facebook.com/booktv. or @booktv is our twitter handle where we send out a lot of updates and publishing news throughout the weekend. booktv on this memorial day weekend, three days of non-fiction books and authors. booktv recently visited capitol hill to ask members of congress what they are reading this summer. >> i had some good read this is summer. the other day i happened to meet, had privilege of meeting gene cernan, the former poll low astro not -- apollo senate. he gave me a autographed copy of his book, the last man on the moon. a very good read. i'm not quite threw with through with it yet. he made a couple of trips to the moon. first was was apollo 10, first to circle the moon first astronauts to do so with his other crewmembers.

he came back again and was the last man to walk on the surface of the moon. we haven't sent anyone back since then. very relevant for me because i represent nasa, nasa's facility in texas district 36 which is the johnson space center. and i also serve on the house space subcommittee and on the science space and technology committee. very interesting book. and i really enjoyed meeting and visiting with, astronaut certain men. he is about 81, 82 years old now. real interesting fellow. a great american that did a whole lot for our space program. one of my other books congressman sam johnson is giving us his book, called captive warriors, a vietnam pow
