create and mold legislation. we saw just yesterday the unfortunate events that unfolded in texas. once again, the debate around gun control spirals. you know, into every sphere, twitter, facebook, people are fighting on tv. i honestly do wonder as a lawmaker, why is it, why does it feel that nothing gets done, there are thoughts and prayers and yet no laws get passed. is there something you can and should be doing? wump stocks is a good example, after what happened in vegas, that seemed like okay, there will be some move and yet nothing has been done. >> right. i think with regard to bump stocks i think something will be done. the agencies are looking at it now. the agency that implements, the alcohol, tobacco and fire arms. >> trevor: but they can't do anything about it, because of a loophole that prohints them from investigating something that isn't a fire arm.

and will that loophole be closed. it feels like there is a roundabout of everything, they go the atf can handle it. the aff goes we can't handle this part, that is not a fire arm and there say loophole that excludes us from investigating that. >> i do think they can. they can google that, any device that makes a semiautomatic weapon act like an automatic weapon should be banned. if they can't, congress should legislation. and i'm there to support that i said all along you shouldn't be able to make a semiautomatic weapon an automatic weapon for all intendeds and purposes. another thing that we need with the recent shooting, it seems as though the air force didn't inform local authorities that this person had been convicted in a military court, information sharing doesn't happen. it doesn't happen with regard to those with mental illnesses either. the system is incomplete, the know what other state has done.
