2:49 pm
people have different philosophies than i do so i am going libertarian. even though -- >> host: understand. david in alabama. david, what you make of the promises made by the president? do you believe he is cap the important ones for you?an >> caller: i believe he has. others may not feel that way but i've got it divided family also but my point is you saw the video that was showing dilapidated places in ohio and stuff like that and if you like our president has had note hada fair shake since he's been in office paid he needs another term. we also, the president is ahead of the united states u and thent goes down to the governors of the states and then it goes from the governors to the mayors and like here in birmingham they bought a bunch of houses on the

outside skirts and rated the entire intersection out through their and spend money but they bought all these houses and they expanded it out but they have not spent any money on places where people live. >> host: david, let me ask you what is most important issue for you that is motivating you to vote for the president. >> well, i cannot vote by support his way of doing things because it seems like he can talk to the people and you knowl because things coming around all these years and we may have stretched out some walls the needed repairs and you put new walls up but that is still the only wall. people don't see it that way.
2:51 pm
he did cut taxes and as it was forced like manufacturing and stuff like that but you know sometimes these people need to invest in their company to make it more efficient. >> host: david did you say you support him but you're not going to vote at all? >> caller: well, i'm not eligible to vote. >> host: all right. >> caller: but i support the measures he's taking. >> host: let's go to brian andgo boyle massachusetts supporting the biden harris ticket. >> caller: good morning. thank you for taking my call.ll what are his policies and what did he articulated or enumerated? this is very controversial. look at the newspapers. look, i'm aghast frankly at the power he's a demagogue and he's a bs artist and this is been elucidated and historical and that a frontline episode very
2:52 pm
interesting comparing the two candidates and i mean he's committed treason and caught committing treason trying to influence the ukrainian pay minister. he was withholdingn congress approved armaments for that country to get a favor for himself and i'm aghast he didin that. and i was on the heels of a two-year investigation into pop's possible corruption in his campaign wasn't proven but they not completely muller investigation not saying he was exonerated either. it's just amazing and you can hear him in voters they are just like he's wonderful and their minds are programmed by this man. rehe's completely dangerous. completely corrupt and caustic and we need to get him out and hopefully, hopefully the groundswell of people voting is going that way. >> host: okay. >> caller: he's incredible dangerous for the country.

>> host: bryant massachusetts. dennis in texas paid or david. what prize promises did he make that motivated you to vote for himm in 2016? >> caller: he built theca wall even though he had to go through 27 hoops to do it and is controlled immigration which is a part of in a way that no other president, and recent history has beenn able to, which has resulted in relays, real wage increases for the first time in decades, especially for the blue-collar and low income people, even prison and even people out of prison thatpl couldn't get jobs before and people without high school educations. he followed through on tax cuts. he renegotiated nafta without a magic wand, i might add. he renegotiated china deals. he used techniques and were still up in the air onward that's going but he made us energy independent for the first
2:54 pm
time in 75 years which is the biggest weapon in our bag to enable us to do foreign-policy without warfare. and do research on what james madison was the first president in history and probably the first clinical person history to try to engage in changing and other countries mind about how they dealt with another country without using warp and he tried economic sanctions but problem was he didn't have any military at all and moved the embassy to jerusalem. he exited the iran deal. if he had not done those two things there would be no peace agreements before these nations and additional peace agreements that will be happening. he got us out of the paris accord which, there are over 4000co i'm sorry, 5500 and this number i cannot believe. i had to research it. over 5500 coal-fired plants or i'm sorry what you call them -- in the world.
2:55 pm
u.s. has only 260 of them and none under construction. china has about 3500. we will be paying hundreds of billions of dollars for part of the paris peace accord but china does not pay anything until 2030s, russia and india all have numbers manipulated and it's a well transferred and destroys our economy and trump has kept a zillion promises. with the veterans administration and in four years they couldn't get it through to where you could fireu somebody who was incompetent. hundreds of thousands of veterans died waited in lines for years and also got the right to choose act for drugs but a lot of these things are things that aren't even on his list that like take for example the thing about the black schools about colleges. the dems financed them every year so what is the difference? the difference is trump gave them ten years where the money and more than they asked for so they don't have to keep coming
2:56 pm
back every year. the dems wanted them to keep coming back every year so they could keep getting them to vote for them and getting them to do things form. them. trump is a whole different ballgame. >> host: okay. david. listen to senator kamala harris and reno, nevada. she was there stumping yesterday and here is what she had to say about how joe biden and she would approach the economy versus the trump administration. >> joe biden says you want to ask me about how the economy is going, tell me how working people are doing? tell me how working families are doing? joe biden says we are not going to increase taxes on anyone making less than $400,000 a year and we are going to make sure that working families don't pay more than 7% of their income in childcare. and yes, we are going to raise minimum wage but we also know
2:57 pm
that's the minimum and we need to invest in what we can do in terms of innovation and building infrastructure and investing in good union pain jobs to build up the middle classas in america. on the other hand, you have donald trump who, when asked, how is the economy doing asked how is the stock market doing? how are rich people doing? he passes as one of his first orders of business a tax bill benefiting the top 1% in the biggest corporations in america. let mee tell you something. joe biden and i are about to get rid of that. >> host: senator harris and nevada yesterday. compare that to vice president mike pence who is in greenville, south carolina and here is what he had to say about the comparisons between president trump and joe biden on the matters of law enforcement. >> men and women serving in law enforcement are the best of us

3:01 pm
he has to strength to the human race. my son-in-law telling how they make a mockery in our country. trying to make it look like a dictator. america, please wake up open your eyes. our relatives are dying. people are sick and hungry in the homes. >> then, you are undecided. >> yes. you have a good show in your inquiring people's opinions. if you have a top level view of this, for what he said, i know he didn't accomplish the tax gap, he is not tied in to the working people. he just had a spoon and position
3:02 pm
to be successful so that issue aside, what he didn't do for the american people he didn't have enough leadership to see covid coming as early as november and december. he didn't even make an inquiry, i wanted to play it down. he didn't show any leadership that costing life and it's growing and growing in the cap, between the working class and middle class and the other class but it pushed him into that class. the therapeutics you and i would like to get, you are wrong. you wouldn't be able to get it. the focus should be not on if i kept my promise is when i just got elected, what did i do to deserve going to the next four years? i think he left the regular working class down when he didn't inquire, he could have
3:03 pm
done this low-key, could have sent the group over there in november. >> i've got it, but why are you still undecided? >> i'm going back and forth, i am listening to your speakers it's a situation freedom is about making your own decision and i think you are putting good platform for people should check into what he did but the majority of the working class. >> understand. in florida. hi, brett. have you voted? >> voted saturday for the first time since 1988. >> you didn't vote in 2016? >> no. i didn't. i cleaned my hands of a politician 1998 with george h.w. bush. have to give trump a little reward this time with beautiful

tax cuts prior to his beautiful tax cuts, i could get $10000 tax-free out of my ira. to me, taxing my money is a crime now, he went from $10 -- i mean, went from 10000 to 12,000. 12,000 400. i figure i give it more so i would like to know they talk about how the people have died from the virus but why didn't they just stop all these people? what have they done? nothing. >> john in west virginia supporting joe biden. good morning.
3:05 pm
>> good morning, how are you? >> why are you supporting former vice president? >> i think biden is just a more honest man. i am amazed people believe trump at all. we watched his television programs over the years and he doesn't relate to blue-collar america or the working man. he's never dug a hole in his life except for us to jump in. it's pretty basic, simple. he is totally concerned for the rich man. >> are you a lifelong democrat? >> yes. >> how did you -- did you bill vote for hillary clinton? >> i was, i didn't have as many problems with her as other people dead but i believe she is an intelligent woman. i am amazed we become so
3:06 pm
confused in this country we believe so many crazy outlandish lies gates and we are a country of conspiracies and this is bizarre. there was a time when i could look at republican president and respect that person and feel they deserve respect that they were doing the best they knew how and now it is so disrespectful and everybody is at each other's throats. the country is in bad shape, rioting and problems, the virus, here in west virginia, i have my friends were trump supporters but what has he really done for you? i hear about tax breaks for this or that but that only affects my rich friends. it is not affecting our working class people, they can't give me an answer. how many coal mines have you
3:07 pm
seen go back into production? how many new jobs over minimum wage? we are still under the poverty level. they brag about unemployment but most people have to have two jobs in this state, mostly in this country. >> usa today put the coal industry in the bracket of promises trump made that have yet to be realized. let me ask you this. why are you a democrat? >> when you are raised that way, i am somewhat liberal minded, fiscally conservative. democratically, the things i agreed with other it's racial equality or the working man or the small person, little guy -- [cheering]
