that before. >> what is the message of the book? it's not really a football book? >> it's really just about life within the nfl and how we do it as a family. a family with 7 kids. how my wife and i do our marriage within all of the stuff we call the nfl. i think that's the fun part of it. we get to step outside of the line. take the pads off and it gives people an idea of what nfl life is like. what it's like behind-the-scenes. >> a couple of lockers rooms you are dealing. let's get to issues out there. how different are the cardinals with and without anquan boldin? >> we are dramatically different without anquan boldin. i think he makes all of us better. tremendous leader and tremendous locker room guy. but also a tremendous football player when you get the ball in his hands. he makes us all better. he makes me better as a quarterback and makes fitzgerald better as a receiver. he helps our running game and passing game. he does everything for us.

he is a huge piece to our puzzle. we would be a very different football team without him. >> he right now is with the cardinals. a lot has been made of your thoughts following the play where he was injured in new york last year. did your relationship change after that for better or worse? >> i don't know if it changed. we were very close before and very close afterwards. it just gives you a different perspective on everything. a different perspective on him. i knew how tough he was and what he brought to the table. but a newfound respect for him is what i developed after that scenario. watching him battle through that and comeback and be the leader that he had been before and bring the same type of attitude to the football field was impress itch. it meant a lot to our football team and made a huge imon all--

that will pay big dev dividends. >> if there was a role model for the comeback, it's kurt warner. you also have the dubios honor being part of the 2 most dramatic losses in super bowl history. how long does it take to let that go? >> i don't know if you ever let them go. i know with my first one against the patriots, that was probably the most devastating loss i ever experienced. i thought it more than winning the super bowl. having gone back with arizona this year, even though we lost, i think i appreciated the experience more than than at any other time. i enjoyed being part of that game and being in a position to win it with a couple of minutes to go and appreciated watching the world champions take the game frus. i have a better perspective now than i did the first time. hopefully this won't hang with
