president donald trump seizing on president biden's gaffes as the garbage controversy threatens to undercut kamala harris is closing we're on the trail with both campaigns and the fbi is warning that scammers are trying to cash in on the election using all sorts of schemes to steal money and identities plus vaccine denier, robert f. >> kennedy says former president trump has promised to put him in charge of the cdc and other health agencies if trump, is re-elected, the revelation has helped officials alarmed. we're following these major developing stories and many more all coming in right here to cnn news central
11:01 am
today, the north carolina and later they both had to wisconsin harris is also set to rally support and must-win pennsylvania, where new cnn polling shows a deadlocked race. while in these other blue wall states, michigan and wisconsin, the numbers find harris with a narrow edge just outside that margin of error but her campaign is now trying to distance itself after president biden it didn't made some comments that seemed to refer to trump supporters as garbage. >> here's how harris responded earlier today i think that first of all, he clarified his comments, but let me be clear. i strongly disagree with any criticism of people so based on who they vote for, you heard mike speech last night and continue with played throughout my career. >> i believe that the work that
11:02 am
i do, it's about representing all the people, whether they support me or not biden later clarified his remarks, saying that he was referring to a racist joke at trump's controversial rally at madison square garden. our correspondents are live on the trail following both campaigns for us. so let's begin with cnn's steve contorno, who is in rocky mountain, north carolina, where trump just spoke steve, tell us what he said addressing those remarks from president joe biden criticizing them in the way he has described trump supporters. >> take a listen what he just told this crowd said what he income law really think of our supporters he called them garbage
11:03 am
without question my supporters are far higher quality than crooked joe are lyon my response to joe and kamala is very simple. you can't lead america if you don't love american joe biden's comments were the direct result of kamala's and tim waltz trump went on to sit to say quite a few offensive things about vice president harris saying that she was a low iq individual, that she had the plans of a simpleton. >> they called the hur her and the people that she works with her quote, horrible people. so continuing to say pretty offensive things, even as he criticizes the way that he biden in articulately called his supporters garbage. the other thing that i've noticed in his remarks today as he's been really focusing on pushing
11:04 am
this idea why didn't she do the things that she is saying that she would do if she becomes president. and that really is his, his people tell me is the most pressing thing they want to get across to voters going into these final days is something that they had hoped to have made a bigger part of their campaign in the debate that geez to head and in their advertising and then the messaging that they have delivered. and instead it's been lost in the shuffle with all the other controversies that have come up. but it today in north carolina, he is really pushing that message. if she is the vice president, why hasn't she gotten done the things that she said she was going to get don we'll have to see what the vice president's responses to that then will be monitoring trump's remarks. seems like he's still going and still getting applause from the crowd. steve contorno, live for us in rocky mountain, north carolina. thank you so much. let's go to harrisburg, pennsylvania now with cnn's danny freeman, were harris is set to hold an event later this afternoon. danny, what else are we hearing from the vice president specifically in regards to what president biden
11:05 am
said the harris campaign clearly understands that >> it did not come at a good time and it's really not what the campaign wants to be talking about just six days before election day. you played it just a little bit earlier, boris, you heard vice president harris already distancing herself from those comments, saying that she strongly disagrees with criticizing people based on who they're voting for. >> we're also getting some insight into the campaign's thought process with some reporting from cnn's mj lee. >> one campaign adviser, telling her, frankly, we won't lose who's a single voter over it another former administration official saying, the biden gab yesterday is just so infuriating nobody wants him out there, so we will we'd see to see how much do we see a former president biden on the campaign trail in these final days based on some of those sentiments meanwhile, harris on the campaign trail today still is reaching a bipartisan ticket. that's the message of the campaign wants to get out there early in raleigh. she was
11:06 am
talking about the fact that she believes her ticket. a unity over country ticket, and we can expect that message continue into harrisburg, take a listen to what she said just moments ago and it is time for a new chapter where we stopped with the pointing fingers at each other and instead led us lock arms with one another, knowing yes. >> so much more in common than what separates us potomac here to harris campaign, really trying to push his miracle and sync message in these final days of the campaign. and i'll just note one thing about where we are right now. >> we're in kherson somebody as we noted, dolphin counties specifically, this is a blue county on it's going to be important for the harris campaign to run up the score here if they hope to win pennsylvania. but interestingly enough, there are a lot of red counties around here that have been trending more democratic in the past few years. so again, this areas one really to
11:07 am
watch come election night. boris and brianna, because this area of central pennsylvania really could be pivotable pivotal i should say, to who wins the commonwealth's boris brianna alright. >> danny, thank you so much for that report from harrisburg and for vice president harris, it may come down to that so-called blue wall, not just pennsylvania, but wisconsin, and michigan as well. and these three states could help her get to that 200 and 70 electoral vote votes. and three states that historically do vote for the same candidate. >> no, it's a very similar sort of group of voters. and today, new cnn polling shows the vice president with a narrow lead in two of those states, up five and six points in michigan and wisconsin respectively. still a deadlock with trump in pennsylvania cnn senior data reporter harry enten joins us now from new york with a new polling. harry, i notice you're not at the board again but he's got his yellow board and that's what matters. are you seeing any
11:08 am
trend lines in these key states, erin not really know. >> and i'll also just note i've even upgraded its and now i can say other things on there as well pennsylvania. pennsylvania, pennsylvania. look, if we look at the polling that we have out now you compare it to the polling that we had out back in august it's and those same states. there's no movement. it's the exact same picture. you know, you mentioned pennsylvania being a time michigan plus five. it was plus vi back in august. how about wisconsin plus six back then? plus six now, so there's nothing going on. this has been the same race basically now, for months on end you know, i told our colleague pint stout there. i've really kind of run out of ways to say that this race is too close to call, but that doesn't mean i'm going to stop trying, guys. >> okay. now, take it to the map, the electoral map yeah. >> so let's take it to the map because we show you those polls in those states and you go, wow, what the heck does that actually mean? so why don't we
11:09 am
do this? what we're gonna do is we're going to take the polling averages in the states in which we didn't have new polls today. and we're going to give michigan and wisconsin over the kamala harris and we're going to keep pennsylvania and yellow as a toss-up. this is how important pennsylvania, pennsylvania, pennsylvania is because if pennsylvania is a tossup, well, that means that no candidate gets up to 270 electoral votes. and that is why we've been concentrating on it so much at this particular hour, there's simply put no way to know who's ahead in pennsylvania. and because we have no way of knowing who's ahead and pennsylvania, we have no idea which candidate is actually favored to get over that 270 electoral vote mark. and therefore, this race remains too close to call harry, what does history say about how important these blue wall states are for harris? >> i mean, look, you know, i like jumping into that time machine as a brianna likes to say and look if we get in the delorean and we go back, when
11:10 am
was the last time a democrat won the presidency without michigan? again, you have to go all the way back to jerry ford back in 1,976. he of course was the republican nominee for president. he was from michigan, no wonder jimmy carter didn't carry it. how about wisconsin? you got to go all the way back since 1,960 for the last time a democrat won the presidency without carrying wisconsin and pennsylvania, pennsylvania, pennsylvania, you have to go all the way back to harry s. truman the first time my father ever voted in a presidential election, 1,948 to find a time that a democrat one without carrying the state of pennsylvania. the bottom line is this. we have been talking throughout this campaign that kamala harris is best path to the white house is through the great lake battleground states, through that a great big blue wall at this particular point that's still seems to be the case. and at this particular hour, she's one state short. if donald trump can go to pennsylvania, still that from harris than chances are he is going to be heading back to the white house. and i think i did pretty well with my yellow board here because this is all
11:11 am
you really do need to know that was fast fantastic in it really puts things into perspective. >> i should note harry, in a fact check that somewhere will make jake tapper smile pennsylvania, the commonwealth, it's a common is a commonwealth the commonwealth. >> you know what? i wish i could, but you know, why did some of these commonwealths have to be so difficult, can't they just be like the there are special harry, there special, just like u2 are just like you buddy harry enten, buddy. thank you so much bye we wanna discuss the implications of this polling and more with pollster and communications strategist frank luntz. frank, thank you so much for being with us and for bearing through that silliness harry enten. why do you think harris is up in michigan and wisconsin, but still in this deadlocked race in pennsylvania, i wonder what you're hearing from focus groups that might explain that but i'm not convinced that she's up in those states or where things are in pennsylvania. because in the
11:12 am
end, there are voter blocs that are still shifting and one that i focus on most for pennsylvania is organized labor union members, because they do vote, they do participate their particularly eager to vote this time if your government worker or a teacher's union member, you are voting for harris overwhelmingly but the people who worked with their hands, the teamsters, and the trades donald trump is drawing an unusual percentage among these people that not only makes him viable in some of these states, it could be the difference. the other group i'm watching are latinos well, we've seen a wide variety of polling there in some cases, harris is up by ten points and other polls i've seen it up by 22. that group matters in arizona matters in nevada, as well as in the industrial states. so you have to look at this by group for harris, nothing matters more
11:13 am
than 18 to 29-year-old women, if she can make them a higher percentage of the total vote than they normally make up. that's her road to victory for donald trump. it's key to him to ensure that his own vote turns out in record numbers because 2020 is not enough for him. he's got to do something that it hasn't done since 2016, which is that everyone who says they support him actually go out and vote and one last thing, the early vote right now suggests that the republicans are doing better now than they have in either the last two elections. i'm not convinced of whether that is cannibalizing the eventual vote on election day. but i tell you that it's got democrats worry this hell, because something clearly is happening out there yeah, they're seeing it in north carolina. i was just talking to someone there and there is some worry for sure. these polls that we're looking at here, and we're talking about frank. notably, they were done before president biden
11:14 am
made his comments, seemingly describing trump's supporters as quote, garbage the harris campaign is trying to do of course they are, but i wonder if you think that those comments are going to move voters it's going to be huge because this is not some comedian saying something stupid and offensive at a rally where he should have been just basically disinvited this is the president of the united states endorsing his vice president saying something and i know that there's different interpretations about what he said. >> it's still inappropriate he's still shouldn't be doing it and i've watched trump already sees this the basket of deplorables was significant, was meaningful in 2016 in 2024, i can promise you that this is going to drive trump turnout. he's doing it already. i can see i'm sure there's going to be ads on as soon as tonight
11:15 am
about this. this may be a turning point for those final 3% and that's all it is. who still need to be persuaded. now offer you guys something. we're gonna be talking to them over the next couple of days. if you want to do something on monday, the day before, focusing on these last persuadables i will tell you that trump offends them and they don't like him as a person. but harris scares them because they don't know where she stands and they feel that she hasn't been clear on some of the key issues. most notably immigration trump's got his weaknesses. harris has her weaknesses and they seem to be canceling each other out, which is why harry's correct this election is too close to call so there is an aspect to this new cnn polling. i wanted to get your thoughts on it continues to show a gender gap. harris, obviously doing better with women, trump polling higher with men in two of the blue wall states, you would
11:16 am
actually spoken to some men who previously voted for democrats, but now tell you they plan to vote for trump what is that about it's about feeling ignored, forgotten even betrayed. >> it's a feeling that harris has been very public about reaching out to women and no one can argue with that. look at her ads, look at the issues that she's speaking about, their issues that are meant to draw female voters to the polls are meant to influence those last undecided persuadables the men are more interested in prices. the men are more interested in immigration. women prioritize health care and they prioritize women's rights helped women's health and even in the ads, you see who she's focused on. so if it's okay for her to do that and charania soap with women that up to now been left out of the political process, then isn't it? okay for trump to surround himself with men who
11:17 am
feel like they are being left out, right now in the end trump has been very unsuccessful in reaching out to working women but this election may actually be determined by men in their 40s and 50s, who were democratic voters in 2016 and 2020. and simply feel like the democratic party is left them in the end, it's not that trump has pulled them in it's an harris has pushed them away frank luntz, great to talk to you. >> thank you so much for your perspective. >> it's a privilege. thank you and ahead this hour on cnn news central, house speaker mike johnson vowed know obamacare if trump is elected with millions of americans relying on the popular obamacare for insurance. >> is there? really a winning message? and the fbi has a warning about election scams. what you need to be looking out for, plus vaccine denier robert f. kennedy says trump promised
11:18 am

11:23 am
white house has refuted in fact, we just heard from white house press secretary karine john pier about this moments ago. >> let's listen so he was regarding to the comedian. >> and i quote, i referred to the hateful rhetoric about puerto rico spewed by trump's supporter at his madison square garden rally as garbage, which is the only word i can think of to describe it, his demonization of latinos is unconscionable that's all i meant to say. the comments the comments at the rally don't reflect who we are as a nation and to your question, your other question that you asked no, he does not do view trump supporters or anybody who who supports trump as garbage that is not what he views. >> if the president has said this for more than three years now, he has said multiple times that he is a president for all. >> it doesn't matter if you live in a red state. it doesn't matter if you live in a
11:24 am
blue state. he has said this themselves. i have said it on his behalf he believes that he's a president for all let's discuss the presidential campaign along with house race in new york's 19th district with the congressman represents that district, republican marc molinaro joins us now. >> congressman, thank you so much for being with us. we just heard donald trump responding to these comments. it's from president biden attacking biden and harris, suggesting that you can't lead america if you don't love americans, i just wanted to give you an opportunity to share your thoughts on what you think of this whole back-and-forth why i think first president biden's comments were both offensive and unfortunate at the same time. the people that i represent, the kind of tired of this, this rhetoric that that force is one half of america to feel like they're less worthy. the other half of america and with all due respect now, we watch the footage of the rally at madison square garden. one
11:25 am
of your competitors, msnbc actually had nazi rally footage playing over. good americans, new yorkers supporting their candidate. i'm the second most bipartisan member of congress. you don't get to that standard without working across the aisle. and i will tell you that the people i represent, they want us to work to get the job done for both without question, you can't be you can't you can't represent people if you think half of the people you represent are garbage, i certainly don't. that's why, by the way, i take issue and with my own opponent, it was a washington, dc a lawyer who just doesn't come out in the community to actually listen to voters and hear their anger and their frustration. and by the way, to some degree, the trail from those who treat them as second-class citizens. >> i do want to ask you, congressman about your race with josh riley, but first i want to clarify something and i should let you know. i'm not going to munich four. what any other network does. so i'm not going to respond to that portion of your response, but i
11:26 am
do wonder if you hold the same standard that you describe for former president trump because he has used all sorts of language to talk about democrats calling them human scum previous members of his administration have talked about the where that he's spoken about fallen service members. and even if you don't believe them you can just listen to what he said publicly about john mccain calling him a loser. he's described immigrants as being genetically defective, having bad genes that make them commit crimes. he's insulted cities like baltimore and detroit and milwaukee. he's called some disgusting i could go i could go down that list. i'm wondering if you hold the same standard for his rhetoric i call balls and strikes and i said even, even after the rally in madison square garden, i i didn't find the shock comedian fighting. >> i found his jokes offensive. and i think the people that i represent want us to cut through all of it and in the closing message cj, that we're all trying to obviously present to the people we represent and for me, it's very important
11:27 am
every american's worthy of a government that respects them. and i represent a part of the state of new york that knows what it's like to be overlooked, have policies forced on them by washington in albany without any concern for their wellbeing and do by the way yes specifically to my race, have a candidate who simply parachuted into a district, spent $25 million fabricating his own background and lying about mine, its offensive to people who see their tax dollars being funneled to those who've come into this country illegally, congress dealing from it for all goods. >> and i'll get to your race i promise you it will but you haven't specifically answered about president trump, former president trump, and the language that you condemn or that or do you condemn it? boris. >> boris, i call balls and strikes. the language is and is it appropriate? i don't refer to the people i represent that way. i don't think that anybody ought to and again, what president biden said yesterday, by the way, is only a week after the vice president of the united states on the front stoop of her residence,
11:28 am
the one that we pay for his taxpayers referred to the former president as a fascist. and again it wasn't, it wasn't your media outlet. you're channel is your station, but still the refer to good americans and new yorkers is participating in nazi rally is elected officials did from from new york city. it's just all inappropriate and why, by the way, for me, yeah. i don't think it's right and we ought to cut through it. we ought to be weaving together people in order to solve the problems facing the communities. and we serve is how i became the most hi partisan member state delegation. it's what are making money to the accusation of being a fascist that had come from some folks in former president trump's administration. i do want to point out that your congressional race, as you've noted, is a very tough one. you're seeking a second term. one of the most competitive districts in the country, one that trump won in 2016, joe biden won in 2020. when you look at the presidential race, how do you think it might
11:29 am
impact your race? because at the end of the day this is about turnout, right? >> well, it is. but again, as i said, i represent a part of the state that has seen policies admittedly crafted by democrats in the state capital that make us less affordable and less safe. >> i had an opponent who spent the last 20 years arguing the legal case to dismantle border security in bracing the very policies that it made us less safe and less affordable. >> and yeah, so residents that i represent start to begin to feel like they are second-class citizens. only a couple of months ago, the governor of new york a siphoned $5 billion of new yorkers tax money from schools, special education, athletics, services were veterans to house individuals have entered this country illegally in the city of new york because they embraced the sanctuary city policy. >> it's the same sort of underpinning that we're that you've heard all along. >> people feel like their government doesn't respect them and for me, whether you're republican or democrat, my job is to try to get this government to work for you and
11:30 am
for me, i work with anybody who wants to solve problems that face the people i represent. >> some folks who feel that their government forces rules upon them and they've made this clear through past elections and through, through current polling are women and specifically on the issue of abortion. now, you you've said that you would not support a national abortion ban. your opponent josh riley, says that folks should didn't trust you on that issue. i wonder if vice president harris wins. >> would you go along with her proposal to codify the protections of roe versus wade into law i want to be sure first that the laws in the state of new york are not, not diminished at all, and that i think is the first priority for me. >> i do not support a national abortion ban and i won't i'm the first republican to embrace and seek to sponsor legislation to protect both ivf and birth control in this country. and i remain committed to it and they also believe in expanding, as i have by leading the bipartisan coalition, access to care, so
11:31 am
that women have a quality care no matter the decision they make, i want to be sure that any action that's taken, i don't know that the senate can move on much of anything, but any action that's taken does not add all infringe on the rights of new yorkers. and that the law in the state of new york is protected and access and rights that are given new yorkers are preserved. >> and congressmen, a quick question before we go, how speaker johnson promised a group of republicans that if your party won, you would overhaul health care within the first hundred days, specifically saying, quote, know, obamacare with some 7 million new yorkers are enrolled in, would you support that now i'm not voting for a repeal. >> it certainly without ensuring that there is equal in greater access and i would say one last thing in that regard, hard you know, the aca makes it very difficult in particular for families with individuals with disabilities. i've been fighting to broaden access to sure. that those families that live with intellectual, physical, and developmental disabilities have broader access to both physical and behavioral health care. and i
11:32 am
want to see by the way, both the aca and private providers step up to the plate to provide adequate behavioral and mental health care congressman marc molinaro, we have to leave the conversation there just so you and our viewers know we are inviting your opponent. josh riley, a state lawmaker, to come on and give us his view of things. >> thank you so much for joining us. >> you're very welcome. thanks next, the fbi is warning that scammers are posing as candidates in an attempt to steal cash and victims identities were going to tell you what you should be looking out for political analysis. >> you have questions. >> how biden said the right both stayed away. why did trump pulled out of a 60 minutes? i love pulling out losing network of i got news for you saturday at nine and her once forgotten who runs this valley on remind them the only thing left to do is kill as much as she can before they kill. you don't

others to donate to because you'll get the money the back basically, this is in any campaign calling, this is a ponzi scam, a pyramid scheme. and they've seen a lot of that another is the scam political action committee. they say where this pac, we represent this cause. but they may not even exist. they're just getting you to send money to a portal where they can take it in and launder it. this is one of those things where you go to the fec website and you say, does this pac exist? and then you go to its web site and say, does it look real merchandise scams, you order the stuff you pay for it. the stuff doesn't exist in this stuff, never comes and the scam voter registration, this is a key one because this is when they call you up and say, let's get you registered to vote and they get all kinds of personal information which has nothing to do with registering for you to vote that's for identity theft. so there's a lot of these scams out there now yeah, that's terrible and also, i do want to mention something that happened here recently to pennsylvania voters instead of receiving a text stating that people were not registered to
11:39 am
vote last weekend, thousands of voters, they're received a text claiming that they had already voted and the organization behind these messages called all allvote, said that tax were meant to tell voters they'd already voted in 2022 that they should have directed them to a link with information about voting in 2024. but that, that all important in 2022, part was left out of the texts. john, how can people protect themselves from this other misleading election-related conduct? >> well, this is the kind of thing and you know, all vote is an organization we don't know a whole lot about. they say this was a mistake, but they've had other mistakes. states like north carolina, arizona, pennsylvania wisconsin have flagged them as unreliable, if not a scam. so this is one of these things where when you get something that looks like it may be an official thing, you're a registered to vote or your there's a problem with your voter registration. where they're coming from. is this from a government website? is it from the state secretary of
11:40 am
state's office? it is from the county elections commission. is it from somewhere where you can back out of that? that message circle to the official government website and check your own voter registration, which you can do the thing that people are taking advantage of. and i was just looking at my phone. i've got one of these coming in right here right now, which is from some pac saying, donate this money, $30.60 dollars, $100, $70. or you can sign up to donate. i don't know who these people are. it doesn't really say who they are. is back out of thing and first slowed down. then find the place that you're looking to give money to if you are looking to give money, go to the official campaign website or locate that your pac that pack yourself check it out, and then go through the front door. don't let people be coming in through your back door and saying, trust us, give us all your information and send money. >> yeah. >> very good. point. john miller. thank you so much. and next, we're going to head live to the middle east is a

states meanwhile, in northern gaza, the u.s. >> stage department now calling yesterday's devastating attack on a five-story building horrifying dozens of people were reportedly killed. and that included 25 children also happening today, israel striking the historic city of baalbek, which is in northeastern lebanon, in what the local governor calls into hence raids. cnn's jeremy diamond is live for us in jerusalem jeremy, i know you have some new reporting on the israel-lebanon war. what are you learning yeah, that's right, brown israeli, american and lebanese officials are indeed stepping up their discussions around the potential cease-fire between israel and hezbollah. >> and one of the centerpiece this is of those discussions has been the possibility of a short term ceasefire, perhaps at least a lasting a month between the two parties during which time they would ultimately negotiate a final deal to end the war between the two sides. and also to implement un resolution 171,
11:47 am
which led to the end of the two 2006 war between those two parties. that would of course involve the withdrawal of hezbollah forces. some 30 kilometers north of the israel, lebanon border, israeli officials believed that now is the right time for them to pursue these ceasefire negotiations after having achieved some really significant military gains against hezbollah over the course of the last couple of months, namely killing hezbollah's leader hassan nasrallah. and so now the question is will hezbollah feel similarly and clearly they have expressed openness to ceasefire negotiations for the time being, though israeli officials are also making clear that these negotiations that are happening now are going to continue you quote, under fire as one israeli official told me, and that's exactly what we've been seeing this week as the israeli military has really been stepping up its airstrikes in lebanon. today, we saw evacuation orders issued for the city of baalbek in eastern lebanon. this is a historic city where some 80,000 people
11:48 am
have been living. the city was ordered to evacuate and then hours later we saw a series of very intense airstrikes, some enormous fireballs resulting from some of those strikes. so clearly, israel is showing that even as it is willing to engage in these stepped-up negotiations with some top us officials set to arrive in israel tomorrow. they are also not going to let up on the military pressure alright, jeremy diamond live for us from jerusalem. >> thank you vaccine denier, robert f. kennedy says trump has promised him control and multiple health agencies. if trump wins, the white house will have that ahead 11 eastern on cnn. >> this is an important message for everyone on medicare right now, is the medicare annual enrollment period. >> and today we are talking about medicare they're part see commonly called medicare advantage. if you don't have a medicare part c plan call now, you may be eligible for plans in your zip code with

11:54 am
history of spreading false and misleading statements about the safety of vaccines. they warn we could see a resurgence of preventable diseases like polio and measles we've also heard from robert f. kennedy directly that he wants to gut parts of federal agencies. he tweeted on friday about the fda that they've quote, aggressively suppressed things like psychedelics, raw milk, ivermectin, clean foods sunshine, an exercise. he says, if you work for the fda and are part of this corrupt system i have two messages for you. one, preserve your records and to pack your bags. he has also talked about cleaning out the nih of infectious disease research. and so that sort of plays into these fears that public health experts have about the fact that we are still in the midst of many infectious disease threats. and if you get rid of these things things that really puts the entire country's public health at risk, guys. >> i really don't know what to make of his accusation that public health officials are waging a war against sunshine, but meg, i'm wondering there
11:55 am
are areas where experts actually agree with kennedy. what did they tell you? >> yeah, what's been really fascinating to look at how robert f. >> kennedy has been talking about his health care policies over the past few weeks is his make america healthy again, platform really focuses on chronic disease and not so much on vaccines. now, health experts, i've spoken with aren't convinced that that shows he is not focused on vaccines. they just think it's not politically popular issue. and so he's not talking about it. but in terms of things on food policy, focusing on ultra-processed foods, trying to eliminate conflicts of interests from government. i've talked with researchers who are sort of surprised to find themselves agreeing with these things. however, they say they are not convinced that robert f. kennedy we put these things into place. i talked with marion nestle, who is a leading food policy researcher and she said there's plenty of evidence from trump's presidency that public health, education and health care will suffer. so even if they come to the same conclusions, they're very skeptical that they are really on the same page and worried about public health. if
