department, so, for example, everyone, i cover the british parliament. i think one of the coolest elements of this internship has been the people that work here. i have never been challenged so much in internship before. i'm doing hands on everything, which is really, really cool and it makes it feel like i am part of the team. >> one of my favorite experiences was pretty much being in the newsroom during the election. it was really cool because we have lots of live feed coming in very quickly went to process them. hillary clinton was having her concession speech and we will run that by doctor donald trump's victory speech and making sure things were edited right on time, just kennedy in the middle of it all while all of this amazing history was happening.

>> c-span is extremely educational from the production side of things and the political journalist side of things. and i think the biggest thing i've learned from c-span just how important being neutral is and just how little neutrality there actually is out there in the media spin whether or not you want to be a politician, a journalist, with a going into education on marketing, it's something you can learn from for an entire semester and maybe you'll get committe to make youe your course or career. >> it's given me a good foundation for one hope to do in the future. >> i am so thankful for c-span because i don't think you can get an expense like this anywhere else in d.c. where you are surrounded by people are interested in your work and who are consistently pouring into your professionally.
