>> bob weil is the publishing director of live right here first of all, what is live right? >> live right as the newly published in 1917.home of the first books of hemingway, faulkner, norton bought it in 1973, we launched a in 2012 and we are in our third season with already many bestsellers. >> what is the point of having a lot of imprints under one publisher? >> against the diversity of books where we have different from norton, many similarities.

extraterrestrial. he talks about the ending of biodiversity, the challenges to the environment. so-so work a very thorough meditational times. >> another author you have coming out this fall. >> terrence holt is a position in north carolina. this is the second part. his first was a selection of nonfiction short stories. this is nonfiction. it is 11 short stories about being a doctor. the challenges the doctor. he's a great doctor writer. one of the best i've ever seen. he gave up writing in order to practice medicine. he takes you to the extremes of life and showing you what is like in the emergency room, in intensive care ward of the

challenges that the doctor phased out with extraordinary that bridge. >> our declaration, what is that both quite >> our declaration is actually coming out in july. danielle allen is the leading philosopher and scholar at the institute for advanced studies at princeton. she fears that we don't know what the declaration of independence is about. they've done courses on a forward old students for the talented undergraduate. she says the declaration as much about equality as it is the personal liberty. she's also discovered errors in this version of the declaration we used in some of this will be revealed in the next five and she's an extraordinary figure and you would hear a lot about this book, which she makes us love one of the most important

world history, not only american history. >> pop weil, how long have you been working that danielle allen on this book quite >> i've been working two to three years on this boat. i've known her a bit longer. it is the major work. the serious historianhistorian s and critics are paying attention to it. the new material in that will surprise people and we can impart what it means and why does the declaration of independence means of it to everyone. he shows that it's really about equality. >> what is your background in publishing? >> i've been in publishing about her to five years. i've worked with a lot of historians. at some a lot of serious nonfiction and literary fiction. you know, many of the books had

done that for which philosophers, historians which i to-do books of consequence that matter and that will last. >> finally, can we please without talking about coming out by france's person. it doesn't look like a coffee table book. >> no, francis larsen has done a history of severed head, how they've been severed and also whose collected them, with his men throughout history. she does it so seriously from how they were used for relation purposes, she shows us how great poets have their heads preserved, but she does it chronologically this fascinating study. i was shocked that i would be personally drawn to a history of severed heads. but she tells us about a part of human collecting, which i never
