>> the gavel expected to come down and about 47 minutes. we are like inside the longworth house office building and use noticing the posters, three of them on the republican side of the aisle including 95 days since adam schiff learned the identity of the whistleblower. i claim the chair of house intelligence committee continues to deny. he did so on wednesday during day one of hearing that included ambassador william taylor and george kent from the state department. security is always tight on capitol hill but it is heightened today. a long line of people many waiting beginning early this morning to get inside the hearing room. there are seats for up to 450 individuals but, of course, the media taking up the bulk of that. the general public will be allowed inside the hearing room. we are alike in about 45 minutes.

today, testimony of marie yovanovitch. the way it will work is the chairman of the committee will gavel in at 9:00 eastern. you will have about 45 minutes for opening statements along with chairman devin nunes. when state they did not take the full-time allowed it. you will hear from the lawyers on both sides of the aisle. on the democratic side daniel goldman and daniel noble both former federal prosecutors in the southern district of new york and then on the republican side steve castor, jim jordan chief investigative counsel for the house oversight committee and, of course, mr. jordan was added in part because of the tough questioning he asked on wednesday. more of that again on friday. capitol police line outside and inside 1100 of the longworth house office building. a reminder this hearing is also streamed on the web@c-span.org, on our youtube and facebook page as well as on our free c-span

>> we have been showing you the scene inside 1100 longworth office building to give you a sense of how the hearing room is getting underway. security personnel lining the room. the media getting ready testing their cameras and, of course, staffers for members of the house intelligence committee chaired by adam schiff. they hearing will gavel and at 9:00 eastern. only one witness, the third witness before the house intelligence committee, that is a really give on of its former ambassador to ukraine. she was relieved of her duties earlier than expected in may and will be asked about rudy giuliani which she knew about burisma, the energy company which former vice president joe biden son hunter was on the board of directors earning $50,000 a month. of course questions from republicans including jim jordan and devin nunes.

i am at the cannon house office building directly next door to the longworth house office building think after nicholas longworth who by the way was a congressman from ohio. speaker of the house from 1925-1931 and the longworth building band after him back in 1962. i want to share with you a headline from the "washington post," democrats charge bribery house speaker next bluesy sharpening her rhetoric after president trump, and this is the escalation of the charges, bribery by the way specifically make it in the constitution including high crimes and misdemeanors and, of course, that is what members of the house intelligence committee will be gathering today. should also point out the hearings will continue into next week and then the committee or write a report that will then be submitted to the house judiciary committee and voted on and then to the house floor for the articles of impeachment. if passed a coast to the use senate for a trial expected to
