8:00 pm
a perfect position, so everybody is waiting, there he is. actually he's going to head the department of the interior and he will be fantastic. >> that would be doug burgum, the governor of north dakota, he was a former primary competitor to trump but dropped out in december and he endorsed trump before the iowa caucuses , north dakota and south dakota governors both going into the trump administration if they can get confirmed and thank you for watching newsnight, laura coates live starts right now. you know they say in politics you are only as good as your word, donald trump made a whole lot of promises and gave his word during the 2024 campaign. remember this one? >> robert f kennedy cares more about human beings and health and the environment than
8:01 pm
anybody , and he is going to be, having him, it's such a great honor, i've been friends of his for a long time and i'm going to let him go wild on health. i let him go wild on the food. i'll let him go wild on medicines. >> look, trump is now trying to go wild on making that pledge good. he's picked rfk jr. as his health and human services secretary. rfk as you know, has been by trump's side since ending his own presidential campaign so i guess the reward makes political sense to them. but the issue here is that a lot of what rfk says does not make sense to the medical community. in the unfounded can test my conspiracy theories and the false claims about science, frankly, all of this -- >> i do believe that autism does come from vaccines. >> covid-19 is targeted to
8:02 pm
attack caucasians and black people. >> covid was clearly a weapons problem, wi-fi radiation does all kinds of bad things including causing cancer. >> some of these mass shootings we are seeing in this country may be related to these new class of drugs. >> to be absolutely clear, there's no evidence of any of what he's described but it's got the medical community worried, perhaps for that very reason because if rfk gets confirmed, he will oversee the 13 agencies under the hhs from the cdc to the nih, the fda, the centers for medicare and medicaid . now look, you heard
8:03 pm
a lot about this but no one person is one-dimensional and that obviously includes rfk jr., he's gained a lot of support for saying that he wants to cut corporate influence in healthcare which might explain why vaccine makers are also freaking out, you know their stocks, actually tumbled after the rfk announcement. he also said that he wants to improve our food by getting rid of chemicals and also additives, and he wants to make americans healthier by combating chronic disease. the thing is, he's got no experience running a vast government department or for that matter needed neither does pete hegseth or tulsi gabbard or matt gaetz. trump wants all of them to breakdown the bureaucracy that they are being asked to run, which gets me to another saying, don't let your mouth right a check that you can't actually cash will trump be able to do that? senate
8:04 pm
republicans will need to confirm these pics although some more so than others and trump is all but telling those republicans, go against me, if you dare. joining me now, democratic governor of hawaii, josh greene, he's also a physician and also here is the director for infectious disease research and policy at the university of minnesota, michael osterhome, thanks for being here. let me begin with you, governor, you have pretty strong feelings about rfk jr. as hhs secretary particularly after an experience you say you had with a measles outbreak? what happened? >> thank you for having me. we had a terrible experience, in samoa, rfk went and rallied the country against vaccinations when there was a measles outbreak that resulted in the deaths of 83 innocent children,
8:05 pm
you see pictures of me vaccinating people there. basically what he did is he scared the country away from vaccinations, and measles will kill young people, it cost 5000 additional cases, and i was contacted by the prime minister of samoa, to come in with a contingent of medical nation workers from my state, hawaii, to vaccinate people and we vaccinated 36,000 people , to basically stop the measles. but it was too late for 83 children. we went into one vigil village and a child had just died and was still warm and we had a funeral service for that child and then vaccinated their 7 to 8 siblings and we went to the next village. that's what rfk did and it he is confirmed as the hhs secretary, he will cast doubt on vaccination programs across america meaning thousands and millions of people will consider not getting vaccinated, we will not have herd immunity and physicians like myself and pediatricians and other healthcare providers will see
8:06 pm
cataclysmic spread of disease, so, he is the worst possible choice for hhs and i hope the president will pull his name back. >> we will see what the senate says, i should say rfk jr. said that he quote, had nothing to do with people not vaccinating in samoa and he never told people not to vaccinate. i know you have a very different experience but he has denied those allegations. i want to bring in michael in this, because rfk jr. has said that no vaccines are safe and effective and also said that i'm not going to take away anybody's vaccine, trying to reconcile the two, perhaps would be had spitting but here's what trump's transition cochair says kennedy really wants. >> he wants the data so he can say, these things are unsafe, he says if you give me the data, all i want is the data and i will show that it's not safe and if you pull my
8:07 pm
ability, the companies will yank these vaccines right off of the market, let's give him the data, i think it be cool to give him the data and see what he comes up with. i think it would be pretty fun. >> pretty fun? okay let him get the date, is the harm in doing that? >> first of all let me be really clear, the data that he's talking about is unclear to all of us because the data that you need to use to assess the safety of this is already in the public domain, it's not something that you have to request or take a look at, this has been one of the problems with vista kennedy's approach to what we call science, and in his words, it's a fact that he consistently mixes up messages, he mixes up different disease problems and trying to follow him and understand what he's talking about is like nailing
8:08 pm
jell-o to the wall. we can't have that kind of science, you can't agree on mondays, wednesdays and fridays that gravity works in on the other days it doesn't, and that is one of the real challenges in trying to direct a response back to the comments that he makes. >> the data does imply that it's not accessible which might surprise a lot of people. but it's publicly available, let me go back to you because a fellow governor, jared polis said that he was excited, his words, excited by the pic and while he's not into vetting vaccines, he praised rfk for wanting to make food healthier and regulate pesticides, what do you say to those who think that he could do some good? >> first of all, i was with jared today throughout the day at the governors association meeting and we talked about this. jared is worried about what rfk would do over vaccinations. whether or not
8:09 pm
rfk gets to do anything else, who knows but this is a gentleman who has absolutely no training in public health, no experience, nor does he have experience in bio pharmacological processes either, he's a quack scientist. it's obvious. and mr. trump is doing this to be provocative. now tearing down government when children's health is on the line is not okay. i was disappointed in jared, who is one of my favorite governors but it is not okay, it's not okay to do what he did to cast doubt on processes that are well-established in science. it makes parents scared. when parents are scared, they don't take action, if people freeze and we lose 10 to 20% of our vaccination rate, you will see disease spread widely across america and you've got a lot of children who are too young to be vaccinated who will be vulnerable when the disease spreads. you will see polio come back and outbreaks of measles and mumps and
8:10 pm
chickenpox. all of these things don't sometimes kill you, they also will cause serious neurological damage when children are ending up with infections because they couldn't get immunity. look there will be different opinions, the only physician governor in the country, i actually had to cross paths with rfk, he has now lied about what he did in samoa, where he discourage those individuals from getting vaccinated and it's very dangerous. we've seen a lot of this misinformation from the trump universe on many levels. but this is our children tell, this is not a political thing, this is your kids, and so when republicans go to vote, i pray that they will not allow this gentleman to be confirmed. >> what you described is daunting as a mother and obviously a person in this country thinking about this and just knowing the vaccination process that you go through for your children to go to school and beyond. it's terrifying, frankly, to think about what he's describing. if you were advising senators for the confirmation hearing, what kind of questioning would you encourage them to focus on? >> first of all, we have to
8:11 pm
recognize the seriousness of the situation, the governor did a great job of laying that out but let me just add one figurative and makes -- to the mix, we have detailed studies, in the past 50 years of vaccines being available, we've saved over 124 million lives, that is six lives for every minute for the last 50 years. if i were a senator asking questions, i would want to know exactly what data are you citing to say these vaccines aren't safe, what are you stating to imply that it's a health problem that is being caused by things other than vaccines, and i think the challenge we have right now is basically, making sure that people don't walk away with what he purports to be facts, which are the real science facts. >> really important conversation and a really important moment for our nation, thank you both so much for joining me. >> thank you. >> thank you.
8:12 pm
joining me now, national political reporter for the bulwark, mark caputo, good to see you, president-elect trump giving rfk jr. a shout out tonight but with a little humor, listen. >> and i just look at the news reports, people like you, bobby, don't get too popular, bobby. >> i mean, trump telegraphed his pick weeks ago, was there any resistance to it in trump world and by the way, do you think you know what trump meant by don't get too popular. >> i mean, donald trump is the belle of the ball, he likes to be the center of attention, so i think he is riding rfk jr., and he's also a little envious of the attention that he got. i'm not detecting any major opposition to kennedy, getting this appointment or this nod from donald trump, he had
8:13 pm
telegraphed this on the campaign trail for a while, as you mentioned earlier, the campaign cochairman or the transition cochairman had just a few weeks ago on cnn said that kennedy would not be hhs secretary, so if anything this was a shot across the bow to the transition cochair, to let him know that donald trump is the guy who is calling the shots, he is the guy who drives this trade and he was the one who told me look, whatever you want, you can get. he said i want to be hhs chair and trump said okay, deal, done. >> well, you also have reporting on how the matt gaetz nomination came about, what did you learn? >> that donald trump had spoken to a number of attorneys, and all of them had approached trump as if they were applying in the words of one advisor, for a judicial style appointment, they talked about the law and high-minded theories of the constitution. it was matt gaetz who told him
8:14 pm
and i am paraphrasing, i will come in there and cut some effing heads, he not only has donald trump's back, he's not only the lawyer and the politician is perhaps one of the most eloquent defenders and advocates for an of donald trump, but he's also the one who's been investigated, five the department of justice, just like donald trump has. and he shares donald trump's believe that there is a deep state, these are their words, not mine, and the department of justice needs to be overturned and people need to be fired and the investigators need to be investigated. a gaetz confidant told me after the announcement of his appointment that quote, the hunters are now the hunted, and i think that is what you are going to see if matt gaetz does become the attorney general. >> on that question, you report
8:15 pm
that matt gaetz was one of the people that made the case for trump to push the candidates to allow for recess appointment. how serious do you think trump is about pursuing this particular route ? >> i think trump is serious about all of these nominees, they are not only about the people that he likes and the people he thinks could do a good job and for donald trump, part of that means doing shaking up the establishment, taking on the existing order, it also means getting what he wants, in donald trump's mind, he won a historical election and won a larger share of the popular vote that any republican has a long time anyone it with a multiethnic, multiracial coalition that spans the economic ladder, that's people who are relatively poor and very wealthy people, so he feels he has a mandate, and it's the job of the republicans and the senate to approve that mandate,
8:16 pm
so yes the senate is supposed to advise and consent but what donald trump hears is consent, not advice and he wants them to consent to his pics because he is the boss and in his words, or better said in his mind, the republicans and the senate essentially work for him. >> mark, i continue to wonder if everyone has the same definition of what the mandate really is, voters and trump elect, thank you so much for joining. the big question of course, is whether the accusation against gaetz could play a role in seeking his chances of confirmation. i will ask huntsman nancy mace that and more, next. later, the hype building for what? the epic showdown between mike tyson and jake paul, what could set the tone for tomorrow?

plus ask how to get up to a $500 prepaid card. call today! the next stop for trump's cabinet picks, congress, but for some choices, their confirmation is frankly far from certain, even the newly elected senate majority leader understands that. >> you think matt gaetz can get through? >> i don't know the answer to that just yet. there certainly are some skeptics but he deserves a process. >> rfk jr.? >> they deserve a process, yeah. >> there's a theme here, joining me now to discuss trump's cabinet picks and those who deserve the process, congresswoman nancy mace from
8:22 pm
south carolina. good evening to you. i want to get your reaction tonight to trump nominating rfk jr. as the health secretary. >> well, i support rfk jr. as health secretary, i have met with him and i think he's very intelligent on health issues. i think we have a lot to address from the kinds of chemicals in our food, that's really important to me as a mom and seeing the effect that it can have on folks and their fitness and their health and cancer, et cetera, and i support donald trump's, all of the folks that he wants to appoint, this is a man who received a mandate last week and he overwhelmingly won the popular vote and won all seven swing states of this is the process for him to install people he believes will support his agenda for the country. >> it is absolutely his prerogative to install the cabinet of his choosing but let me dive deeper into rfk jr.,
8:23 pm
many people who may be unfamiliar with the scope of his views are familiar with his views at least on vaccines and his claims have largely been debunked but trump did not rule out allowing him to ban some vaccines, could his vaccine skepticism not only stall his confirmation but possibly put some lives at risk? >> i can't speak for the senate and who will support rfk jr. or not, i can tell you, i was vaccine injured with the second covid 19 vaccine, i have asthma, tremors in my hand, and i was doing what i thought was the right thing to do and now my health, it's never been the same, i'm very asthmatic this evening, so i'm okay with someone who wants to ask questions, i don't think we should just take everything we hear from big pharma as the
8:24 pm
answer, i think it's good to have someone that will ask the right questions when these things are being pushed on the american people, they ought to be tested and make sure that they are safe. i've never been the same since healthwise from the second vaccination from covid. so i share a little bit of skepticism for some of that but i want to make sure that when i vaccinate my children that they are getting something that is safe and is not going to have a detrimental effect like it has had on me in the last 2 to 3 years. >> what do you say to those who look at the science that suggests that the vaccines are perfectly safe, obviously you had your personal experience, what is your stance to the american people about the safety of vaccines? >> i've spoken to a number of people, and we've had hearings about vaccine issues and censorship by the federal government. i've spoken to other people who were vaccine injured, so i know i'm not the
8:25 pm
only one. and i have dealt with this issue now for three years, and i want to make sure that whenever we are asking people to get a vaccine that it is safe and they are not going to have long-term effects like i have. i have been vaccinated with other things without any injury, so we know that most of them are safe but sometimes there are vaccine injuries and people want to know is the risk .5% or is it 5%, what is the risk that they are taking, those things are important to the american people. >> i will be curious to see what percentage of the confirmation process will be on that issue. let's get to the wall street journal, they called trump's pick for attorney general, matt gaetz, a performer, provocateur and someone who seeks attention. he's been criticized for his lack of experience in this particular space. do you support his appointment? >> i support all of donald trump's appointments that he is seeking including matt gaetz. this is someone who's been very good on civil liberty issues, he's good on cannabis,
8:26 pm
he's someone that believes in the constitution and i believe that is important when you are looking at who is going to lead in that department and also, trump has also appointed other folks including attorneys as well to support matt gaetz and i support all of the individuals that trump is putting forward today. >> curiously, you want to have the opportunity to ask questions and have people challenged, but you are giving a carte blanche of sorts to donald trump, you don't have any questions about the process or concerns about any of the appointees? >> there's a process of checks and balances, you said earlier tonight that the senate majority leader said there is a process, there's a rigorous process and all of these individuals would have to go through this. and that's good for everybody in this country, and there is the checks and balances and that's why there's a senate confirmation
8:27 pm
process and we will all get to see it live on air. >> you know the house ethics committee had been investigating gaetz for allegedly having sexual relations with a 17-year-old minor and using illicit drugs, he has denied this and republicans cancel tomorrow's meeting to discuss the report. do you have concerns about these allegations or the role of the american public knowing this? >> i have concerns with the media being judge, jury and executioner. this is an individual that the doj investigated and decided not to pursue charges, so when we are talking about civil rights and civil liberties and giving someone that opportunity, innocent until proven guilty, i've been accused of a lot of things that ended up being completely untrue. he will have his say going through the process, and he will discuss any questions that he's asked.
8:28 pm
>> said that report be released from not the doj of course, they did not pursue charges but it was the house that was looking at this. should that report be released? >> the rumor i heard was that they are going to put it out there anyway. so i wouldn't be surprised if you had in your hands by the weekend. >> trump also has a pick for the defense secretary, pete hegseth, facing backlash for saying the u.s. should not have women in combat roles, you were the first female graduate of the citadel, are you offended by that statement? >> i'm not, the left wants to say let's follow the science and if you are in a combat situation, i believe that women should be in combat as long as the physical standards are the same. when you are going to give your life for your country, you want to make sure
8:29 pm
that physically, everybody is the same but we've got female combat pilots that are out there that are able to do the job very well, i think he is referencing like infantry and that kind of thing but we've got women out there who are putting their lives on the line for our country and the standards should be the same for men and women. >> i'm unaware of him making that nuanced argument, it seemed to be more blanketed, you think there should be roles -- >> i interpreted it that way. my father is an infantry man and he and i have talked about that. we talked about the differences, physical differences and what combat is like, i don't think he was saying hey, women that can fly f-18's shouldn't be flying them anymore. i read it to be, those that are on the ground, in the trenches, it's a different experience, i've never experienced that and i can't speak to that but our soldiers who have, certainly
8:30 pm
can. >> that's what the confirmation process should be. congressman nancy mays, thank you for joining us. >> thank you, laura. >> one of trump's friendlier tabloids is giving him a rare rebuke for his choice.
8:31 pm
8:32 pm
8:33 pm
8:34 pm
8:35 pm
tonight, donald trump giving people a peek of who he will choose next for his cabinet, saying he will name the north dakota governor doug burgum as the interior secretary tomorrow. sly stallone, we spoke at mar-a-lago during a gala tonight with trump in attendance. >> when george washington defended his country, he had no idea that he was going to change the world. because without him, you can imagine what the world would look like, guess what, we've got the second george washington, congratulations! >> second george washington. joining me to discuss, republican strategist matt gorman and keith boykin, thanks
8:36 pm
for joining me, matt, we begin with you, the new york post editorial board said tonight that rfk jr. is a bad choice as health secretary because of his embrace of conspiracy theories and their warning, that he leaves a lot of room for things to go wrong , and for people to wind up harmed or even dead. this is the paper that's owned by long time trump allied rupert murdoch. will trump listen? >> we will see. i get it on my doorstep every moment -- morning, it has a lot of circulation down in palm beach, you get it like you would up in new york, so this will be an influential thing. we will see, a pick like kennedy is where the rubber meets the road. gaetz is controversial for separate reasons but a guy like kennedy, trump is open about campaigning with him and obviously as you know, they
8:37 pm
floated him quite a bit, so folks like susan collins and others, it'll be a tough decision for them. >> it's not as shocking as those who have not done any kind of shortlist but rfk jr. garnered support from voters across the political divide in part because of concerns about the nation's health but what do you say to people who believe that rfk could in spite of all that we've listed, be a beneficial change? >> beneficial to whom? i mean rfk jr., he's not a doctor, he's not a scientist, he's not a health administrator, he's not a government administrator, he has no experience for the job, the only thing we know about him is that he is a conspiracy theorist with a famous last name. does that make him qualified to run the department? of course not. but the whole point of the decision like so much of trump's
8:38 pm
decision to simply to appoint these people for the purpose of shock and all because they are loyalists, trump once people that are loyal to him above all else. regardless of whether they are qualified for the job or do the job they're supposed to. he wants us to get so caught up in the absurdity of it all that we forget about the corruption. he's putting people to serve corporate interests, that's what's happening below the smokescreen, i think we should be concerned about that because it bodes poorly for the future of our democracy. >> matt, what is your reaction to that? >> you see the hhs secretary who has not qualified any respect, democrats have gone after him for not being qualified. i'm anxious to see what happens with this because again, trump has been open about this, i'm not surprised of the sort of thing, susan collins, whose up for reelection, this could be a difficult vote for her, lisa
8:39 pm
murkowski, tim tillis and others, this will be a confirmation hearing that i'm excited to see what happens. >> do you think that is an appropriate parallel? >> i mean he is a warmer member of congress who has experience in the federal government, rfk jr., we would need be talking about him as a candidate if he didn't have a famous last name, let's be honest, the guy has no qualifications for the job, let's cut out all the bs and let's get real. trump doesn't care about government, he's using these people to help dismantle the government. he wants to protect himself and he wants to make sure that he can do whatever he can to escape any accountability for his own crimes and behavior and
8:40 pm
he wants to create an open playing field for contract #corporate interests, to run rampant across the nation and do what they want with no government regulators . >> math, respond to that but i also want to dive into one of the other people, who are on the list now to face confirmation and that is matt gaetz and charlie kirk from turning point usa, he is warning that republicans, if they voted for malik -- garlands confirmation and won't vote for gaetz, they will face a primary challenge. is that a real possibility that they might find persuasive to those who are facing that prospect? >> we will see, again, this will be a harder vote even for some, i would even say rfk, you are starting to see that on the hill, you are seeing cracks in the last six hours. look, at
8:41 pm
the end of the day, folks aren't stupid, this is a win-win for gaetz, by resigning congress, he is saying confirming, i'll be the attorney general but if he doesn't, he's out of congress but he is likely to be rumored to go run for governor of florida anyway and he can run as a martyr who republicans railroaded in the process. in some ways, it's a win-win for gaetz but i think it'll be a harder confirmation for him and it will be for kennedy. >> keith? >> i mean, maybe, it is a win-win for him but i can't look at this as a cold political calculation. i'm looking at what's in the best interest of our country and appointing matt gaetz after accusations of sleeping with a 17-year-old and child sex trafficking, accusations of showing an inappropriate sex video on the house floor, misusing campaign funds for personal expenses, after all that and ethics report that is supposed to come out tomorrow, that he's been quashed, just
8:42 pm
because he resigned in the nick of time, it's the height of irresponsibility, to appoint someone like this to join the justice department but donald trump does this for two reasons, one because he wants to shield himself from responsibility, appointing matt gaetz means he has a loyalist there to defend him no matter what and the others because he wants to dismantle the department itself so it doesn't go aft to people who commit crimes like this, the corporate buddies and the fatcats. he wants to go after his enemies and that is a threat to democracy. >> that would be the true irony of all of this, if this issue is with the weaponized government, well, weaponized and the government would be exactly in that vein. thank you both. look, it's either the fight of the century or the biggest boxing circus ever, mike tyson taking on jake paul, 31 years between them and by the way, tens of millions of
8:43 pm
dollars on the line. does iron mike still have it in him? i will ask, next.
8:44 pm
8:45 pm
8:46 pm
8:47 pm
i presume that mike tyson is watching this right now. anything you want to say to him? >> mike, i love you but this is my sport now. it's an honor to get in the ring with you. you are a legend but i'm going to take your throne, brother. >> there's a fundamental difference between me and jake, he's a man of, television made him a killer, he's manufactured, i'm a natural born killer but that's the
8:48 pm
difference. >> that's 58-year-old mike tyson, he's been training for tomorrow's fight against 27-year-old you tuber turned boxer, jake paul and tyson is ready to go, from the way and until now. >> ladies and gentlemen. >> this is how jake paul responded . >> i didn't even feel it, he's angry, he's an angry elf, i thought that was a cute slap but tomorrow you are getting knocked the [ bleep ] out. he hits like a [ bleep ] >> look, jake paul is no amateur, he's got a 10-1 record and is known for a powerful overhand right, just watch this knockout against tyrone whitley . aside from
8:49 pm
paul's fighting skills, he happens to be a master troll. >> i'm not getting my shit bit off on friday. i've got my diamond spikes on there. >> frankly the trolling seems to be working because all eyes are on this fight, it'll be streamed live from netflix, the capacity for the venue is 80,000 seats. i want to get right to jones, host of the right time, good to see you, it shows paul with a 64% chance of winning, 31% for tyson, who do you got winning tomorrow? >> it ain't us, this is a farce, i don't know how anybody can say they have any idea who is going to win the
8:50 pm
fight because on one hand, jake paul has been in these fights but he doesn't fight against boxes, he will fight former basketball players, mma guys but he hasn't gone against a boxer but on the other hand the dude he's fighting is 58 years old and maybe it's generational, i struggle to believe that jake paul can beat mike tyson, it's the hardest thing in the world for me to believe. and it's really difficult to believe that a 58-year-old man will go out there and win a boxing match. i can't believe this is real life. >> oscar de la hoya gave a prediction, listen to what he said. >> you are fighting a mike tyson that only has a chance to win in the first three rounds because he's 60 years old, jake paul is a young, strong fighter who is now becoming dangerous, who is becoming experienced in the sport. one punch from jake paul could
8:51 pm
easily knockout mike tyson. we have to be honest with ourselves, so i just wish that everybody comes out healthy, especially because tyson, being 60 years old . >> i think you 58, first of all that new york magazine reported that tyson almost died preparing for this fight. is he up for it, going past that three rounds? >> i would find that to be somewhat unlikely, i'm not sure how long he had that fight against roy jones but that's a reasonable thing for him to say that it's going to go early but what shocked me is that oscar de la hoya is treating this like it's in actual factual boxing match as opposed to the carnival show that it is, i would expect it them , personally if i were mike tyson i would be trying to get that
8:52 pm
taken care of quickly. i would think that i could knock his head off if i were mike tyson. >> the fight is eight rounds, two minute rounds, 14, a normal professional boxing match is 12 rounds, each round lasting three minutes, so the same rules aren't applying, why do you think it maybe the reason is just money but why do you think they both have agreed, particularly mike tyson has agreed to do this fight? >> i think for jake paul, he can print money off of these fights, he's got a number of people who want to watch the fight and with tyson, i don't know what his financial situation is but he has not
8:53 pm
been a man that could turn down the opportunity to get some money. what i think makes this appealing to the public, i did a show for hbo where we did something on jake paul and one thing that became very clear about jake paul is, there is a generation of people who have children who consume jake paul's content and you remember when you were younger and you have that one friend that your parents that was a little too stupid to be hanging out with you but you didn't realize that you are parents hated that friends got and jake paul is that friend to a generation of kids and their parents, who grew up watching mike tyson would really like to watch mike tyson knock jake paul's block off. i'm not saying it's wrong but i'm saying there's a generation grown people who have spent a lot of time seething at the idea of jake paul and that's the only reason i can figure there's so much interest in this fight. they hope that he can be the one to knock jake paul down. >> i mean, you may not be wrong, i can't wait to see it and then your reaction to it. thanks for joining tonight.
