hey, good morning, it's saturday, i'm natasha curry, thank you for joining us for watching hln news and views. a manhunt is underway in cleveland, ohio for this man, anthony solo. when they got inside his home, they found two decomposing bodies june stairs and a freshly dug grave in the basement with another body in it. police then searched in and around the house and found three more bodies. none of the bodies has been identified but people who live in the neighborhood are worried about who was bore buried in so home. >> sowell was convicted of a 1983 rape and served 15 years in prison. the stock markets took a dive that we haven't seen in quite a while. all three major indexes went down yesterday and the dow had its biggest one-day drop in half

a year. the government said that consumer spending went down in september, the first time in five months. at the same time, personal incomes remain flat, some economists worry the recovery could run out of steam if consumers start spending less. president obama is getting more advice as he considers his next move in afghanistan. the president met yesterday with the joint chiefs of staff and other top military advisors. this comes in the deadliest month for u.s. forces there. sources tell cnn each branch of the military got a chance to explain the impact of sending more troops. the army and marine corps have expressed concerns that it would be tougher to give troops promised time at home with their families. hope is dimming for rescuers looking for survivors from a collision between the coast guard plane and a marine helicopter. nine people were on board the two aircraft. the crash happened overnight thursday off the coast of san diego right after civilian air traffic controllers turned over

communications to military air traffic controllers. california officials say they are going to try to reopen the san francisco-oakland bay bridge on monday. but they say they can't guarantee it even though they'll be working the whole weekend to repair it. the bridge was closed on tuesday after three steel pieces fell off of it in the middle of rush hour, right into traffic. they crashed right into the lanes and injured one person. the bridge carries about 280,000 vehicles per day. a powerful lawmaker is taking a gamble and pushing for a so-called public option in the senate health care bill. this week senator majority leader harry reid took his pitch to the internet. and as dana bash reports, this may not be just about health care but also about reid's political survival. >> reporter: a call to action, posted on youtube. >> make sure you contact your representatives back here in washington and push hard. we want a health care bill that

halftime of last night's pistons-thunder game, a group called the spare tires dancing to michael jackson's thriller, they're pretty good, really. no word on what they have planned for tonight. that's sports. okay, this one's no halloween prank. a deer came crashing through the roof of an apartment flex and then decided to take a dip in the indoor pool. >> it was his lucky day, avoiding all the traffic, surviving the jump through the roof, swimming the laps. >> now check out video from the security camera, you can see the deer walk around the pool a few times, then jumping on in. and at some point it looks like he's swimming laps here, doesn't it? the maintenance supervise was able to come rar the deer to the shallow end. after about 15 minutes of swimming, he walks up the steps and takes off.

nine banks, all part of the same major holding company have shut their doors. that brings the total to 115 banks closed by the feds so far this year. an average of ten banks have failed every month in 2009. but that is still nowhere close to the 1989's record high of 534 bank closures which took place during the savings and loan crisis. a tanker here has stopped leaking oil into san francisco bay. the leak started yesterday morning when a fuel line ruptured on a panamian fuel canker. hundreds of gallons of oil have spilled into the bay. officials are telling people not to swim in the bay and to avoid

local beaches. pirates want $7 million for a british husband and wife kidnapped while aboard their yacht last week. but the couple's government will not pay off. they say they do not make deals with hostage takers. they set sail from the sechelle islands. the couple are being held on a hijacked spanish ship. anna nicole smith's former boyfriend and two doctors are going on trial a california judge ruled yesterday that there is enough evidence to try them, they're accused of conspiring to illegally give her controlled substances and to giving drugs to a known addict. but howard stern and the doctors say they didn't know she was addicted and they were trying to help her.

their arraignment is scheduled for december 11. police are looking for a woman who allegedly ran an illegal dental practice. when police went to her apartment in connecticut they say they found dental instruments, syringes and completely unsanitary conditions. get this, she worked on patients while they were sitting in a beach chair. >> this appears to be a facility that possibly lower income or persons that didn't have access to the normal health care facilities that you or i would use. trying to get some dental work done. >> now police say they found some documents suggesting that the woman had dental training but it's unclear whether those documents are legitimate. three american hikers detained in iran have received their second visit since being arrested. their families stay that swiss diplomats spent about 40 minutes with them on thursday. switzerland handled that visit

two lawsuits have been filed following that sweat lodge tragedy in arizona. the family of one of three people who died filed a wrongful death suit and a woman who was badly hurt is also suing. both suits accuse motivational speaker and retreat leader james arthur ray as well as the owners of the lodge of negligence and fraud. the lodge co-owners say there is nothing wrong with the facility itself and she played no party in how that ceremony was run. an attorney for ray haslem n no commented on the suits. dick cheney told -- newry released fbi documents show that cheney replied to many questions whi with "i do not recall." the scandal became known as plame-gate. the leak came after her husband criticized the bush administration in its run up to the invasion in iraq.

the eegs-giants game moved up from 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on sunday. both stadiuming chair parking and getting eagles fans out and phillies fans in could be dicey even with public transportation. tonight's usc-oregon showdown will be more than just what the ducks wear. the season opening loss to boise state now ranked in the top ten as is usc. the ducks could give game three of the world series competition for viewers. show up late for the game, that's the cry of one cleveland browns fans who wants empty seats for the monday night kick off to send a message to team ownership that they're unhappy about this team. the browns are 1 and 6. trust me, this is not from michael jackson's "this is it"

innocent, the subject line session check your bank deposit insurance coverage, if you see that, don't even open it, delete it, it is not from the fdic, it's from the bad guys. the e-mail basically says type in your information here and you can check and see if your money is safe, if it's insured. that sounds good, they don't really mean safe, they mean safe from them. phishing attacks tripled from may to secht according to ibm. just getting a hold of your e-mail account and password they can find ways and maybe even worm into our bank account. keep your money safe and remember no reputable company asks you for sensitive information through an e-mail. you can always go to the company's website and login that way if you want to check something. i'm jennifer westhoven looking out for you. >> if you want to get more great money advice, each weekday on

overturns on interstate 75. some 39 morehouse college students were inside that bus when 2 flipped. several people on the bus were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, including one person who was trapped. >> we did have one that was trapped in the bus for a period of time that we considered critical until we could get them extricated. then we downgraded that patient to a non-critical patient. >> the bus was one of three going to south georgia to the morehouse/albany state game. the other bus was not involved. police say a car may have cut off the bus causing the bus driver to lose control. rain also made the roads slick. it wasn't clear if that was a factor. the bus ended up on its side in a ditch. we're going to bring you more as this story develops. and someone saw this man walking on the street and called authorities. he was taken into custody without incident.

on thursday cleveland police went to arrest so is an sowell on charges of rape and assault, he wasn't there but police found two decomposing bodies upstairs and a freshly dull grave in the basement with another body in it. police searched in and around the house and found three more bodies. none were identified. people who live in the neighborhood are worried about who was in sowell's home. >> i pray to god that it's not my cousin, and if it is my cousin, i'm sorry. >> authorities say sowell served 15 years in prison for a 1989 rape conviction. two canadians who are wanted by the fbi have been arrested by canadian authorities. mohammed al sahli and yassir ali kahn taken into custody in ontario. the were two members of a mosque in detroit. the leader of the mosque had extreme anti-government views and encouraged followers to commit violence. they also say he wanted to create an islamic state with the with the united states.

abdullah died in a shootout with fbi agents wednesday. it was said he resisted arrest and fired a gun. the mosque denies he was part of a radical islamic group. a tanker has stopped leaking oil into the san francisco bay. the leak started yesterday morning when a fuel line ruptured on a panamanian tanker. this during a fuel transfer. the san francisco mayor says hundreds of gallons of oil has spilled into the bay. the coast guard organized a massive response to the spill. >> rather than trying to estimate exactly what it was what we responded to, we responded as though it were a big spill and we mobilized irrespective of the reporting quantity. we don't pay too much attention to that initial volume. it just doesn't work. initial volumes are never correct. so while there may have been a lower report out there initially, it did not affect the way we responded. it responded as though it were a much larger spill.

thursday up, friday down. way down. the stock market's got clobbered with the dow jones industrial average losing nearly 250 points. negating thursday's big really and then some. news consumer spending dropped dragged the markets down. since topping out on the 1th of the month, the s&p dropped more than 5.5%. president obama says the u.s. economy is moving in the right direction. in his weekly address the president put out fresh signs of economic growth and noted that the economic stimulus package created or saved a million jobs. still, he said more needs to be done to create new jobs. >> economic growth is no substitute for job growth and we will likely see further job losses in the coming days. the fact that's both troubling for our economy and heartbreaking for the men and women who finally find themselves out of work, but we will not create the jobs we need
