he is german. but he is talking about the american resolution. and this is the history of the violence of that resolution. sometimes we sugarcoat the american revolution. and some people just didn't get it. actually it was far more contentious. the violence was lethal. more americans died in prison ships in the revolutionary war than on the battlefield. was extremely violent time and this is the history of that violence. a look at the american revolution. one of my favorites for historical novelists who writes about ancient rome and they are all mysteries and it's a wonderful serious and he is one of my favorite fiction authors to turn to in great history. the tutor history in great britain. they had written a series of books this one about that.

he has that character who solves mysteries. the history is superb. the history of espionage. during the world war ii. in terms of real networks that were successful by any country and is a wonderful history of the rise on that science of espionage. biography of hugo black by roger newman. it's about a great presence of the supreme court you really gave us a lot of our modern law.

influenced russia. incredible biography with the russian history that takes a little getting used to. he wasn't quite the mythical character a lot of people who wanted that. the philly feelings are the revolution. the real characters. it is an extraordinary book about and when it is struck by the tens of millions of people who were murdered or who

succumb to the policies. he actually imposed on the ukraine in the 1930s that was devastating. millions of people died. and it led to the welcoming of the nazis of course he lost that goodwill with the occupation. he turned out to be just as bad as stalin. very sobering that they could do what was done to that part of the world. the best years of our life as a fascinating and wonderful book. by lance mall. in 1948. they are getting reelected to congress and then johnson running for the u.s. president

and prevailing. he developed his nickname. in a very close election. but fascinating in terms of the special history of times. they of course dominated at the latter part of the 20th century. wonderful read. it's sort of that story and interaction between george washington. they have a long career after the american resolution including being a figure in the french revolution until it went really south. their relationship almost like a father father and son were highly unusual. and impressionistic relationship.

kind of a history of the new world. and now that. a lot of stuff most of us would not remember. with the house of lancaster in the rise of the tutor dynasty in great britain we think of this as long-lasting but actually it wasn't. and ended with queen elizabeth the first. and then finally two books i'm reading today. and i haven't finished. one is the history of the empire by peter jepson.

the history is fascinating. it's kind of tough getting through. i will get through. his thesis was we misunderstood it. it was actually more vibrant. parts of the empire. and then a fascinating novel. is sort of a combination in the concept of the dead. talking about their condition. it is nothing but a series of narratives from people who were deceased. they were reflecting reflected on what was going on around them.
