only two years to live. at the time the survivability rates hovered around 4%. after five surgeries, 19 rounds of radiation, more than 100 rounds of chemotherapy to continue to this day. manager for that company. last year recognized as one of the most powerful women in sports. today speaking on behalf of. also ambassador for the boston red sox in baseball for all, founding member of the international women's baseball center and the inspiration between the prime video television series. her current project is to build a woman's facebook so girls and women can have a place of their own. we thank her for her advocacy and her mark in history. was was represent by ana presley is here. i also note the young survival coalition for those of you who are not aware of the good work it is a premier organization for people 40 and younger who are affected by a breast cancer diagnosis. bullet about young young breast cancers in young adults are become that young survival.org. a breast cancer can affect anyone. i know that. it is further complicated such as factors of age, income. young survivors. [inaudible] okay, first up on the members team is sure reese davis. you will hear her walk on song you've got to be.

represented davis earned a bachelors degree in business administration. she began competing and mixed martial arts in 2006. she tried out for ultimate fighter she did not make it on the show so she became a member of congress instead. it's a flyball. it is dropped. it is dropped she is going to second period she's back in second period we do not ever announce errors. her walkout song is a fight like a girl. she was the mvp of 2011 and her battle with breast cancer was impotence behind choosing the young survival coalition as the games beneficiary. the clever little stoppage in play doodle they protest in the outfield. and of fossil fuels is what emceeing on the shirts and a team full of journalists in the outfield. we are going to get the story up momentarily. >> as we are waiting i went to talk about debbie wasserman schultz. she has been an advocate for early breast cancer screening.

year it's an incredible event for an incredible journey. they have raised millions and millions of dollars. that is why this event is so important. it literally saves lives. there was a record last year. every year they been breaking fundraising records. this is a charity event. to raise money for awareness for people who have breast cancer for breast cancer prevention. i remember senator 15 or 16 years ago we went to play this game we went to play members of congress against the press. i said that's a great idea but i don't have a go of it. [laughter] and here we are.

[inaudible] raising numbers and how important this game is. it's 2009 we have raised more than $3.7 million for the young survival coalition. that is why the game must go on. going to announce some of the other members who are here. we are so excited they have joined us in the house is a minority leader hakeem jeffries.
