the women who are in countries that don't have the luxury is a freedom that we have in america. those are three books that i would highly recommend to the readers this summer. they are not funny books were books that many time people read what they are very sensitive and i think when you read a book like the biography of walter cronkite or lyndon johnson were the stories of the women who have done so much, it doesn't reach everyone of us. i hope you had a great summer reading.

actually named this program after the hollywood movie. and i had the official hollywodi government slideshow cover to prove it. they actually took aas screensht of the hollywood movie cover and put it into their official ring documents and official names.tel theing unfortunate thing is thah this "operation fast and furious" isn't about dealing with cards, it is where theylowt aere going to allow strawese c purchasers, who can go into gun shops and buy guns for people who cannot buy them.t they were going to follow these guns, allow them to bestressingt transferred to these cartel members in order to take down the big fish are what they called cut off the head of thew snake. th stressing that this was an rec interesting program. the problem was under 2500 weapons that they allowed to go to mexico and they went to the cartels that we recently saw, the headless bodies of women anh

men 2500 guns in only two devic. devices in them. one of them was a radioshack homemade version of the device. tat doesn't sound like a very serious program in my opinion. and i would like to remindinexi, president obama that successfule drug cartels did not end up slaughtering hundreds of peopley in mexico and two of our federal agents. they did not get there odn their own in the words of president obama. they got thereby his justice department handing them guns.ths we referred to it over and over in the media that this was a botched program. a program that thousands of guns accidentally and somehow fell into the wrong hands. if you look at all t the testime and you look at al cl the th documentation, the word botchedh and the mistake could not beto t further from the truth. whistleblowers who have been the

only people throughout this grocess who have been tellin the truth, the documentation toe back it up said that this was not a programmer a couple senor thousand guns accidentally fell into the wrong hands. in this is a program where theyjust were mandated by theiric superiors, including seniorth wh officials and the number two man, lanny brewer and the justice department, to allowhemv these guns to mexico. not to arrest these guys. o theyr watched them buy them ove again without watching or seeing where they were going. really now, more than 18 months later,p with i really don't have time to deal with it or to explain it, but criminal charges about the a contemptbi of court and ericngr, holder and the first cabinet member to be held in contempt of co congress. yet the media doesn't seem to de think that this is a big deal. g

they have been complicit in the cover-up. they have decided that mitt romney's tax returns areet mored important than hundreds of people being killed in mexico and getting to the bottom of the scandal that has resulted in the murders of our own federaluriou agents.a out of 240,000 documents that cs exist about fast and furious, and remember, attorney general eric holder claims he knew nothing about this. pretty big think about what 240,000 piecesy of paper stacked up looks like.t it seems like a pretty big cast as attorney general, he doesn't seem to know anything about it. but going back to the tax return argument. and i ame happy that mitt romny has brought this up, every timee that they call for the release of more of his tax returns, they say why don't you release more documents and then we will0 taf out of 240,000 documents, theytk believe 7000 were leaked, mostth of which look like this. i will give you a little

preview. they look like this and this is what they expect you to think is the true.dacting out of the 7000 documents, you know, a lot of the redaction redacti includes redacting upcoming policy initiatives, which is not something that you should beknow redacting and the fact that verf low-level, taxpayers should know about because they will be paying for it. and it will affect them. of course you have the contempt charges were the chairman of thu oversight committee darrell issa kept saying to the attorney general, all you have to do is turn over 1300 documents out of that exist. and we will stop this from goiny forward. we will talk us out of continue with our investigation. but we will see that asthey pcew toperation.i they decided not to turn them me over. the they proceeded with the contempt charges and right before theeric first was sitting in the hearing room at this point, 15 minutes

before the first vote came out of the committee, president obama asserted executive thing privilege.hat this from the beginning of thel, roge scandal, more than a year ago. the justice department and the white house has have said thathi they knew nothing about this. but this is ae low-level, rogue operation that they'ref were c whistleblowers they were crazy t to even bring up the idea of gov walking inel mexico. eric holder still make that argument. this is a low-level operation. the memo shows that eric holderd was breached on "fast and may of furious" throughout 2010.excuset he says that he did not find out ndout the program until staff a may 2011. doess the excuse that he not read his memos. that well, he doesn't read his memos, of th someone didn't read him about this program and that has not
3:38 pm
resulted in the staff member being fired. the white house says that they knew nothing about this, and iut think they are getting a free pass because they asserted that the lease executive privilege, the least amount of power and st they are saying that this does not necessarily mean that there were communications with the ate president about this program.lys but they fail to mention that at least three national security advisers at the white house are being briefed about this program.ogtouh it seems that we found out about kevin o'reilly, who is a national security adviser at thr time. he was in touch with the phoenix office about this and they shipped him off to iraq and is unavailable for comment or to answer questions by investigators. not to mention president obama senior adviserhy was also invole in this program. why does this matter to you and young people?many wise this a topic you should ben interested in. "fast and furious" is, like i said, a huge scandal. cri ami scandal with many scandals, and the scandal whether the

justice department is trying tot push their agenda and the internal e-mails back that up. whether it is the attorney general of the united states changing its testimony over again in front of both and nothd being held a congress in front of congress again. or senior officials not being fired as a result of this wereke being held accountable. on whether it is thees whistleblows , like i keep ay,ing, we're the only ones who are actually being factual throughout the whole thing, ctoru having careers destroyed, just today actually the new atfnk he director issued a somewhat mino threat trying to be under thee. radar and i don't think he goi understands how youtube works because he recorded it and put it up for everyone tngo see.e wl he basically said if you're going to go out to your chain of tomand, there will be consequences. you have to go outside of your chain of command, not to mention

i see that this has not got a be ton of traction.and do you think that there has beee collusion with the obamahen my administration and if so, to what extent? >> i think there is some collaboration there and o this e the evidence that they had. when my book came out, there waa reporter who e-mailed about a stice specific topic in the book to get some commentary. the justice department e-mail back, an official doj address and said you'll have to refer your questions to the fbi.book in the meantime, i've been expected to give you a link. it was to a media matters job or the matter. and they did a big exposé on how the white house was working with media matters on what messaginge on a weekly basis. of course, they push their talking points out to mainstream

websites and msnbc and i'm not dep sure about cnn, but the fact is that working together, the ideae that the justice department would be willing to peddle the s funded website materials to try and discredit the entire book, t really shows what they are interested in. also they are pinning it up to an t outside organization and they are collaborating on messaging and using media matters is a way to get their talking points out to the media.oom wo >> katie, i have a question. this is such a dumb, stupidso tu plan. imp anybody in thisre room would'veo vetoed such a dumbod plan.made e so we get the impression that it is not just a good plan that made a mistake and was involved through it. >> well, there must have been some wh important, hidden purpose of itr

that is one thing that we get te the bottom of it.t? the reason why president obama was pushing porcelain gallants b was because his motive was toe p get more greeln energy in the united states. the what was the motive behind "operation fast and furious"? people i talked to said that they knew that gun control was a politically suicidal issue,, hes based on the 1994 election, rahm emanuel was chief of staff for y president obama. you look at the evidence and thh sources that i talk to and they say this is an issue of legislating dealers out of business and regulate them out of business. they in the obama administration has. a habit when they can't get something to congress, to go through the regulatory agenciesg this falls into that pattern. el the beginning of the obamamet administration, president obama, right out of the gate, made guns trafficking and taking on these cartels a top priority.ration.

he was in mexico within three of months of his inauguration. hillary clinton was there, eric holderco was there and they were all pushing this 90% figure, 90% the unit of guns in mexico and linked these violent crime scene comesw from mom-and-pop stores in the united states. that's not true. tstate dartment wiki leaks showed that that is a flat-out lie. state department cables, hillary clinton is the secretary of state, yet she was still quoting this figure. instead of taking up that and saying, these cartels are actually getting their guns in a china and central america, they are not coming to regulated mom-and-pop dealers to get theiu guns.need to they instead decided to flood mexico with guns and they went to that gun dealers and said you need to help your country by oo c inlling these to come in and buy these guns. they say okay. we are willing to t cooperate. y but to make sure these guns are

we were doing so to kill other people. essentially humans were being used as collateral damage to push this new -- this new agenda of we need more regulation.f it >> but they really didn't check >> guns. >> writes.ow >> there was no way to track the her down so they can track them. >> the only way they are traceable intractable, there isn no telling how many crimes they have been using before. then they are traced back to these gun dealers in the united states were participating in this program. a one thing i want to bring up, ry too, because the media hasn't te been paying attention to this in a way that they should be, they. haven't really been digging into the players are people in the chess game are important. one person whose key to this as

thing was dennis burke. and he worked for janet napolitano, the attorney general of arizona, chief of chief of staff when she was the governor ofe arizona. s she served as the senior homeland security adviser when she went into the obama stragic? administration and presidentdmet obama strategically replaced him back in arizona. when i say strategically, it is a pro-state, borders today, it is easier to blame violence on the state. weapo dennis burke just so happens to have written up and drafted the clinton erase weapons ban. hold' rahm emanuel, they worked on it together. once again,no eric holder, who e changes his testimony multiple times, said he knew nothing about the program. at the very same time, they had this long-standing friendship and relationship with janet h napolitano. and he is sitting on eric policn

that is one the hearings started. i went to every hearing. i sat in the room for hours upo hours. in i tolistened to testimony. i went back to arizona and develop relationships and dug f into what was really going on here. the reason it turned into a book was because you cannot talk about it in a whole on radio foe an hour, you can't talk about it at all in the three-minute news package, which is dinner for of television. it is a very complicated story also with different cards and different people, and itbecause required a book t to really give people a lot of evidence and really put the public uses together. there werew headlines, in the 2e hour news cycle, it would gohis away within the next morning, if you would forget about it. i thought it was important for people to know. all the details of the case. up to this point.standi w since the book came out. i might have to do ane update.

but really to give people a basic understanding of what was going on here and who wastihu involved and why whennt we hears these calls that this is a ago fishing expedition and athat witchhunt, whites not the case.i a cnn poll showed that 52% of americans think the charges were appropriate. i think that it percentage lot f points higher than president obama's approval rating in aertn general.nd that the 69% of people showed that they thought he that president obama should answer all questions regarding the scandal. i would hope that the media ignoring it is only making people angrier. the good thing is that with newg media and social media, we can n really get the stories out there in a way that doeses not requiro

the bush administration program and they did the same exact thing. which is not true. the evidence that we have so fa, and the justice department has been more than willing to turn a over evidence of "fast and furious", but not their own "fast and furious" program.bush the evidence shows that the stui mexican government was working with the bush administration on a. similar program and it ispur probably a pretty stupid prograe too. let's be honest. the way this worked if they or would allow shoppers to come bo. into these gun bills in a guns e similar fashion and transversely these guns to the border or over the border. the difference was they were arresting them, there were tons of indictments and the guns were going to go over the border, mexican government would've been informed and said these guns are coming over, it's yourartici responsibility to take carepa oo them and deal with them in your country. especially if this is someothing that you are participating in.n once they started moving guns to

the mexican government, the mexican government was dropping thecorr ball, they are one of to most corrupt government in the northern hemisphere, they were . of strg with the mexican government. under president obama, the mexican government was left in the dark and were not told about any of this. thousands of gun traffic, indictments went to presidentare obama. the atf agents working in mexice and working in bloodsoaked timeo soon, they trace them back, then weren't even informed about this program. there are huge differences between the two. not to mention, we had confirmed deaths of people as a result of that, including brian terry ands to answer his question about multiple instances of "fast andn furious" programs across the united states. cooperating plenty of evidence supports that. this is happening in houston, texas where the dealerme was tod
