well, competition or rivalries, they were totally free, at the same time serious and transparent between various candidates. everyone was witness to that. the campaigns and the debaits -- debates that you saw, they were to the point, straight, so much so that some people opposed them, and i will tell you that they were somehow right at times. some problems were also created, you can see the consequences. i should tell you here that we had this assumption, and we still assume that the

competition between the four presidential candidates was actually competition between people and currents or waves between various groups in the islamic establishment, enemies try through various media and some of those media belong to the zionists, ill wishers. they try to make believe in those media that there is a fight between supporters of the islamic establishment and the opposition. no, that's not true. they have no right to say that. that's not true.

tastes very well. i'm familiar with their personal trait. i work with all of them closely. i know them well. of course, i do not approve of all their viewpoints. not all of their viewpoints do i approve of. some of their attitudes and approaches could be criticized without a doubt. most of them i consider more appropriate to serve the nation as officials, but it has been up on up to the people to decide and that's what happened. the people have picked who they wanted. my will was never told to the public. what i wanted was never

publicized and people did not have to listen to. people have their own criteria and access based on those millions here, millions outside the country. they decided for themselves. therefore, this is something that belongs. it is an internal issue of the islamic establishment. the reality is purely treacherous. it's not an anti-revolutionary realm, that's not true. it's only difference of opinion between elements within the framework of the establishment. and the people who voted for these four candidates, the people did trust in the establishment. they thought it's better for the

establishment, and they voted for that person. they tried to choose the one they found most appropriate to serve the establishment so the people have also acted according to the principles of the establishment. well, the debate and the campaign, while it was an important initiative, it was an interesting initiative. it was to the point. it was serious. it was transparent. the televised debates actually know find all the candidates of those people outside. it was only a show they saw otherwise. they saw they were serious. candidates are sitting there. they are discussing issues and they are exchanging their viewpoints seriously. before these debates have been

positive. they had some positive points and there have been some negative complications also that i will mention later. a positive aspect was in these debates and televised discussions, everyone talked, said what they wanted to say, i did what they had in the minds and their hearts. hearts, quite clearly. a wave of criticism faced the way. everyone had to respond. they were criticized and they had to make a response. and they defended themselves. the stances of individuals and groups without ambiguity.

they were put forth for the public eye, naked and honestly they talk about their plans, their commitments, their projects. all this was publicized for everyone. people could judge for themselves in this way. people felt that in the islamic establishment, they are not looked upon as strangers of outsiders. there is no inside and outside in the islamic establishment. that means everything is clear for the whole nation, everything was expressed clearly for everyone to understand. it turned out that the people spoke stemmed from the same contemplation. people to vote is not ceremonial in nature.

the vote, the right to vote does belong to the people. people want to have their own pick. this is what the televised debate indicated. for sure one reason for an increase, committing increase for the turnout compared to the last turnout of the previous election rounds, has been a factor, the fact that people thought, mentality, all this were involved. they came to the scene and they identified the person they wanted, and they voted. these televised debates also, they were conducted. they found the ways into homes, to streets. the shows under th this helps tm

nurture their minds and their thoughts and it gets them a better power. this is favored by the islamic establishment. i should add the point here that such talks and debate should not lead to the point as results in carrying grudge to one another. if it was the same way as it was that day, well, that was good. but if it's going to be turned into argument, then gradually it will turn, it will bring grudge with itself and hard feelings. such debates should be conducted at different levels. they should continue. of course, by omitting and

putting aside those negative parts. they should continue. officials and individuals should know that they are being criticized and they should feel responsible to come up with their own answers and be responsible to the criticisms. if one individual is criticized at a time, this is an opportunity for him to even enlighten people's minds and to reveal the facts and the truth. this is quite positive. of course, devoid of the shortcomings that i will mention shortly. it's such a debate, if they continue during four years, that at a time of election when such debates are seen, you will not see an explosive excitement or commotion.

everything will be -- all the ideas will be the same. these are the positive aspects of these televised debates, but there have also been some deficiencies that need to be removed. in some cases, you can see in these debates that the logical point in these debates were kind of undermined, that the emotional and the nervous aspect would prevail, the destructive aspect would prevail at times. it's depicting the status of looking upon the dark side of things to be seen during these debates, and also casting doubt on the performance of the previous governments.

they were both negative. such allegations were raised. they were never proved anywhere. sometimes they relied on rumors, and sometimes unjust remarks were made. both regarding this government with all the services as rendered, and sometimes on just comment regarding the performance of the previous government in the past 30 years. the candidates kind of lost their temper during their discussions. amid some positive points they also raise some on positive issues. i also like many other people sat and watched all these tv

debates. i enjoyed the freedom of expression in those debates. and the fact that the islamic establishment has managed to go to the help of the people and help them to decide better. this is what i enjoyed. but the parts, the deficiency made me sad. for supporters of the candidates, again, those parts in which negative aspects which i mentioned, supporters of did not like those parts either. they worried them. and it was done on both sides. here, this friday prayer at this

platform and the sermon which is part of the prayers, i should reveal the facts, both sides, both candidates in these debates had their problems and deficiencies, unfortunately. on one hand, they were most explicit insults against the incumbent president of the country. even two, three months before these debates they had their -- their speeches were given to me and i sometimes heard there have been allegations and insults. who were these insults addressed to? to the president of a country whose votes came from the same people. they made wrong. the president who has trusted by the people. they accused him of lying.

this is no good. they fabricated some documents, the government performance, and they handed them out here and there. and we can see. we know what's happening in this country and we know that these are all against the facts. they are not true. they swore and they called the president superstitious, and they called him names which is embarrassing. they forgot about morality and law. on the other hand, it's the same story. almost the same thing happened by the other candidates. the performance of the past 30

years, it was undermined. some peoples names were mentioned. the people who are among the great personalities of this establishment. they are the same people who spent most of their life for the cause of this revolution, never mention people in front of their ceremony, mention names. but here because i have to mention some names here. specifically, i have to mention their names. i have to tell people. of course, nobody has accused these gentlemen of corruption. regarding the relatives and family members, if anyone has

any claims, any complaints, they should refer to the judicial sources. you cannot raise such issues before they are proved. if something is proved, then every society member is equal. you can raise the issue. you cannot raise such things until they're approved. until such things are issued then misunderstanding happens. the thoughts thank the wrong ways. everyone knows mir hossein mousavi. i know him before, not only after the islamic revolution. i know mir hossein mousavi. i have known him for 52 years,

closely. mir hossein mousavi is one of the main elements of the revolution in the course of the islamic revolution. he is one of the most serious and active supporters of the revolution before the islamic revolution. and after the revolution, he was one of the most effective political figures alongside the late amann and after the departure of him he has been alongside the leadership to date. several times on several locations he nearly got assassinated. and before the revolution he gave away his belongings for the

cause of the revolution. our youth should know these facts. after the revolution he had different responsibilities. eight years he was president before that he was parliamentary speaker, and in some other major positions. and all through this time i do not know of one incident in which he accumulated wealth. i do not know anything like this. these are the facts. everyone should know. and the most sensitive periods he was a service of the revolution of the establishment. in numerous cases, of course, we have differences of opinion with mr. rafsanjani.

but we should not create misunderstanding for people. of course, between him and the president, since they have had their difference of opinion, as soon as the president came to office. they have their difference of opinion. and for a policy and the manner of social justice as well as in some cultural issues, our president thinks the president's ideas are closer to those of mine.

he has also served as resolution. he has rendered great services. he cares a lot regarding the revolution, the establishment. no doubt about it. what live tv debates are good, but the shortcomings should be removed. after the debates, i talked to the president of the war and because i knew he would listen to me. regarding fightingcorruption, o this establishment it is a clear one.

in issues related to shoals of justice we have a clear-cut stance. corruption should be fought anywhere it is.
