you you know who our guest speaker is, so i'm not going to a pine about his qualifications credentials and achievements. which are both impressive and far too numerous to mention. so instead i'd like to point out just a few things that might have escaped your notice if you're anything like me when you saw this video you realize there's probably a side to james o'keefe you never knew. so having seen it you may not now be surprised to learn that in 2002. he was the lead in a stage

yay, we're only saying you're doing fine, oklahoma, okay. i sang that on a horse. all right. now i'm very optimistic person. i'm a very hopeful person. and i travel around the country and i encounter a lot of cynicism. and a lot of hopelessness and i hope over the next 30 minutes i can i can inspire you. just a little bit. and i did sing oh what a beautiful morning and i think that it's kind of a metaphor for where we are right now in this country. in that we are in some dark times. people are very divided and they shouldn't be on most things. so we are on this book tour.

we've written this book. i've written this book called american muckraker all proceeds go to project veritas our nonprofit organization and it's called muckraker. what is a muckraker? what is that word mean? it means a journalist who exposes information that powerful people don't want exposed releasing unauthorized information this country. is is founded on very unique principles? one of which is the first amendment. we talk about the first time but what is the first amendment mean? it means informed consent. it means you can't elect your people unless you know, what's going on. so i've written this book and it took me five years to write this book and i really thought a lot about principles and and values that we cherish and i'm trying to define how to be a truth teller how to how to speak the truth. in clown world, we're living in clown world. so i'm gonna get to our mission by the way our mission at project veritas is to expose them to expose waste fraud abuse

corruption. you'll remember the time i went in as a pimp with my female companion dressed like that. that's that's how we were dressed. and we go undercover into these institutions. we use pretense we use disguise because if we just go up to people and identify ourselves as reporters, they'll never tell us the truth. so we have to do these things where we you know, the last 12 years. i've been exposing these institutions and they've hit back at me hard, but this week something extraordinary happened president sucker at cnn resigned. she's waving the flag back there the american flag. and he did resign and he did some bad things more more of these things are to come out. and because the news organization cnn apparently doesn't really have any core values or behave ethically all these people now chris cuomo and jake tapper are attacking each other if you saw that um, and i

don't know where it's gonna happen. maybe cnn will actually get back to its mission of reporting the news stranger things things have happened, but we went undercover into cnn recently. like to believe that but not for what we did zucker would not be leaving this man. charlie chester was a control room. he is a control room director at cnn. i want to show you some videotape of him. this video was one of the biggest things veritas ever did charlie chester at cnn talking about cnn's mission. and by the way, he doesn't say that the most trusted name in news. charlie chester, it's in says they're a propaganda network designed to hurt donald trump. listen to this. i think i think we got him through this term. we would always hear shots of him. jogging. him and aviator shades and like it's like you paid him as a young geriatric. we were creating story.

so that's that's i think that's right. i believe it that if it wasn't for cnn. i don't know that trump would have got voted out or focus was to get trump out of office right without it saying it that's what it was right there. he makes the admission our focus to get trump to help biden to put aviators shades on biden to make them look cool. and he says quote without saying that's what our focus is. so right there you you see what our mission is. we need more of these things cnn the most james earl jones the most trusted name of news. why isn't it cnn quote? our focus is to get trump out. so i don't have you know, listen, i don't if you want to be a propaganda network. that's your right. just call yourself a propaganda network. but they don't so we have to use hidden cameras. this guy did not know he was

being recorded in this clip. he talks about the covid pandemic being gangbusters for cnn's ratings because it's all about fear right? it's all about money. it's not about science, but don't take my word for it. let me quote cnn's control room director covid. yang busters covid yang busters, right and they put the numbers on the screen the death toll you can't turn on sam. i mean, i don't think anybody here watch. i don't think anybody watches cnn they have like 17 viewers most of them in airports. but their content there there. this stuff is shared on instagram and facebook and twitter and google news feeds the tech companies share it but here you have the death numbers with wolf blitzer and chester says we do this intentionally we put the death toll on the screen to make it higher. he says we need more people to die so that our ratings can go

up at organizations like cnn and many people in this room people come to you james. what's behind this? i'm showing you what's behind it. this is the the media machine trying to scare you so they can make money get ratings and do what they do, but don't take my word for it. let me quote the guy behind the curtain which is why let's make it higher like isn't it high enough, you know today like it would make our point better if it was hot guys literally wanting the deaths to be higher. why isn't it higher? we need more people to die? this is this is what this is our media. it's disgrace. it's a disgrace. you already know this but the more we can expose this the better. see information is accountability. it we need more information. you can elect all the people you want to elect it office, but unless you can change people's hearts and mind including in

your state of california where you failed to recall your governor. that means that people in your state voted vote disagree with you. so unless you can change their hearts and minds you're not going to be able to fix the issues that you're having. because many of those people believe what they see on cnn okay, so it's really an information war and that's not an easy thing to hear. we want easy solutions throw money at politicians fix it right away. but as long as you have people that believe what they read and what they see you're gonna have the same problems. so at veritas, we have a lot of fun one of the best things we ever did was this. i don't know if you saw this. we have whistleblowers everywhere. we have informants everywhere. that may be why the fbi came to my house. i don't know but another frequently asked question james. what's next my response?

particularly your public school teachers now our model has changed in the beginning we would have to infiltrate now the people on the inside come to us and someone had sent us a picture of of a classroom and sacramento with the the teacher was hanging a picture of chairman mao. and antifa flag in the classroom i found that interesting. so we sent. one of our brave undercover journalists to meet with this guy. his name is gabriel guy. this is an august of 2021 and met with him. and recorded him talking about how he wants to turn his students. into revolutionaries. this is at a coffee shop in sacramento by underneath everybody was scared the f out of the students he says and send them to events where they'll get extra credit.

for protesting with antifa. i wonder if the parents know about this when they go they take pictures. they write up a reflection. that's there. like i have an antifa flag on my roof on my wall and as student complained about that and you said it made them feel uncomfortable. well, it's meant to make fastest feeling uncomfortable. so you feel uncomfortable. i don't really know what he's doing here. he wants to make your students feel uncomfortable. so we confronted this man in the street in his neighborhood and he told us that we were making him feel uncomfortable gabriel. hello. how are you? i am a journalist with project veritas nice to talk with you. don't don't mind my colleague reporting we are recording but i think you're going to be more interested in what i have to say here. there is saying isn't feel comfortable by the way. he's got it hammer and sickle shirt on. i mean this guy's at high school teacher. communist he was even he was

even stamping homework assignments with with a stalin's face. and this is this was actually happening and and it happened and they and they saw i mean, they knew that it was happening. they did nothing. it wasn't until veritas showed up with recordings of the man that everyone got outraged and that's the real scandal. why are the people at the school still there? so we released this video but something really amazing happened. there were school board meetings the next day. at intercom, sacramento, california hundreds of parents flooded the school board meetings and what when i had there when there's there was ever a moment in you know, the trajectory of project veritas that really defined what we're all about. it's it's causing that what ida tarbell originally termed an andrew breitbart the name of his book righteous indignation. you have to get people who don't agree with you everyone in this room agrees.

i'm preaching to the choir and that's okay. but you have to give people who don't agree with you to agree with you if you want to affect change. so what you're about to see is that these people are not like you not necessarily they're not necessarily republicans. they're not democrats. they're not necessarily activated at all in politics. they're just angry and they're angry mama bears. and they're seeing their kids their kids being affected by this this dangerous whether it's communism or fascism or whatever you want to call it abuse. a form of child abuse and and i'm gonna play this clip. i really like this woman and what she says and then a couple other parents again organic righteous passionate people that are just --. and in two weeks in 13 days, he was allowed to change my daughter's mind about some fascist -- that y'all have led in this school.

i'm tired. this is ridiculous. i'm from texas. this does not go on in, texas. there are two grades higher than california period so to think that my very sound-minded daughter would go against me and my wishes and our values in our home to be able to go and support this man and he is putting her in harm's way. what the hell are y'all doing? it goes on and on these parents were just so outraged and it got to such a it just it was really one of the most admit we live stream this board meeting on instagram and they flooded in for parents. need to flood this is right around the time the other board meetings happen in virginia. what's posed about gabriel guy by project veritas is exactly what i was concerned about happening at babcock elementary and let me tell you.

why because there's another teacher right down the road and leroy green academy who did the same thing to my son. there's a lot of teachers in california doing this. they just need to be exposed. now what was interesting about this is the the actually in california, which is a very difficult state to fire a 10 year teacher. they actually fired this teacher after we exposed it. and local news covered it look this is local cbs 13 the past month gabriel guy has been put on paid administrative leave tonight the school board making an official decision to fire him. so a lot of people say james, how do you get the information out there? that's another question. i was asked in the hallway here. where do you distribute your videos and i say cbs news distributes my videos. see, you're not thinking big enough. you guys do i see it on breitbart? sure. you'll see on bright or do i see it on fox? well, hopefully but i want i

want them to talk about it. okay. and and you say well that's impossible. no, it's not possible. i'm showing you that it is possible. but it requires getting information. that is so powerful that they can't ignore it. so that's really our mission, isn't it? it's to get information. that's visual and from not you know text. or speeches or white papers or articles but visual information. there's a chapter in this book american mockery called image. where i say image obviously images transfix and they are more powerful than the spoken word. so there are some things as a country. i still think we are united on very few, but you don't you don't abuse children you don't brag about it. and there are certain things. i think if we can focus on then we can get things like this to happen and you might say well that's just one teacher and i say well, you're not gonna change the world on a new york minute. it's gonna it's gonna take a little while. you have to expose all of them

and we needed an army of these of these exposures these grassroots people veritas veritas is a lot of incredible people coming to us and one recent one involved in documents from the defense department. this is i don't know if you saw the story now. we have whistleblowers everywhere. we have sources everywhere and people give us documents inside the department of defense. literally the pentagon papers his interesting i said yesterday. i don't even know the so called pentagon papers from the 1970s with the new york times even published those these days if it made the administration look bad. i don't know. but a lot of these sources have nowhere else to go. they really don't have anywhere to go to so they come to us and in these documents you had revelations about gain of function research that was approached to darpa was approached by equal health

alliance to do research on bat-born coronaviruses, and it was rejected. because it was too dangerous according to the department of defense documents also say that anthony fauci was approached and approved it under his leadership at ni aid these documents are accurate. that would mean that anthony fauci lied under oath. and this was authored by a marine corps major named joseph murphy at the department of defense. he was not the source of the documents to us, but he did author them and he actually issued a statement to me when i when i when we approached him for comment and listened to what this marine corps major who wrote these documents again, not the source of the information listen to what he said to us james o'keefe asked this person, you know, would you like to make a comment about this video and here is what this marine said. i offer no comments on the investigation or internal marine corps deliberations. i offer a brief comment to those that desire answers and to those

hope for the country. it's the only option which is the mission. so i think you're going to see more hint more people in the government coming forward with this information. and we have to have those people's backs. we have to defend them when they come forward. okay. so now you know, it's an i know that mr. rogan is having some issues these days. i gave this advice yesterday and say rogan double down double down. stop apologizing. don't apologize. there's nothing to apologize for. i saw this morning rumble offered rogue in a hundred million dollars to go to rumble from spotify. i think mr. rogan should have me on his podcast. they could be a great podcast. but anyways, here's what he had to say about this anthony fauci darpa stuff, and it really is

interesting. they ask you to reject the evidence of your own eyes and ears. don't they? they ask you to trust them by virtue of the decree that they are credible by virtue of their own decree. so it's really a self-anointed racket. so i'm not going to trust that video because it's that veritas guy. okay. well, it's not me. it's the document. are you saying the documents are fake? but this is what they do. see, that's the propaganda. they ask you to trust the new york times in the washington post by virtue of the decree that they are credible because they say so and they never show you any evidence. that trump tax return story which was the new york times bombshell which coincided with our minnesota story a year ago. they didn't show you any on the record sources. they didn't show you any video. they didn't they didn't even show you any documents. but they ask you to trust them. and we have no reason to trust them. we have no reason to trust the media says joe rogan. he had o'keefe from project veritas on the other day and

that's like that that guys the boogeyman toe left. he's exposing threats to democracy. he's exposing real live corruption. he's exposing real live conspiracies. yeah, and they're like, you know, but it's veritas even if what he's saying is a -- threat somehow or another decided that an individual can be like you could it's almost like a cure to the reality of whatever he's exposing like you could say. oh, it doesn't matter because it's james o'keefe and he put that on top of the thing and it all goes away. yeah, exactly. wild. it's i think they're gonna continue to attack us until they stop attacking us but or continue to question. our credibility but the results speak for themselves the results speak for themselves. even dr. fauci even this man was in.

this guy was in the senate after those documents came out and confirmed the authenticity of the documents and even mentioned us by name project veritas. what came out last night on project veritas was a grant that was submitted to doctors. so we got to keep exposing what's going on inside and you're gonna ask me. how do we do that? i'm giving you a roadmap the book talks about it. it's about getting people inside to come public which is a really hard thing to do requires sacrifice requires pain. requires perseverance and you know and also the first chapter of my book is called suffering. you might say why did you write a chapter about that? well, i'm glad you asked. three months ago the fbi came to

my house. this is the second time in my life that the fbi has put me in handcuffs. and i'm a journalist. i may be the only man you'll ever know who's not a gangster or a mobster or a terrorist. who has had this happen to him on multiple occasions? it happened in 2010 in new orleans. i wrote a whole other book about that. um, and i was innocent. but i was falsely accused. incarcerated put on probation eventually. i got a misdemeanor for that incident in new orleans where i was showing up asking questions and then last year or a year before a year about a year and a ago or so? we were approached by a source with joe biden's daughter's diary. woman named ashley bid many people don't realize joe biden has a daughter named actually biden and someone approached us with her diary. and we looked into it. we saw the diary we decided not to publish a diary.

we couldn't verify with certainty. it was actually hers and i didn't want to publish something. and then blow up project veritas by publishing something. that wasn't real. so and there's another other reasons for not publishing it we did we did approach joe biden for comment. we even tried to give the diary to actually biden her lawyer. they wouldn't receive it. so he gave it to law enforcement in florida where it was found. a year later two f or fbi agents show up the house of two of my colleagues. on november 3rd i make a statement about this. this is a ridiculous this i'm we're not going to be intimidated by this. we're going to keep doing our jobs the southern district of new york. this is the federal federal court in southern new york state where i live. was behind this and i said, i'm not going to be intimidated by this. maybe their goal is to intimidate us. maybe their goal is to scare us. maybe their goal is to get access to our phones. and then on saturday.

november 5th, november 6th, i hear a knocking on my door at 6 am. by the fbi and you know, they're they're banging on my door, you know open up fbi, right and and i i run to the door open the door and there's there's 10 to 12 agents with flashlights in my faces. and and when when that happened i was immediately taken back to my last encounter with the feds 10 years ago, and i said, oh we go again. and they put me in handcuffs. this is three four months ago november november 6th, and they threw me against the hallway wall in my apartment building my two bedroom apartment in about an hour north of new york city. and they put me in handcuffs and put me on my couch. and proceeded to show me a search warrant signed by a magistrate judge federal lower federal judge in new york city. and i and i could not understand why this was happening. you know as a reporter, i have a right to receive documents from

anybody. so long as i didn't participate in the obtaining of them. that's as american as apple pie. the supreme court has protected the right of journalists to receive such documents. some have claimed this diary was stolen. i didn't know if it was. but even if it was i had nothing to do with that and i didn't publish it. so this is running through my head as i'm sitting there these fbi agents running through my home with this warrant that was signed by a judge. why did the judge sign that warrant? i don't know. and they left the home and this is a pretty i'll be honest with you. it was certainly scary. maybe even this is why people don't do what i do because you all fear this happening to you if you do what i do and isn't that the point isn't that their goal? so really this is about fear, isn't it? that you can't solve the problems that you want to solve unless you eliminate the

underlying problem, which is your fear. not my fear. i'm i've been born again. i'm very i'm afraid of very little but i see my countrymen are so afraid. okay, we're all going to die one day. i was asked two days ago i get asked these questions that are so hard like aren't you gonna end up like julian assange? i mean, i don't even know know how to answer that. i mean am i gonna end up in solitary solitary confinement? i don't know. but we're all gonna die. it's the only certainty death and taxes. so i'm gonna follow my conscience and do the right thing. that's thing. that's what i'm gonna do. that's how that's that. people. say how to use. how do you get any rest? well, that's how i sleep at night because i do follow my conscience. so on that day in my apartment building. yes, i was in danger you could say i was in danger when you're whenever you're like incarcerated or in handcuffs or

you have federal agents a pounding on your door with a battering ram. it's safe to say that you're in danger. so this happens and it was a gross violation. of my constitutional rights your constitutional rights because the first amendment is the right in the bill of rights that make all of her other rights possible if you don't have an informed population you have nothing if they are doing this to journalists in this country you're screwed. so in your next and i just want to play a few clips of some commentators talking about why that is two properties linked to project veritas have been rated by federal agents project veritas. they are a news organization. are they not? yeah, they are a news organization. they should be treated as such project veritas did the right thing they didn't publish this because they couldn't verify the authenticity of the documents. what is so bewildering about this is why the world are the feds even involved in this. let's assume it's a theft or a

burglary. that's a federal crime. also tucker had some comments about it, but most amazingly in the point that o'keefe makes is the one that stands since when does the fbi respond to domestic burglaries? can you call the doj the next time you're car gets broken into? oh, you're not the president's drug addicting kid. okay. got it. this is totally third world and it's an attack on press freedom. so this happens, of course, i'm sitting there in my apartment, you know holding search warrant and then minutes later. guess who i get a text message from the new york times. which somehow knows all the details we say with the neighbors. well, the neighbors wouldn't know that the subjects of a grand jury subpoena. the neighbors wouldn't know the things listed on the search warrant, but somehow mike schmidt national security report with the new york times knows about some of these things and i'm still sitting there. in a state of shock and that's the problem our our media is working in concert with our fbi.

how is that left wing what is liberal about it's illiberal? there's nothing liberal about that. people say you're right wing. okay, so in a world where pharmaceutical companies the fbi and the new york times are working in harmony. i don't even know what that is. it's it's certainly not liberal, but i'm sitting there, you know dealing with this going through my head but something extraordinary happened on november 9th. just just three days after the raid. a brave reporter at the new york times of all places the same institution trying i guess to destroy us a projector by the way the new york times doesn't i don't know what they're doing. they've written like 12 front page hit pieces about me. they're not they should be investigating the government. but one of their reporters a different reporter ben smith who works in the media columnist. a brave reporter. actually, i give him credit he tweeted out. i don't think journalists should be cheerleading the raid on

james o'keefe. he defended us. and he got attacked for it, but after that happened we had other people defend us edward snowden trevor tim freedom of the press perspective. i'm sorry. i'm read the tweet to you. i'm sorry, but this is worrying from a press freedom perspective unless and until the department of justice releases evidence that veritas was involved in the theft which we weren't. because if there's none then these fbi raids are a violation of the privacy protection act. he followed up. i know i'm gonna get two doesn't replies ratioing my tweet, but it keeps not a journalist and he says read the statue doesn't matter. i don't personally like o'keefe for veritas, but imagine if this was a liberal organization under donald trump by the way, trump never rated a journalist home before like the biden's department of justice did also, we had other organizations come to our defense. we had politico fbi raid on veritas home sparks questions about press freedom.

the speech speaking of of the new york times. we have sued them for defamation and we scored a huge victory defamation lawsuit against the new york times. so again your question is how do we hold them accountable? that's what you're nothing ever happens to these people you're looking at an organization that does hold them accountable we do things but then they fight they hit hard. championship prize fight right they knocked me down. what's important is that we get back up. and we don't stop so this new york times lawsuit involved an article written about us. this article was in september of 2020. and the headline was project veritas releases misleading video part of what experts call a coordinated disinformation campaign. i don't know who these experts

are. so this is what they do. rather than address the evidence. they just call up some professor at stanford or wherever and the professor says yeah, he's a dissonant. what is what even mean? is that mean that the evidence is not true? it's hard to know the in this tape number is don't like numbers don't like what would you like? what what up some ballots? it's certainly looks like evidence of voter fraud to me. i mean this guy there's even one tape when people say where's the voter fraud you're looking at voter fraud. i mean it's an anecdotal piece of voter fraud, but it is in fact a criminal act that you are looking at in minneapolis where this is recorded in this recording you actually see it in the act you see a voter or a ballot harvester rather give money to a voter in exchange for about it. that's a federal felony. okay, so there there is indeed

fraud. obviously. there's going to be frauds in various places and we release this and the new york times attacks me as a disinformation expert. i am so it is it is it's definitely hard to digest and one of the things they wrote in this article was quote. project curtas making claims without evidence i haven't made any claims i have making no claims. i'm showing you a video recording of an interaction between two people. so but this is what they do. they they write these and you say why is this the way it is this is what they do. and as a result of this new york times article the audit as a result of this new york times article facebook banned the video. i just showed you because facebook uses the new york times as their fact checkers. okay, and that and and the

circle of propaganda is complete. so what do you do about it? we sue the new york times and we scored a victory against them. and the gen this is a recording the words. this is the well, there's these are the words from the judge in the supreme court of the state of new york saying that it was the new york times that engaged in disinformation and deception. listen to this. the articles that are the subject of this action called the video quote deceptive, but the dictionary definitions of quote disinformation and deceptive provided by defendant's council certainly apply to asters and shoes failure to note that they injected their opinions and news articles as they now claim they injected their opinion in a news article and that opinion was used by what's they claim? it's an opinion.

we sue them for defamation, but facebook is banning the video. based on an opinion well, think about that's that's precisely the very disinformation and misinformation. they're projecting on to me. so we have to do something now. here's another clip from this is on christmas eve. the judge ruled against the new york times. somehow the new york times got access to my attorney client privilege documents after the fbi raid. they published those documents. i mean, these are the documents written by the attorney representing me in the lawsuit against the new york times. this is dystopian. this is orwellian. this is science fiction, but it's not science fiction. it's real life. and the judge saying that the new york times vile that they are sanctioned. they should not be publishing these attorney-client privilege documents for the record. this is index number six three nine two one of 2020 project veritas versus new york times company. i'm cognizant of the fact that there is there are basically two

years ago. they were they were betting on the fact that i would settle the lawsuits and give up. but they quickly realized in the discovery in the discovery part of a lawsuit you get to depose them. that's a under oath deposition for 10 12 hours. sometimes well, you're at where you're cross-examined. and when their cross-examined this woman was a worked with in the 2016 election on behalf of hillary clinton and we did a story about what they were doing. they sued us thinking that i would back down. well, we eventually won that lawsuit, but in the discovery part was really fasting to see how they care how they conduct themselves and now you will see in a way that words cannot explain just how devastating a videotaped deposition can be against our adversaries.
