if he can get through a few innings without having the labor, keep his pitch count down an get them out because he is going to have a few starts. if tonight is the first one, maybe we can build him up and get a little deeper in the games. >> jim: those numbers slow me that, okay, two times through order, the third time, and especially when you haven't started for a while. that might be a good indication of how long he should pitch tonight. >> gary: he hasn't started since may 12 and he gave up five runs on six hits in just two innings in that start. so may 12 is his last appearance as a starter. ironically he has faced tampa bay three times as a starter. and reimold diving and will not get it. it gets by him. pie will back up. bartlett on his way to third. the throw will not be in time, and it will be a triple as bartlett gets it with two down

here in the third inning. nolan reimold did in the play in two straight games and it leams to me getting a slow jump. it is the left achilles, an then the ball just gets by him. again, what is your read? i think a right-handed pitcher, bartlett, even if you don't play it, he is probably going to steal a base because he has that capable against the lefty as little different. but nolan obviously thought he could catch that ball and just didn't do it. >> gary: it is going to be the eighth triple of the season picked up -- the seventh, i'm sorry, by bartlett and he takes it back for a strike. so he is on at third base. the league leader in triples is jocolby ellsbury, span and dejesus with kansas city, they all have nine. the rbi chance here in a scoreless ballgame. the third hit off of hendrickson. bartlett at third. crawford will take it down lo
