week to finish his testimony. mike walters of tmz joins with us more on the story. what's the document in question? it is a refusal to transport document? >> right. when this whole thing happened and ambulance was at the house and his son was really hanging onto life at that point, what they do is they give you a piece of paper that you sign that basically if you don't want your son or your family member to be transported by ambulance, which not a lot of people would do that, if you don't want them to, you can sign it and apparently john signed this document. this person allegedly took the document that he signed, which was a big deal when this happened that john wanted to take his kid on his private jet and get out of the bahamas and not go to the hospital, he took this document and tried to extort him and charged him for it. what's really interesting, we found out today that there's apparently secret videotapes. this will be the smoking gun in the case. two secret videotapes where this

person had gone to somebody who is a lawyer in the bahamas and said we need to ask for money. this is worth millions of dollars. if it goes public, it will be bad for them. they started to extort him and had secret meetings about money and fun enough on the tape they are arguing over money that they should get $25 million or more. that's what they agreed on. >> a key witness is said to be injured, right, in this secret taping is no longer available for trial? >> the police sting that's a sticky situation. we don't know what happened but one of the witnesses in the sting tapes was a cop and now he's been seriously injured in weird circumstances. we're trying to figure out what happened to him. like i said, these two if this tape gets admitted to court, this is bad for both of them. in the next few days a motion

paper and not have him go to the hospital and have all of that stuff done. he wanted to take him to his private jet and get him home because he wasn't alive. whether he was or not, we were not there. that's one of the issues and i don't know why -- i'm in the media. i can tell you even if we did get that document or someone would buy it, it's not worth that money any way. that's the mistake they made. no one would buy something like that that doesn't mean anything. he refused to transport. so what. they made a huge mistake and got caught on tape allegedly if the tapes get into court this will be -- >> travolta is heading back home for now and will appear again at the trial. mike wahle thank you. the new senator has a strong kennedy connection. we'll find out what it is on hln news and views.
