if they took a billy club and hit them in the knees, there's no attacks. i've heard the same people say that the president attacks people, but they call on a criminal, and say he doesn't care about the people, he hates other countries, he's a failure, effort all these things. i've wrote them down as i heard them, so democratic collars, when you talk about the president attacking people, don't endure call with an attack. you look kind of goofy. >> let's hear from our democrats. we'll go to eaton in charleston, south carolina. >> hello, hi, yes, i'll respond very quickly about the attacks from the president, a typical american saying that they're fine with the president is doing is wrong. when you use

based upon the facts. these people that are testifying are reputable people. it seems to me the people that support trump, and god bless you for supporting him, you can support what you want, but in their minds, he cannot do anything wrong, even counting the mounting evidence that we hear and the testimony, and everything that he has done and set since he has been in office. i mean, it's just amazing. they tried to blame the democrats for what's happening to the country, they need to look in the mirror at the same time as they say those things like that. >> do you think there's any disconnect between the way the president sometimes talks about the witnesses for, instance, miss ivanovich last week, the former ambassador to ukraine, and help some of the republican witnesses treat their witnesses?

>> there's a link. that's it mr. trump's strategy. i'll give you credit for being skillful on selling a line, or influencing people with soundbites. you know, the witch hunt, the hoax, the phony bologna, the democrats are tied to the media or whatever, it carries a lot of weight with his base. i understand that. but the fact of the matter is is that it's factually false. >> let's go to vanessa, who is calling from new york on the independent line. vanessa, good morning. >> hi, how are you. >> i'm fine, thank you. >> i just wanted to say, looking at all the information that has come out, as objectively as possible, and it has been confirmed by all the witnesses that has been an appropriate pattern of behavior. unfortunately, rather than asking about, that they

sounded in large part like opinion and speculation over the meaning of the events without any real sound legal issue with the president. the disappointment is that so much time it's being spent on this issue, and no time being spent on things like usmca and military issues, and so on. i think that the ambassador was very clear in his efforts to try and help mr. trump understand the situation with
