>> i do know the tv ads that are going to be run against the five most important senators on this committee, the tv ads of the independent groups will of course say, senator mccaskill and senator casey and senator nelson are voting against a 4000-dollar raise that this tax cut will bestow on them. we know it's coming and we will know you will have way more money to promote that then we will have to defend it but that's why the amendment is so important. i think it would be nice, before we go home, to acknowledge this tax cut is really not for the middle class, it's for the rich. that whole thing for higher wages is a good selling point but we know companies don't just give away higher wages. corporations are sitting on a lot of money and a lot of profits. i don't see wages going up. spurs the sarcasm.
