police in san diego are switching lanes on drag racing and hoping to make it safer. yesterday drivers lined up for the annual law enforcement drag race. it was a sanctioned race and the aim here is to offer teens an alternative to dangerous, illegal street racing. >> we are trying to keep a safer community, safer streets, and they need to bring it on to a track. racetrack, not street. it works.
