of us. >> reporter: i would have come anyway. who gets two 23's, surely no one won but it was in baltimore county. we're standing outside the maryland lottery headquarters, we don't know what store sold the ticket, but we do know that store is going to get $100,000 bonus, just for selling the ticket and that is of course in addition to the money they get from normal ticket sales which skyrocketed, they get five cents on every dollar, that is a big chunk of money for that store. >> this is a lucky store, do you know about the history? >> reporter: we don't know the store we'll find out hopefully later today, once we find out we expect to have possibly some sort of pressuer at the store. the lottery spokesperson the winner in maryland hasn't come forward, not surprising, considering the size of the jackpot. the winner in maryland is not

required to take part in any sort of media events, so we might not ow the winner for some time. officials here do tell us they believe there is more than one winner so that person will likely have to split their winnings with other states but still waiting to hear what other states may have had winners. we know in the state of california at least 29 people got five of the six numbers correct. they are secondary winners, won't have to share the big jackpot but supposed to get we hear from the state lottery spokesman in california they will get between $125,000 and $130,000 winnings. pretty good chunk of change for them, too. >> that is a good payday. i bet they go to work, too. athena jones, thank you very much. clyde anderson joins me at 6:15 eastern, he'll teach us how to handle that $640 million fortune or a whole lot of money if you happen to have it. hackers setting their sights on credit and debit cards, ten

million people could be at risk. global payments the company at the center of the breach notified issuers, did not say which companies were affected. visa said all brands were involved. both visa and mastercard say they notified customers about accounts that could be proposal pro missed. discover and american express are watching. the people calling for justice in the trayvon martin case head back to the streets of sanford, florida, a march kicks off a couple hours from now. the department has been heavily criticized for not arresting martin's shooter george zimmerman. in an interview, pam bondi defended the process so far. >> you don't want make an arrest too soon. we need justice but you don't want to make an arrest without having all the answers, they will conduct their

investigation, as fast as they can because they know we need answers. and the family wants answers. and that will be done in a timely fashion but also in an ethical way. >> george howell is tracking the developments in sanford this morning. george, tell me who will be at today's event? >> reporter: randi, good morning. this event today, this rally and march hosted by the naacp, the president will be part of the event. starts around 11:00, will end at the sanford police department, starts at crooms academy, we are expecting thousands of people, randi, some bused in. the message is simple, to arrest george zimmerman. keep in mind there are other groups, national action group, that hosted by al sharpton who is saying the time may come to take it to the next level, possible economic sanctions in the event that zimmerman is not

arrested, randi. >> george, just a few days ago, george zimmerman's brother spoke with cnn now we're hearing from trayvon martin's brother. >> javarus fulton goes to college and he's speaking on behalf of his brother. we heard from robert zimmerman speaking about george zimmerman. now we're hearing from javarus talking about his brother and the controversial stand your ground law here in florida. ran randi, listen to what he had to say. >> i think it sends the wrong message, it tells people that you can murder someone, no one sees it and you say self-defense. >> reporter: so we are hearing many new voices and also today many new people who will be part of this rally as this investigation continues to determine whether george zimmerman will be charged and arrested, randi. >> george howell in florida for

was sold in maryland. clyde anderson our financial expert is joining me now. so i guess you didn't win. >> it wasn't me i'm still here. >> i'm glad you're here, sorry you didn't win. what are the first three things the lucky winner or winners should be doing today? >> the main thing don't rush, don't say it's me, this is that ticket right there, that is changing somebody's life. don't rush out and do it and say it's me. breathe for a moment. you have to have a plan. planning is essential, but in order to have that you have to have a right team, good accountant, someone to man ab m and taxes, together put the plan in case. >> don't rush, get a team together. >> yes. >> what do you advise them on when i bought my ticket, they asked me to you want the cash option do you advise that? >> you want it in a lump sum. you want to make money off my

money. instead of having them control it and keep it, you can make money off the interest. get that lump sum payment instead of the annuity and earn interest. it's $270 million if you got a municipal bond you'd make $10 million in interest. >> the lump sum is $470 million, can you imagine? >> uncle sam get his piece. >> why is it that so many lottery winners end up bankrupt? >> when people are buying all this frenzy, people buying in hope of having something different or different life. as soon as they get the current to have a different life, a lot of people have never experience order had that time of money. as soon as they get it they go crazy, buy things they don't need, we have the need versus want thing, also counsel from someone not reliable or people that they can't trust.

some people steal money from them, buy different things they don't need and squander, it comes down to mismanagement and end up without any money. >> what about buying a ticket in general. there is student loan debt, trying to fill the gas tank, credit card debt. is it a good idea or waste of money, i ask myself all the time. >> we look at the odds, 1 in 176 million. you had a better chance of being struck by lightning. when you look at it from that standpoint, there are other things to do with your money, you have to look at that. if you have high interest rate debt and credit cards, that could be an issue. the person that spends a dollar to three dollars on a ticket not a big deal. some people were spending hundreds to buy tickets when they could use that money to pay something else or take care of responsibilities. >> next time we'll let you in on

23 mines -- minutes past the hour. here are stories making news around the anything. first stop, great falls, montana where ryan leaf was arrested and charged with burglary, theft and drug possession on friday. acarding to the tribune, he posted a $76,000 bond. but in a statement, leaf says i've made mistakes and have no exclusicuse excuses. his most recent arrest three years in a ten year probation, for eight felony drug charges that leaf pleaded guilty to in 2009. in california, 15 suspected illegal immigrants are now in custody after being caught trying to smuggle themselves in the u.s. coast guard received a call a boat that capsized nearby. border patrol agents think the

distress call was bogus. >> initial reports came in that the boat was taking on water or had capsized, and we have found nothing that confirms that report so we're believing this possibly might have been something a call to throw us off. >> to dearborn, michigan, three firefighters narrowly escaped from this, the roof of this building gives way right under the crew as they were trying to ventilate the building. you can see the guys formed a chain, all three walked away without an injury. for many war veterans coming home can be difficult. this week cnn hero is a former marine made it his mission to help his brothers in arms find a new purpose by giving them a chance to continue to serve. meet jake wood. >> in the military everyone is taught how to lead, taught how to follow, solve problems.

speeches and break down what is really happening in the world of politics. newt gingrich and ron paul are feeling the heat from their own party. a poll shows most republican voters want paul and gingrich to drop out so a front-runner can be determined before the national convention in august and rick santorum? despite being way behind mitt romney in wins and delegates most people don't want him to go. mark preston told me why. >> the reason might be the fact that rick santorum plays very well with the republican base. in fact one of the questions that we asked or several questions we asked had to do with qualities, and what they thought about values. we asked this of republican voters and these republicans said that not only does rick santorum says what he believes, but they feel that rick santorum is more honest and that rick santorum shares their values. on the flip side when asked questions is about mitt romney,

who do you think can beat president obama, they say it's mitt romney. who do you think is the stronger lead -- leader, they think mitt romney. rick santorum when he looks in his gut he sees the numbers and says i'm not getting out of the race. >> mitt romney has had a very interesting week. you mentioned a couple of the endorsements, marco rubio, george hw bush and paul ryan. he had big gaffes, which do you think voters are going to pay more attention to, the gaffes or big endorsements? >> i think mitt romney would hope they would pay attention to the endorsements and listen to what george hw bush says, but i have to tell you whenever it seems that mitt romney is gaining traction, he seems to stumble over himself. new details came out that he was trying to build a car elevator

out at his summer home in lajolla, i don't know how many people have elevators in their homes but he's building car he'll -- elevator for his summer home. that doesn't necessarily make him more understandable to the working man. that is for sure. also, he held a conference call this past week with wisconsin voters and he was trying to tell a joke but in telling the joke he really stumbled over himself and what he did is talked about how his father, who once oversaw american motors, how his father had shut down a plant in michigan and moved the operations to wisconsin. the joke didn't go over very well. >> i can imagine. getting back to the car elevator, people will wonder how they will fill their gas tank, not how they build a car elevator. >> on friday he gave a peach in

let's talk about your money, credit or debit card information could be at risk for fraud because of a breach. global payments says the card data may have been access bid hackers. all the major companies are on alert. clyde anderson is here with me now to talk about this. this has a lot of us worried, how did it happen? >> we're in this technology age, information is out there, floating in cyber space, sometimes hackers make it their point and their job to get in and find this information, that is what is happening. information is there, available, over ten million people are susceptible to having their information compromised. >> we swipe our card and use it in the information goes to the low ba global payments. >> they are the middleman. all the data is going out there. when it's out there people can take it, pull it down and create a new card, and go off and

charge. >> is there any way to know somebody created a new card with your information? >> what you have to do is check your information, that is why credit card theft and fraud is so big because a lot of times we don't pay attention to the details. we have to go back and pay attention to the details. you can pull information line, look at each charge. don't even discard the little charges, look at everything. >> ten million? >> ten million people at risk. >> there is any way to avoid the risk, any way to protect ourselves? >> laws have been put in place that you're only responsible for a small amount. so $50 is what you're responsible for, a lot of companies will waive that. you have to report it as soon as possible so it's up to you to make sure the information on your report, information on your credit card statements is accurate. >> how easy if you're compromised how easy you end up in a fight --
