the most powerful advocate right now are the parents for those children. the same with the parents of that 15-year-old who was killed after marching in the parade. that seems to work. a lot of senators have taken it. meetid, i do not want to with these people because i knew it would be a difficult meeting, but i did. they made their point. some have gone well and some have been a little bit more emotional. host: some of them voted to proceed. can we expect to see any oral filibuster? any stalling on the senate floor? guest: that is what we were expecting on the floor this week. at least 14 senate republicans by ted cruz and marco rubio and mitch mcconnell. they have threatened to filibuster this.

so quickly 16 republicans came forward and said, i will not stand in the way. they dropped the plan. we saw last night they might have tried to force the hours of debate on preceding to the actual bill. they said, no, go ahead. it started on tuesday. depending on how the process goes, we suspect he will try to do something. again, the longer it harry reid allows the debate to go, the more permits to have an up or down vote. all we're trying to do is make sure there is thoughtful consideration of this and that second amendment rights are not infringed upon. if that happens, hats they will hold on. this is about process. long as there is, i'm all for
