have these great crowds and a would-be republican and democratic and independent. it was like having town hall meetings all over the country. and what we were hearing back in june and july is what is showing up in the poll now. so that was the fun part of it and i love writing, too. but the whole process of people on the right calling you socialist, like my mom, and people on the left calling me a nazi it gets tiring after a while but i think next time if i write something i will write about my dog. >> is going rogue on your reading list? [laughter] >> it is not. nothing against sarah palin but i read presidential biographies and history. who knows, if she gets elected president by might watch out for that. >> joe scarborough.

>> author ann coulter. we're about a year into the obama administration. agreed him. >> i would say worse than carter on foreign policy and worse than clinton on domestic policy, so other than that a great job. >> and what we worse than president carter? >> i now understand the look on my father's face when carter was president. everything obama does is the wrong thing to do. you don't know what he's going to do but he is pouring gasoline all over the world in russia, iran, iraq, afghanistan. in china and where the match will be lit we don't know where it is going to be but we can count on obama to do the wrong thing. every president basically living off the foreign policy of his predecessor for the first year. so right now we are living off bush just as bush was living off

of plant in's foreign policy the first year. but we are about to move into the obama foreign policy and there's going to be disaster and i don't know where or how but i know that obama is going to do the wrong thing. >> congress. >> well, congress, is their something below and f. the good thing is they are not really getting things done and passed. they passed that crazy cap-and-trade bill, cap-and-tax as conservatives called. we looked at this bill and said this is insane and it's been sitting there. so that may not get passed and i like it not been passed but in the middle of a recession in the housing cost the have these massive energy taxes on homeowners, manufacturers. he would have to have an epa inspector come to your house to make sure it is green before you sell that. this is all in the cap-and-trade bill and when it went to the

senate which is the more sensible body right now they said i think we will wait. health care bill i think is a disaster. they have a majority in the house and senate and they have the oval office. so the odds are it will be passed but i have a nickel bet running on not being passed because i don't think americans want it. the premiums are going to go up, taxes are going to go up, and most importantly the chinese don't want it and they are keeping the country afloat. the only ones paying for our deficit. so they don't really like the spending under this health care bill. that is why the obama administration keeps talking about ending the cost curve because they have to save that for the chinese. the chinese are going to stop buying treasury if we don't get the spending under control so they don't want this big spending program unless, as you keep hearing from the gough, white house don't worry we are going to bend the cost curve.
9:39 pm
okay, ending the cost curve is health rationing. >> you're most recent book, guilty, came out in 2008 -- >> is there an update? >> if there isn't an update but it's a lot cheaper. >> what is your next book? >> that is top-secret. that will probably include might award winning the close recipes of state-owned. >> ann coulter. >> author robert, give an update on your lbj volume. >> i'm giving the fourth one. for the third when i national book award five years ago. and i -- this is a long book and i sort of in the middle of it now. lyndon johnson, president, civil rights, vam
