republicans. this tax plan has this provision and it will go to the floor as one package. the tax is this. >> walk is for the the senate floor debate. >> we expect them to take up the tax package on wednesday. they'll start the debate clock up to 20 hours which could be yielded back. there were get into the voter rama, this amendment vote, free willing thing where they can offer things are tough issues. dealing with some of the more controversial aspects that could go late into the night on

thursday ending with a final vote. >> it could be very different with what was on the u.s. house with changes likely had to the senate bill. your writing about the cq roll call. it reaches a tentative trigger deal and james of oklahoma is joined with senator bob corker. this would essentially call back some of the tax cuts as a dry deficit senator bob corker there to staunch hawks and their concern is that it could lose revenue as is projected to do.

so it could and some of those cuts we have been pushing for this recently it's unclear if it could deter other members because there has bank conservative groups that said they don't want to trigger in the script onto the tax cuts it will create uncertainty for companies. we'll see soon the details of that agreement, not sure when that will come out but that would be something to watch for. that will be key to get 50s

votes. you wrote about susan collins of maine coming around ten warming up what about other senators, two gop leaders think the have the boat? >> they might not have the votes right now but they're feeling confident they'll have 50 votes by the time it goes to the floor or by the time they complete debate on the bill. you mentioned senator collins who is pushing for some things. not fully repealing the deductions she is also spoken about doing some measures to mitigate the negative effects of the individual mandate and

that's part of the tax plan there's other senators who we haven't heard much from john mccain who is one of the three senators who sunk the healthcare repeal earlier this year. he has voted against republican tax-cut plans of the past. he has this streak of being a maverick. others to watch for, ron johnson from wisconsin who has pushed for more favorable treatment of small businesses relative to large corporations under the plan. he was a member that voted to advance the tax plan today, indicating he's feeling good about getting some changes to satisfy his concern. there's a lot of moving pieces at this point.
