general. that is part of our mission statement, trying to get viewers to participate. >> we spend a lot of time thinking about what the viewers would want and listen to the viewers and who they would want to hear and what they would want to see. we take that into account when we look at the different authors and we will have call-in programs where we can bring the viewers into the mix and they can talk to the authors as well. >> we have tweets, facebook comments, we are getting that constant feedback for the live programming >> when we go to live festivals or programs like in-depth that is the ability for the audience to interact with the author and having them answer their questions or ask questions or share comments with the author. >> we know there are so many people around the country that are really big readers and are interested in things like history and biography. it isn't just about the author getting on stage or on screen and tell y w
