and then to see my mom on zoom. i cannot see you. that's all i can do. i spent so much time at home i even learned my kids names. my kids got so bored there watching my movies. they said they would never do that again. [laughter] hello. and then to go around the house and quarantine running around trying to get covid because it makes you lose weight. don't be like that. i know. i hate myself also. and then this was sold to me by clemente who lived here with his wife jennifer lopez. not so long ago i didn't know the difference between audible and edible now i've been narrating audiobooks for a few years and i love doing this. i love the interpretation and the money i love the voices for each character and the money. i love to get to know the writers unique voice and the money. have i mentioned the money? i mean real bank like

emotional rewards. i grew up in jackson heights and most of the kids that i grew up with that was the point right so that was the book of the year club so you better read it and the kids a know you read it. this is what you have to read. my parents were straight up immigrants and so big on reading and they made it impossible to read spanish books my father had maybe the whole encyclopedia before i got my bike. and the original audiobooks my father would scream out dante's inferno in the middle

of the journey. you paying attention, you idiot? pay attention you moron. and in high school i began going to the jackson heights library so i would read the cliff notes so just give me the highlights and tell me who died at the end. and then he dies in the world lives but then they died two. is a part of the territory it's over. then george killed money. boom. and frank dies but not until the postscript. even i was surprised by that. and these days i listen to audiobooks at the five x be so the fullest range of emotions

in the shortest range of time it's easier to sweat and even got through pride and prejudice under 40 minutes now asking me why jane austen did not narrate her own book didn't have the heart to tell her officially the apa does not speed listening that just between us in the past week i did hear the executive doing you like of course not every audiobook can be nominated for the audie vladimir putin narrating 50 shades of gray and then says i will now and then to position the direction

and of this influence i know it. it sounds pretty good this year no country for old men. and then reaching for the machine gun at the upper part and actually he makes the scene sounds sexy and may have turn myself fine. the great thing about audiobooks is. ♪♪ >> what makes audiobook so special. >> in a nutshell it is a way of escape and departure and away from ordinary life. >> i grew up in vietnam my mother used to tell me stories about the village. and had to leave home for studies i missed being pampered by her voice so i went listen to cassette tape of recorded stories. >> there are things you may have interpreted completely differently and you say it that way. okay i see what you are coming from. >> during the pandemic i escaped the city and spent a lot of time driving which means i got to spend our time listening to audiobooks which is the absolute single best

thing that has happened to me during the pandemic. >> it is one of the heartbeats of humans and how we communicate. audiobooks are just another way of taking that to the next level.
