3:54 pm
you're to vote and that is a combat and bad. the complete assault and out to destroy the second amendment that has been launched by your guest's side for many years which i have fought for over 40 years. >> host: i think we got the point, david. eric ham, a response for the caller? >> thanks dave for your comments this morning. i don't think that either party is trying to in any way infringe on the constitution. and regarding the issue of voter identification fraud, it has been proven and studied and highlighted that there is no little voter identification
3:55 pm
fraud that it will not make a dent in any state, any election, and any discussion. not even the bush-gore election was an issue of voter fraud. so it isn't i think an issue going forward. i think it is something that not only democrats but i think independents are looking at this issue because what we are seeing is we are seeing more people coming into the political process, which is what we want to see happen, and so any way we can continue to get more people engaged in the process is a good thing. >> host: jim is tweeting at dirty water and tweets 20-30 times per show tweets this in: folks, smart enough to earn more than $100,000 gave the majority to romney.
3:56 pm
54% of $100 k plus went to romney and 44% obama. chase from arkansas is here. thanks for holding. chase? >> i am here. >> host: we are listening. >> i would like to say mr. ham is nothing but a tact-titian. they broadband people together to get votes but they don't use the same rules for the people that vote for them. immigrants get all of the rights and freedom and they vote democratic. but the ones that vote for republicans don't get the same services by the government or nothing. it is unfair. taxation without representation. and it scares me because
3:57 pm
democrats own the government and have the advantage in tactics and statistics because they are a bigger force than the work people that trump up the dollar. >> host: thank you for calling in. >> thank you. >> thanks, chase, for that comment. i think the government is actual there to work for you whether you are republican, democrat or independent. i don't think that there is a group of immigrants or democrats that are seeking to infringe upon any one particular section of voters. i think it is here to try work for everyone here who is within this country.
3:58 pm
thank you. >> host: joe tweets in i disagree but could work with you on policy. jake is calling from maryland. go ahead with your question for arm eric ham. >> we are allowing the democratic party to describe what a conservative republican is. i think most of the democrats would be conservatives. the thing is they have allowed illegals to interfere with the legal immigrants. i think our country is based on legal immigrants. we don't need to let the democratic party describe what we are as republicans. and another thing is as long as we are in a world economy, and since we have been on top of the
3:59 pm
world all of this time, our only way is we have to even out the industries going out of the country and the democrat jobs are gone. we will all have to bite the bullet. if we don't advance the economy through the entitlement group. it is important to get the jobs back into the this country that was balanced and the part of the middle class which we don't have anymore. >> host: thank you, sir. >> he make as really good point. i talk about this in the book. i don't want people to think the book is a book where i am bashing republicans or the gop. that is not the case at all. there are a number of solutions i offer for the gop.
4:00 pm
a number of district candidates who i think will be great in 2016. what one of the issues i do address in the book is this issue of the global economy and a space where i think the republicans can begin to advance the debate going forward. if you look at the president has been wanting for a while now to make the pivot to asia. i think we are seeing a lot of growth and emerging markets in places like indonesia and korea, and these are places where, i think, republicans can be seen as a party that is willing and able to govern if they will look at the big-picture issues and advance policy and ideas on how
