this requires more and more cash. you are driven to things you never would have considered by your insatiable need for the drug. fiber has viable -- collapsed. you are an addict. your total effort in life is to obtain money to feed your habit. you are launched on a full-scale teenage crime wave of your own. your tolerance increases. to make youelps appear normal and dispel the symptoms of withdrawal. nightmare of the addict. you live in constant fear of not having enough heroine to keep your habit supplied. begin,e first symptoms runny nose, you cannot get another fix, you will know you are about to begin a living hell. you are burning up. you are freezing. the pains begin.

each nerve is laid bare. your whole being is like one giant nerve, raw and exposed to every outside stimulus. this withdrawal can go on for a week before the pain subsides. for this you steal and live a life of degradation and crime. in your thirst for money, you become careless and mike is caught. on your own. you must support your habit and the best way you can. you live in a jungle of fear. you are forced to deal with eric along. mike is no longer there to help. erik laughs. he tells you to get money, money, and more money. you are not prepared to take a job. no job would pay the kind of money you now need. you have yourself a $50 a day habit. you cannot support that.

c-span's documentary contrast is in full swing. we are asking students what is the most important issue for the new president and congress to address in 2017? joining me is ashley lee. actually, tell us a little bit about your documentary. >> my partner and i produced a documentary where we covered the issues of homeless veterans on the streets of orange county. we decided that these people have fought for our country, and the fact that they are living on the streets, not having anyone to care for them, was not ok. we decided that we were going to talk about this issue within our community, and we decided to make a documentary about it. i encourage all seniors and juniors in high school, even middle schoolers to use this
