driven in. hit total the same. error totals the same. orioles trail by a run as matt albers takes over here in the seventh. >> jim: so, albers becomes the third pitcher used by the orioles. a pinch-hitter will face him first for the pitcher's spot and chris coghlan and emilio bonifacio. veteran right-handed batter ross gload will pinch-hit for ricky nolasco. >> buck: ross gload pinch-hit in the seventh inning and got a hit to right field part that have five-run, four-hit seventh inning last night. >> jim: and albers misses low. ricky nolasco goes seven innings. he allows two runs. they are unearned runs. it's been a one-run game. gload fouls it back. >> buck: 3-4 starts since his return from the minor leagues has been good. this marlins pitching staff has a lot of promise.

if nolasco can recapture the form he had a year ago in josh johnson is just off the chart. many people believe not only here but around baseball you've got a chance to win the cy young. >> jim: albers gets ahead of ross gload 1-2. goes one inning no, runs, despite three hits. check swing. he went too far. good pitch by matt albers. that fastball exploded and gload down on strikes. one away. >> buck: we can't tell you how good this bullpen has been ream. everybody down there has had their moment. matt albers gets a big strikeout to start the bottom of the seventh here. great, explosive movement on that two-seam fastball. didn't necessarily move down like you normally see from matt albers. boy, it took off.

>> jim: back to the top of the lineup now for chris coghlan. walked and scored leading off in the first inning. there's a strike. orioles back in it with the two unearned runs in the sixth. a one-run deficit. still two more at-bats. now they get to go after the florida bullpen with nolasco lifted for a pinch-hitter. >> buck: the interesting thing, again, we must point out no lindstrom lind down there. probably no leo nunez down there. we've go the two guys in your bullpen and tim wood and christopher leroux that have one major league game between them. >> jim: leroux was called up today for lindstrom going on the d. l. he had been at double- a. there's a ground ball at first. huff to the bagment two men out. so, albers with two quick outs.

nolan reimold and oscar salazar have already been used in this game. so, you're down to three bench players. wigginton is aware of the possibility. he's loosening up -- loosening up. >> jim: albers, ahead 0-2. a little bit low. bonifacio takes. bonifacio's run in the first inning right now is the difference in this game. he reached on an error on a throw by melvin mora. not only did he reach. both runners coghlan and bonifacio advance. so, there were two in scoring position. they both scored on the base hit. the single by hanley ramirez. >> buck: yeah, matt albers has to get bonifacio right here. 2-2 count, two outs. end the inning with him the third out. leave hanley ramirez standing on deck.

he is safe at the plate! what a mental mistake by felix pie. he held the baseball! bonifacio looked up. he saw that pie still had it and he -- and he runs all the way to the plate. >> buck: boy, what a mistake. matt wieters digs the ball out of the dirt. never got a good grip on the baseball and throws it into center. look at bonifacio watch this play. he turns around to see what pie is going to do and never stops. pie through the ball -- threw the ball to second and that's costly. look at the indecisive -- he didn't know what to do. last thing you do is hold it. first thing do you is get it back to the infield as quick as possible. credit bonifacio for running with his head up. he had an idea before he ever touched third base that he could score on that ball in center field. >> jim: bonifacio went on a good pitch because the pitch was in the dirt.

wieters' throw sailes sailed. the first error charged to wieters and then pie just went to sleep. you cannot hold the baseball in the outfield. you just can't do it. >> buck: it's one of the most explosive base runners in the game. he's got tremendous speed. i mean, people have been talking about him for the last couple of years and how fast he is. >> jim: so, the error will be charged to wieters as ramirez walks. there's no error to pie even though it's a big mental error. rick kranitz out to the mound to talk to ashes who has walked hanley ramirez following that play. >> buck: that's the value of speed. you run with your head up. you can make the defense make mistakes. the hesitation by felix pie proved costly. he was aware of bonifacio, but
