>> mike: welcome back to northeastern at matthews arena at boston. mike alongside special guest one of the best shooters if not the best in northeastern history. thank you for being with us. how are you doing? >> very good. >> mike: look at your team shooting like did you back in the dayites nice to see. when i was playing, they didn't have the three-point line. it's pretty good see how it works. works in their favor anyways. yeah. >> mike: david, the sixth all- time leading scorer in basketball history. matt janning on your heels. do you think the way he's playing, he might pass you soon? >> i would say so. they have a lot of good players these days. it's fun to watch them play. >> mike: it must be exciting to see northeastern rise to the back the -- back to the top of the league, very consistent and

they brought a lot of young guys too. >> i think under the jim calhoon years, they had some great years. i think the job that bill coen is doing is phenomenal. it's a lost similarities. he's a great guy as you probably know. he works as hard as anybody i know. >> mike: a great upgrade to matthews arena. i know you've been a part of that. after your playing days, it must be nice to see that too. >> it's great. they have fabulous facilities. everything about the university has improved so much in the last 30 years. i played here 30 years ago, so it's a lng time. >> mike: we need to see a few things and come back 30 years later and have the exact same thing? >> that's right. >> mike: doing real estate and coaching basketball, correct? >> i do. i help coach a girls' hoag high school tai.s been fun. it helped me get back in the game. i've been doing it about a dozen year now. i endiswroi a lot. >> mike: dave, thank you so much for joining us.
