an independence day scenario. yeah, he would tell you to evacuate. >> he would just can't keep his mouth shut. >> what are your constituents saying about the election? >> a mixed bag of peanuts you get a lot of people that say, go kamala you get a lot of people say, i'm not into politics, then you even have voices say that i'm both well for donald trump, early voting numbers are really high. >> what do you think that means? >> i think that means people have something to vote for. i think that people are impassioned, embolden there decided to vote for something. i'm just hoping they're voting for kamala harris and we are house divided at this time. my husband he's more leaning towards the trump side and i'm leaning more for as the hair side, but i'm still trying to persuade him to come to the other side. >> and what is his objections? >> well, he just doesn't feel that like a woman is fit for
4:56 am
the job, so to speak what you get in tefe and they know we bringing this up now, i'm gonna be honest with during his time in presidency, a lot of money was flowing around yeah. >> you know what i mean yes. >> so that was kind of like my reasons hey, if you don't do that again, you know, we run that back. >> he does a lot of stuff for shock value just to get you look at i mean, saw loud, really be taking them as closely i'm, going to take my time with you know it's like the lesser of two evils type of wine topic of conversation has been the idea that some men don't want to vote for a woman president do you think that's a factor here that a lot. yeah. >> what do they say women are too emotional to run the country when you think of what do i think i'm married, he think i'm about to answer that
4:57 am
say? yeah, when they say that, jim the same thing i told you, i'm married. so and my wife or my household so you know what if they run the house like that, they could i believe i can do it i just thought about it i probably even one to run one presidency i believe that i never seen a president tweet so much out of emotions. so to say a female cannot run the country because of emotions. and then the person she's running against, stay on twitter all day reacting because of emotions, doesn't make sense. there are some men that are very much emotional. their emotions might come out in different ways. anger, rage, but it's still any motion if jassa, a woman can't run crapser because she's emotional, well, then he can't run a criteria because he's emotional and that's all we got a day like we got ten candidates to pick. we got one or two. so you want the emotional female? so to speak, when i say and i'm quoting
4:58 am
emotional female, since women are emotional, or do you want the emotional mental >> thank you to our elie. ready for that this morning, there is a warning aimed at you, the voter with the election just six days away, the fba says, watch out for scammers looking to cash in because they're targeting a lot of folks cnn, chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst john miller is joining us now. what is it that people need to be watching out for so they don't get caught well, this is nice coming from the fbi's internet complaint. >> internet crime complaints center. so a lot of this is that stuff that keeps coming into you? your phone and coming into your computer. and what they're really saying that people is there are these scams out here for example, there's the pool that's high, were calling from this campaign were raising money. we need it right now. but if you get in the pool early when we reach our goal and we exceeded your money is going to come back to you maybe with a premium. so if anybody
4:59 am
says that there is no pool. okay. that's a ponzi scheme. it's in the classic form of a pyramid scheme. it's getting early, you'll get no money is coming back and no such deal exists. there are fake political action committees, fake super pacs. there are things where you can order the gear, the hats, the fleece, the jacket of your favorite candidate where these things were set up yesterday and there is no merchandise and you send the money and it's never coming those are a lot of things that would attract people who are very into what's going on how can you tell the real calls from the fake ones real emails from the fake ones okay. >> so the first rule is slowed down, right? if this is coming into your phone, if this is popping up in your email box unsolicited, do you really know who's on the other end of this? so if you want to give to that candidate great. wind out of that message, go onto your internet, find their official websites see where it says
5:00 am
donate, and stop sending money so the mystery drop, that's one answer. the other answer is if anybody tells you you send us a campaign contribution and you're getting money back stop the things where the super pacs, they're actually more complicated that's where you really want to go on to the political action committee. that's listed on the federal elections commission website where they're there. but some of the shady are ones have made it onto the fec website. so you got to do a little research before you're sending money to these places and then when you look at this and when the fbi is seeing like who is getting targeted in who is getting caught in these in these scams? >> who's the, most vulnerable? >> well, one of the popular theory is, is that the elderly are the most vulnerable. we just did some great original reporting on cnn last week about people with dementia being targeted again and again who don't remember, they already gave who are going through their life savings but we find on scams like this
