more. >> news that yao ming's career may be in jeopardy because of a foot injury has transformed a franchise that seemed to be on the rise into a franchise in flux. while the rockets continue to seek treatment options for yao in hopes of returning to action questions abound. do you perceive that the 7'6" all-star is no longer your cornerstone. do you part ways with ron artest, going young and position yourselves to be major players in the free agent market of 2010? do you pursue players that fit around yao or ignore his presence altogether when building your roster? and if yao does come back do you count on him to make it through a regular season and playoff run? something he hasn't done in years? while the brightest scenario for the rockets could be for yao to step down before next season and call it a career that would end a once promising career, but it would also end the confusion in houston. >> missed games are nothing new

the cubs have beaten the cubs the last 25 times they have met on tuesday but on tuesday, the pirates would have their first winning june since 1996. >> it would be hard to find a coach, teacher, leader, more beloved than ed thomas. after being gunned down last week in the school weight room the questions have yet to be answered as to why a pillar of the parkersburg, iowa community, would be gunned down in cold blood. on monday, more than 1,800 mourners gathered to lay the former nfl high school coach of the year to rest. among those in attendance were members of football teams from across iowa, who were all dressed in their football jerseys. he also coached a number of players who went on to the nfl including four of whom served as pallbearers on monday. he was a high school head coach for 37 years. 34 of those in parkersburg. it was obvious on monday the lessons he taught will live on forever. >> the mass numbers of people that showed up, you can tell how
