the folks who are sort of on verizon having a bigger and bigger impact both -- trial lawyers out of houston who are huge behind hillary clinton heading into 2016. a hollywood coproducer, same thing on the right folks like paul singer, a hedge fund mogul out of new york city is playing a big role. interestingly these are republican who wants to party and candidates to support gay marriage. that's what you see is so interesting about these new players come for billionaires, they're able to operate outside of the system and can become their own party and they can pull the party or push it one way or another if they don't think the parties issues are aligned with their own, but the republican party does not support gay marriage but some of his biggest donors do. it's kind of be interesting to watch how that affects the parties candidates a position headed in italy 16. >> are most of the big money folks ideologically motivated? >> yes. there's a real question why are

these folks doing this? there are some whose giving a lot of their bottom line interested you can look at and say maybe they're spending all this money in order to get something back but i think most of these folks have been into sort of work the system through lobbying, through regular contribution independent of this new big money that shaping things. that make me i think is a large market driven by passion, by ideology around issues, even behind loyalty. another major to his the $20 million propping up newt gingrich's presidential campaign in 2012. newt gingrich was never going to be elected president, to be clear, but i asked him why are you doing this? all republicans are saying you are hurting their chances of eventually beating mitt romney -- barack obama by supporting this candidate is never going to win the nomination. and he said, i'm a loyal guy and i'm going to turn my back on newt gingrich. voucher answer.
