a list of tests and things like but i don't know that there is any systematic way to handle the whole thing. you have to hope your doing the right thing and the players realize you're trying to do what is right. >> so what should be done in the hall of fame regarding the records of the steroid players and the players themselves. >> i don't know as i said before it the only thing that's probably going to happen and this is my own thinking that some of the players or most of the players that have achieved the great records and home runs and whatever else, you know, pitching, whatever you want to say is that their name's going to be with the asterisk behind it. that's the only way. i don't know any other way. i don't believe simply because a guy used steroids it's going to make him hit an x number of

steroids. if a guy an is on steroids i think the recovery effort is good and play today and two games tomorrow but i don't think it has anything to do with him hitting a fastball or something like that 90 miles an hour. >> do you envision a day when you and barry bonds will be together in cooperstown and how would you feel about that? >> it doesn't matter to me. i'm only one person, is barry's voted into the hall of fame i would be part of it and sit is there and shake his hand and be part of his ceremony. >> as you know your home run record was passed. roger maris' single-season record was passed. how do you view the legitimacy of the new record. >> it's a record and they made it. barry bonds passed me in home runs and that's the way it is. i'm no more than 755 home runs
