good afternoon. i am honored to speak to all of you here at the value voters summit about my work exposing planned parenthood's criminal fail of aborted baby parts. i think we are all here at this conference because we have values that we know are good and important to share. our foundation that we can build from together. i started the center for medical progress to shine a spotlight on contemporary bioethical issues that impact human dignity. the sad and horrifying reality is that in the united states of america, in 2015, there are for-profit companies and taxpayer ended abortion clinics where every day people harvest
6:54 am
and sell the body parts of aborted children. many of you have now seen the video's of top-level planned parenthood executives that abortion doctors discussing how to use ill legal partial-birth abortion procedures to harvest body parts of live babies, for profit. investigators spent 30 months networking within the deepest, darkest levels of planned parenthood's the business to document and illustrate the barbaric activity they are engaged inches we we call this the human capital project. because it explores the business value of human bodies to planned parenthood. i want to play a little of that footage now, as a warning, some may be a little hard to watch. >> i thought they're just going
6:55 am
to be dry and blood not taking out tissue of aborted fetuses. >> part of plan parenthood and they get part of the money. >> so i want to talk about what i'm trying to offer of the service and she said you know all about the. >> you can imagine. >> so i say okay, order your supply today. >> we have to procure certain tissues like brain, liver, pancreas, heart, lungs, and pretty much anything on a fetus. >> i remember leaving that day, what what have i got myself into.
6:56 am
>> we will take a portion of it. >> so we alter nowhere able to take intact cadavers, oh yeah, it's not intact but then we can ship those back to our lab. and are we agreeing that $100 we keep you happy? [laughter] , do we all. >> [applause].
6:57 am
the main character that you saw in that video is doctor debra, with the salad and the wine at lunch who is the senior director of medical services for planned parenthood national. that means means she is the top dr., the top abortion dr. planned parenthood in charge of overseeing all of their, so-called medical services at their locations across the country. in charge of training all their abortion doctors and in charge of writing their medical standards. in the full video of the conversation that are investigators had, she described an abortion pigators had, she dd an abortion procedure that you can line up, line by line with the clinical, and legal description of partial-birth abortion. and matches exactly. so to anyone who would say,
6:58 am
these videos don't show planned parenthood corporately engaged in federal level felonies, i would just say that you are not listening hard enough. [applause]. there is paradox at the heart of planned parenthood's baby part trafficking that i cannot get over and the reason these videos are resonating with people from all walks of life. on the one hand, the human fetus, the, the unborn baby is not considered fulial human enough, humanity is not considered equal enough to our own to be fully protected by our laws, and in order to be protected from being killed by abortion. on the the other hand it is preciseial their e coal humanity that makes them valuable for sale in experimentation and their
6:59 am
harvesting hunt after their body parts like buried treasure. [applause]. that kind of contradiction lays the hypocrisy of legal, state subsidized industrial scale child killing an organ harvesting in america. i'm a proud member of the millennial generation and the most pro life since roe versus wade 1973. [applause]. >> many millennials realize we are a little gypped by the so-called secular so-called progress of utopia promised by planned parenthood and their allies. millennials grew up learning about the evolution of the slave trade, harriet tubman and the and the ground railroad, the grison genocide and crimes and civil rights marches of the 20th century and now also many of us
7:00 am
are scandalized and outraged by the fact the little human beings are being hurt, killed and sold everyday in the land of the free and the home of the brave by planned parenthood. the planned parenthood surgical abortion clinic a few miles away in downtown washington d.c. planned parenthood's flag ship location and capital of our free country is one of the locations recently partnered with a biotech company to harvest and sell baby body parts. in the same city where the declaration of independence save god's the inalienable rights of all human beings created equal and the same city where abraham lincoln governed a free country to bring liberty to human beings who were treated like property, in this same city little human beings are still being bought and sold. washington d.c. is not call only place where planned parenthood sold 80 cars for the past seven years and the yoke of a
7:01 am
pro-abortion president, in that time planned parenthood has been harvesting body parts from the babies they kill in california, texas, michigan, oregon, colorado, new york and utah, washington and at wisconsin and any number of other locations live we don't yet know about because their leadership is too scared to admit it. look romance ceo of planned parenthood national will testify under oath before congress on tuesday about these and other corrupt and illegal practices in planned parenthood's late term and baby parts abortion business. planned parenthood's ceo has admitted the three machine charges since the first video we release, number one that organization sells all boarded body parts for $60 per piece of the become a number 2, then they change their abortion methods to get a higher volume of sales of
7:02 am
metal the parts and number 3 that planned parenthood supports and approves barbaric transactions from the top of the organization down. these are statements she has put an official letters to congress. i want to encourage everyone in this room to continue to express your support for elective officials to halt planned parenthood accountable for these atrocities against humanity. it is unconscionable that planned parenthood, the biggest abortion business in america that regularly harvests and sells baby parts for profit is subsidized by 521 million taxpayer dollars every year. it is unconscionable that they continue to hold themselves out as a legitimate mainstream medical organization when their entire business model is built around destroying and exploiting our unborn brothers and sisters.
7:03 am
[applause] >> the worst of every human being is far more than the sum of his or her body parts. [applause] >> the equal protection of the law should extend to all members of the human family, old or young, black or white, gay or straight, born or unborn. those are not values [applause] -- those are the values of human dignity and human equality that should be reflected in our laws, lawmakers and law enforcement so i want to encourage all of you to carry those values forward from this conference this weekend. please continue to share these videos continue to rally your communities around our common values and we will hasten the day when there is no longer a price tag put on human life.
7:04 am
thank you. [applause] [applause] >> it is a sparsely tragic the obama justice department only wants to investigate him. we have steve scott leaseback and we want to hear from him. if we could look at the monitors for this very important report. >> whenever you are ready. >> thank you for inviting me to the values voters some of the design see this gullies, house majority whip. i represent the organization in congress, we all know that our values are under attack in washington like never before.
7:05 am
as someone who would be the office of a constitutional amendment in louisiana that the definition of marriage as one man and one woman in the state constitution i led the way in a state where 78% of our voters agreed marriage should be fought in our state constitution and now you have the supreme court come out with a decision that undermines that very constitutional amendment and amendments like all across the country. weiner 0 one thing as people who believe in life, believe in religious freedom, the lead in the values that made this country great, the only way we will get this country back on track is fifth vice standing and fighting for the values we believe in. i want to apologize for not being able to be with you in person. obviously it has been a tumultuous day on capitol hill. we have some folks, and some of you know, john boehner announced he will be stepping down as speaker at the end of october so we have a lot of big decisions
7:06 am
to begin this town in the house especially in the weeks and months ahead but there is one thing we need to do as a house republican leadership and that is to stand up and fight for those values. one thing i have done as house majority whip is to put an emphasis in bringing more legislation to the house floor. when we brought the bill after 20 weeks of work closely with all the polite groups to make sure we had the strongest bill possible to the floor and something no other majority whip has done in the history of congress. i actually whipped a pro-life vote. why that never happened before i can't explain but i said one thing. whatever the reason was previous majority whip's didn't set that priority is a priority to me. my faith is critically important to the things i bring to leadership in congress, is part who we are, part of a fabric in
7:07 am
this country. and send a message to a priority, we brought multiple pieces of legislation, going after a planned parenthood and we can't stop the fight until we are victorious. when we look at the presidential race, a more solid candidate than anyone looking for something, one or two or three people that can fit the bill. at the end of the day we got to unite and lead a conservative president start turning this country and around. one thing we got to do is make sure, we do a better job of vetting, while we losing so many tough votes? if it is a 5-4 decision we are always on the short end of the stick even with republican appointed judges. after we win the white house which we have to do, with a
7:08 am
conservative president, look at the time the conservatives has lost. what we run as conservative as we win elections. we win a presidency, not rights, the track record has not been quite so good so we need to stand up for conservative principles through the presidential election and elect a conservative president and start governing like conservatives all the way through wind supreme court picks up, and the values important to us as values voters. i thank you for what you do to go off on the streets at the grassroots level and fight for the values that are under attack in washington. it is too important to the future of our country that might two children, and it is at risk, we all know it is at risk. important to stand together and come together as conservatives to make sure we are fighting for
7:09 am
those values that made this country great. it is an honor to be with you for values important to this great nation that was created under god. >> amen. all right, folks, our final speaker this afternoon i dynamite. to give you a taste once again if you look at the monitors, it to this special introduction. >> my name is david. >> oh no, i set up the alarm. >> every day across this one, i compete with each other and the empty wagon. >> one twitter message. >> jason n. david benham. >> i don't want to get into it.
7:10 am
>> the television show. >> the war on traditional values, demand and network pull the plug the. >> their beliefs costing less show. a country founded on freedom of religion and freedom of speech faces fundamental questions. >> you guys feel as if you are willing to lose everything if you stand up for what you believe in. you were fired for having an opinion. >> we were fired for voicing an opinion. >> we loved jesus and with of people. >> love for all people, and there is an agenda with an agenda will do speaks to violence, the voices of men and women of state don't you disagree with that. >> give a show to some questions. >> an agenda in america right
7:11 am
now, violence especially for men and women who perform jesus christ. >> i upset with hdtv? >> we did from the inside out, not the outside in. we don't need media or other people to tell us how to live, we live from the inside out. >> i can remember when you give your heart to the lord you enter the battle between good and evil. make your peace with god. to this political -- does not look like something. run toward the bullet and do not run away. time for christians to stand for jesus. >> ladies and gentlemen, please welcome david and jason benham.
7:12 am
[applause] >> thank you very much. i will assume that applause was for me. the better of the twin do low here. the problem today is not the presence of darkness. is the absence of light. the bible says in an ephesians' chapters 6, have nothing to do with the fruit of darkness but rather expose them. thank god for the young man who stood right here and expose planned parenthood but what it truly is. and thank god for this young man to step up and take a stand. i remember when we were little kids we were 12 years old, our dad took us to an abortion clinic for the first time and
7:13 am
this is back in the day when the pro-choice activists start changing and screaming furrowing syringes at as and bottles of beer in, screaming and yelling and that is like that is strong, just stand strong, it is you're in. we have seen an agenda at jumping. back in the day i remember as kids getting death threats and all these things, dad was local in the pro-life movement and now christians being christians standing up for the innocent, a lot vilification and hatred from the pro-choice side has just done to the radical secular agenda the desperately seeks to remove christian influence from america. you find it funny jason and i don't really believe, we believe we have a religious liberty issue at america today but much
7:14 am
more like a christian liberty issue that is happening in america today. i haven't seen not muslim baker being sued yet. i haven't seen the imams under pressure to marry a gay couple. we got to speak it like it is. jason and i said when they fired us and we didn't suffer any persecution, just a little pressure, persecution's what those innocent unborn babies i going through when those overseas losing their head but the pressure will tend to persecution of we don't take a stand. so we said we have no intention of going down silently and. as a matter of fact this agenda that you didn't want to do we plan on attacking which everything we have encouraging others to do the same. [applause] don't say anything yet, don't say anything yet. here we are, glenn beck asked us to be on his show, we are
7:15 am
travelling to the dallas-fort worth airport and donald trump and jeb bush, is that what happened? you are a wonderful guy. anyway, in the dallas-fort worth airport, our faces were on the television walking through the airport and people were looking at us a little bit odd and won man in particular waited until no one was around and looks over both shoulders and comes walking up and goes are you guys the benham brothers? we said yes. look over both shoulders and says thanks for your stand. we don't blame the guy. every single one of us have to face our own fear is. have the wrong idea of standing today. i tell you what i mean by that. we hear people say and i have said it myself we have to stand, now is the time to stand. if we don't we're going to lose our religious liberty.
7:16 am
let me rephrase it for one second. i teach my 9-year-old son how to refrain a situation. let's refrain this for a second. we get the stand. there's a verse in matthew 5 that said bless our u.n. people persecute you and falsely saying against you. you have an opportunity to stand. it is not i have got to go stand, david here sat on the bench ally in basketball when we played high school basketball. >> that is not true. >> the greatest compliment he could have been given other than you play like your brother, that would be a complement, he is sitting at the end of the bench and i am in the game 15 seconds to go in the game worked out by one and the coach looks at his bench and says you get in the game, that is the greatest compliment he could have been given because in that moment when we are facing in the culture, we are down by one and we have 16 seconds to go in this
7:17 am
game and the coach is looking at each of you and saying get in, you, get in, get in the game. [applause] >> that was actually profound. hold on. we also have the wrong idea. we grew up singing the song this little ride of mind. i really messed that up. don't let satan standout, remembers that song? we think when we get saved, there is a little candle. >> it is of wider. >> never smoked before and dino a few of their words like strategy and other words like this so you light the candle and here you walk around and do a little candle, someone blows on the candles. he wants to start embers,
7:18 am
burning charcoal. burning embers in the fire, i'd take a lower to, that will happen. and ignite a flame. so god kept us on the shoulder, we had been god's word in the scripture, not brought my bible too. here is one difference, we are going to open it and read it. and trusts this and allow its power to defeat the lies of the devil on this stage so with that type of fire deep inside us, god ignited something in us and he wants to do that in each of you as well and we actually decided we wanted to bring a few people on this stage for the had charcoal burning in them for years and none of us knew who they weren't children were putting to the game and a fire
7:19 am
was ignited. come on. you got that side, i got this side, come on for. we will explain his they are in just a minute. come un through all the way down. here is your line. we will introduce these folks. wait a second, one second. every person up here who has experienced serious persecution. we experienced pressure. these folks experienced persecution. these guys are on the front lines. we need to take a photo and make sure it is of mud shot. i want everyone to turn and face david. here is the mug shot, here you go, mug shot. there you go. got it. so now, let us introduce who is
7:20 am
here on stage. we start down here, aron and melissa, they own sweet cakes. you guys are nervous. [applause] >> introduce the next one. the next couple you have not heard much about, this is rich and betty out of iowa, they lost their wedding chapel and will be auctioning off the contents of their wedding chapel because they would not perform the gay marriage. [applause] >> next to them is the florist
7:21 am
in washington and to edge [applause] >> then we have sergeant monk who was relieved of his duties in the air force because of his views on homosexuality. [applause] >> next to him calvin cohen, a fire chief in atlanta and that was fired by the mayor. [applause] >> and i want to introduce power last guest, a casey davis to has not yet lost his job is going to happen because he is the magistrate, a county clerk in casey county, kentucky and he is not going to issue any marriage
7:22 am
licenses to gay couples. [applause] >> we have got nine minutes. we want you guys to stay up here because we made a commitment the day we got fired, jason and i made a commitment, lord jesus we want to serve you whatever the cost and we want to be good americans whatever the cost. we want to stand for our religious liberty no matter what and by god's grace we have been given somewhat of a small platform so we went to use this platform to lift you guys up and to bless you and honor you and thank you for standing. [applause] >> this is all my idea. just kidding. we are going to speak to you and
7:23 am
these folks get to listen to us encourage you. i am holding in my book in my hand a book, a flashlight, this book, this book is called rules for radicals. i don't know if any of you ever read this book. it has influenced me to beat lendl lot more people than just that, two individually on the chicago sun times, techniques and teachings influenced generations of leaders like barack obama and hillary clinton. this, i want to encourage you guys with this. when you open the book there are some dedications in this book and listen to who this is dedicated to. the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom, lucifer. that is to the rules for radicals is dedicated to. people laugh and mocked jason and me because we say this is a
7:24 am
spiritual battle in america today and this needs to be fought spiritually. we lead with prayer and i am sure you praise an awful lot nandina you are in the middle of some things right now but i checked out four rules, that is vote rule book for those folks who up here experience persecution, those are the rules that were followed. i got another book, the greatest selling book in the history of mankind. this book set my family free, my dad was a drunken bum and he gave his heart did jesus and dedicated himself to the truth in this book and we are on stage telling people that jesus is the king of kings and the lord of lords, the supreme court is not sue green, it will bow before king and his name is jesus and he is in this book. and every person up here recognizes that because that is why they're here. >> four rules.
7:25 am
several rules in here but here is one of those rules, ridiculed is man's most potent weapon. there is no -- it is your rational, infuriatingly how many of you have come under ridiculed? yes. are you just called bigots, haters, homophobes, does any of you hate a homosexual? do you have any hatred in your heart whatsoever? neither do we. that is just a narrative that has been created. it is because right here ridicule, the rule of the book, ridiculed this, it is infuriating because there's no defense against that. you are just an idiot. i know. jason is a bigger idiot than me. when you say we are haters and bigots and all of these things they are playing by the rule book, what is our rule book? >> do you know the way you win the battle is to take lie and expose it for what it is and
7:26 am
take the truth of god's word and when the truth of god's word comes in darkness has got to please the you heard the rules, it works a little bit, here is a culture but guess what? got has an answer, jesus says blessed are you in matthew 5:11 when people insult you, when people persecute you and falsely say all sorts of things against you, that is the truth of god, that now each one of you on the shoulder, get in the game. get in the game. time to get in the game. i want you to be encouraged. >> another rule, the threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself. come on. we were standing at the skin davis rally and i said you know what this radical agenda is like that is going after religious liberty, specifically christian liberty?
7:27 am
like shining a flashlight on a mouse that project the huge dinosaur type shadow on the wall. sweep it away. in first timothy 1:7 it says for god has not given you a spirit of fear but given you a spirit of power and love and sound mind. this is true. the stage is falling apart as we read the bible, but this is true. the devil is pointing and each of view, each of you, with an empty gun and all we have to do is recognize the truth of that, snatch the gun from his hand, that is not so difficult. they did it and you and do it. >> all we have to do is the scripture says our struggle is not against flesh and blood. we don't struggle against individuals, we reach out to individuals with the love of god
7:28 am
but we resist the agendas with boldness. that is so important, we reach out with compassion but resist with boldness, you can do both and we must do both. let me give you another rule. if you push a negative hard enough it will push through and become a positive. what? you know what hitler said? hitler said by clever and persevering use of propaganda, even heaven could be represented as hell to the people and conversely the most wretched life as paradise. that is what hitler said. >> truth is hate to those who hate the truth. this is what the bible says. you guys like the bottle? i told you where going to open it, use it and destroy the words of the devil in you will know the truth and the truth will -- you guys got this. number 4, this is very
7:29 am
interesting, pick the target, freeze it, personalize it and polarize it. cut off support networks and isolate the targets from the enemy. you know exactly what this feels like. go after people and not institutions. people hurt faster than institutions. that is exactly what is happening today. it is funny because it costs me nothing to be friends with some pastors but it will cost pastors a lot to be friends with some of us because when we get frozen and isolated and polarized they cut you off from any sympathizers. >> the greatest compliment god could give you is to put you in the game. listen to what he says to the children of israel in joshua for the lord has pronounced rang and nations in front of you and as for you, no man stood before you
7:30 am
to this day. and god fight for you as he promises, does the board fight for you guys, and say this real quick, somebody came in and set i support you and brought some cookies for you and what did they ask for? >> i support you and love what you are doing, i went to go, and they asked me don't put that on the box. i am thinking will you support me but you don't support me. >> if you don't support you are playing into their hands. stand up and support.
7:31 am
let me ask you guys, for the audience here. worries scared? was their fear, was there a little fear? >> when you get desperate, little scary. >> would you hold on to this word? you were not always so confident. you had some fear but you held on. >> yes, praying the word and phrase in the word. >> explained to them real quick the couples that wanted to get married had been married six months before and what happened after that? >> the state continued the prosecution. the state of iowa was culpable in chasing a bogus charge against us because they knew it was a setup and we lost our business. >> they had already been married. see how this is working?
7:32 am
you lie or cheat or do whatever. have you sold flowers to the individuals the suit you before? >> yes for ten years. a really good friends, she walked in the door today, and hugged him and tell him -- >> i love you. >> that is amazing. thank you. >> real scared, tell me? >> were you nervous when you were asked what you believe? that was a simple softball question. >> i was scared. i have been overseas, been to iraq and seen the devastation and i had my worst bad and once you had your worst day what comes next and in that moment, no service men or woman should be forced into a position to
7:33 am
make a choice between their commander and their creator. it just doesn't go. [applause] >> he is going around the country speaking and i want you to give us the five points the guide uses persecution for. >> is important for us as children of god to understand that if god chooses you and puts you in the game he has prepared you for what you are going tuesday. the second is the toughest of the five and that is there are indeed consequences for standing for biblical truth and standing for jesus christ, a significant worldly consequences but the third one is the one that there are kicking them consequences for standing for biblical truth and standing for christ and the
7:34 am
kingdom consequences are greater than worldly consequences. [applause] >> 04 lesson is sufferings are always for the greater glory of god, he always gets greater glory when his children choose to stand and let him fight the battle and the last one is the child of god who endures suffering, their life of blessing will go to an exponentially higher level of blessing above all they could ask for. >> that is the truth. >> casey told me i haven't been sued yet but i stand where i believe god would stand but also stand where my constitution stands so read them what you read me in the greenroom. >> section 26 of the bill of rights, it simply says to guard
7:35 am
against transgression which we have delegated, we declare everything is accepted out of the general powers and shall remember it remain inviolate and all was contrary to this constitution be void. last part of section of the bill of rights is no human authority shall in any case whenever control or interfere with the rights of conscience. [applause] >> i want to say thank you for being here, thank you family research council and tony perkins, god has blessed this organization, bless this nation, now is the time for us to stand, we may lose something, we may have -- we are not losing our
7:36 am
lives but it is worth it in this end, we will stand for the lord whatever the cost, god bless you, have a good night. [applause] >> the notice continue republican presidential candidate ben carson says many people crossing the southern u.s. border are hardened criminals, not for latin americans. >> thank you so much. thank you. thank you. thank you. thank you very much. thank you. i love enthusiastic crowds. it makes up for my low energy.
7:37 am
i got to tell you something about america. having visited 57 different countries. i am always so pleased when i get back here because america has been so good to me. i was born in pretty dire circumstances, grew up very poor, had a bad temper, i was a terrible student, all the things that probably would have precluded success in most other cases but he in america the opportunities where is there even if you didn't have a silver spoon in your mouth you could go to the library and did didn't cost you anything to go there unless you turned your book in
7:38 am
late. see those are the opportunities i want to preserve for other people and i get irritated when people complain about america and said the we are a terrible place and we are the source of all evil in a world. if we were so bad why is everybody trying to get in here and no one is trying to to escape? that is craziness. there is such a thing as the american way. we should be proud of it. have you noticed there is no canadian way? there is no french way, there's no egyptian way, there is no other way except america. let's be proud of who we are. we don't have to -- [applause]
7:39 am
it is one of the reasons i for one am not interested in giving away our values and principles so we can be politically correct. that is a bunch of craziness and some people when you say things like that they say you are bigoted, you are racist because you don't want other people to import their way of life and we should be willing to accept the way other people do things. anybody is welcome to come to america as far as i am concerned as long as they meet all of our criteria but they don't get to change who we are. that is a very important process. i deeply believe in compassion
7:40 am
and being kind to other people and i think we are in a very good position in america to be kind to other people. i think about what is going on in a nation like cameroon where some major american companies have gone over and are helping develop millions of acres of incredibly fertile way in, getting record crops, making a lot of money i will admit but also developing the infrastructure of that nation and providing jobs and teaching them the agriculture business so they can do that on their own to a much better extent and that is the kind of thing that is a win/win situation making friends for us and we are not borrowing money from china so we can give them billions of dollars in aid. that is the kind of things that makes sense, the kind of thing we should be doing in south and
7:41 am
central america so that they won't feels they need to come here and the other thing we need to be thinking about, other thing we need to be thinking about in that regard is stealing our borders because the fact of the matter is having gone down there recently and looked at how poorest those borders are anyone could get through there. offenses would barely slow me down when i was a kid. there are no border guards, the border guards are 70 miles inland. why are they called border guards if they are not on the border? and when they captured people there told to release the man's a lot of those people are not from honduras and mexico, there from iraq and somalia and russia and many of them are hardened criminalss change it seems like
7:42 am
our federal government is actually fighting against the the sheriffs and the people who are down there and the families, and i sat with some of the families and they told me the lures stories of what they had to endure and how frightening it was and there are some incredibly brave americans to do that but we need an administration that will back our people up and of the people trying to invade hear from some place else. [applause] >> i have already done some interviews today which you will be seeing on television for the next couple days. i am so tickled with the media. these guys just don't get it. the interesting thing is the media is the only business in
7:43 am
america protected by the united states constitution and there is a reason they are protected, because they were supposed to be on the side of the people, they were not supposed to pick and choose which side they were on because that distorts the entire system and we should hope and pray that one day they come to understand as the nation goes off the cliff they are going off with it and maybe they will wake up. [applause] >> begin to understand what is going on. i went back and forth with one commentator. you said somebody of islamic faith and up muslim could not be president of the united states. i said go back and read the full transcript.
7:44 am
before that i said anybody from the faith, in the belief system who comes to america comes -- becomes an american citizen, embraces our american values and principles and is willing to subjugate their beliefs to our constitution is somebody i have no problem with but then comes back and says what about a muslim in the context of somebody who didn't fit in that category? anybody who doesn't fit in that category i don't care who they are, they could be a christian if they don't fit into that category i am not going to advocate that they be president of the united states, as simple as that. [applause] and by the way not advocating that they be president of the united states in no way precludes some from running. the last i checked we all had the right to decide who we
7:45 am
wanted to educate for. we don't have in any way to say that you must say at this or that. political correctness is ruining our country and we need to stand up for what we actually believe. [applause] the big problem with the media is there are always going off into these tensions, because they don't want to talk about the real issues. we have some serious problems in this country. our fiscal irresponsibility is ruining the future for those who come behind us and as a pediatric neurosurgeon who spent my entire career working on the welfare of children, i can not quietly sit by and watch us
7:46 am
ruing their future. we have the national debt greater than $18 trillion. what a ridiculous amount of money. million is a lot. billions, 1,000, millions and a trillion is 1,000, billions and we are talking $18 trillion to pay that back at a rate of $10 million away, at 365 years in, it would take you 5,000 years and that is what we are taught putting on the backs of our young people. that is the good news because actually it is much worse than that because the fiscal gap, this is something no politician will talk about but i am not a politician so i am going to talk about it. what it is, please look this up,
7:47 am
it is the amount of unfunded liabilities the we have as a nation, social security, there are 645 agencies and subagencies. all of that, tremendous amount of money, look at that amount versus the amount of revenue expected to be bought through taxes and other revenue sources, those numbers should be almost identical if in fact you are responsible but wind you are not there is a gap and you bring that up in today's dollars and talk about the fiscal gap which is over $200 trillion, is a staggering amount of money. i mentioned the fiscal gap on my announcement speech and the knicks did the liberal media's
7:48 am
that he doesn't know what he's talking about, doesn't know anything about economics, he is just trying to frighten people and the next day forbes said 17 nobel laureates and economics and 1200 professors of economics agree with ben carson. [applause] that took some of the wind out of their sales but the fact of the matter is you look at that amount of money is the only reason we can sustain that level of debt is weaken print money which we are doing in a very irresponsible way. we stopped coupling the dollar to the gold standard in 1971. good name faith and credit since that time which is not good to be honest with you. it is a house of cards that is ready to collapse. what are we doing?
7:49 am
continuing to increase that level of debt. in fact, i would say if your representatives, don't care if they are democrats or republicans if they continue to vote to increase the debt and raise the debt ceiling and raise the amount of money we are going to spend at the expense of those coming behind as you need to find out who they are and throw them out of office. [applause] >> i never like to raise the problem without offering a solution because they're actually is a solution to our incredible physical problems. we are in possession of the most powerful and dynamic economic engine the world has ever known. is just that cannot function
7:50 am
because we have enshrined it with so many regulations, nothing can work effectively any more and that dampens the enthusiasm for people to take risks and invest capital. what people don't know isn't in freezing 0 federal regulation costs us money. in terms of goods and services, costs everybody money because it increases the price of everything and who gets hit most by that? the middle-class and poor people. that is one of the things driving the income gap. bernie sanders would have you believe it is because rich people exists but let me tell you, you take every dime from the top 1% and you will still have a gigantic problem. that as of myth and a political sham and we need to reject that and teach people what the real issues are that are going on in
7:51 am
our country. [applause] >> and when you look at the national debt of $18 trillion, it forces the fed to keep suppressing the interest rates because what happens if they allow the interest rates to rise to normal levels. with that level of that the debt service on that would be approaching 800, $900 billion. that is ridiculous. can't do that. what we have to do, think about what the result of that is by the way. for years traditionally how people, average people make money in our society? joke the butcher every friday put 5% of his paycheck in a

savings account and watched it grow over the next three decades so when he retired he had a nice nest egg. he is not incentivized to do that anymore. that is problematic. putting money in the bank, bonds, things like that which allow the average person to develop some degree of financial security, those things haven't existed for almost a decade now and the only place to make money isn't the stock market. in order to do that you have to have risk tolerance. who has risked tolerance? rich people. a driver of the gap and we have to stop allowing the left to deceive people into thinking the wealthy people among us are causing their problems. that is not to is causing the problems, it is the socialists among us who are causing the problems. [applause]
7:53 am
>> we can solve that problem effectively. the other thing they don't want us to focus on is the weakness of our military. it is at record lows and our navy, air force, the commandant of the marine corps in recent congressional testimony talked-about non deployed units and how a state of the readiness existed largely because they are not getting the kind of support, not the men and women, the men and women in military service are tremendous people. i sound like donald trump, tremendous people. but look at what we are doing
7:54 am
all so by weakening our military and not taking care of our veterans, the recruitment of our veterans is down 14%. this is hurting us, the morale and we have 23 veterans committing suicide every single day. that is the tip of the iceberg and it shows we are not committing our support to them. what we need to be doing as far as i'm concerned is the day that they enroll they need to be also enrolls in a support system that will take care of them through their military career and a year before they discharged we should have people working on their integration back into society so there is no data, they should have a health savings account which is subsidized by the government and allows them to go to any hospital or clinic and we
7:55 am
should be happy to take care of them. [applause] >> because if they are willing to lay their lives is down and their limbs to take care of as the least we could do is make sure we take care of them when we come back. >> we are talking about our values, this -- what are our values? one nation, unity. let's stop letting the purveyors of the vision divide us up. they don't even care if you agree with them as long as you shut your mouth and sit down. time to stop shedding our mouths and sitting down. also one nation under god.
7:56 am
we have to stop allowing the progress of is to drive got out of our land. we must be willing to stand up for because as they drive him out look at the direction we are going. a downward spiral. we need to stop it now. thomas jefferson said the american people become less vigilant, as they would stop paying attention and as a result the government would grow and grow and infiltrated every aspect of our lives, he said just before turning into something else, the people would wake up and they would once again take control. i say now is the time to wake up and take control. thank you.
