the cost of a typical family's premium by up to $2500 a year. as it turns out, the so-called affordable care act is not so affordable for american families after all. quietly released the support from president obama's administration just last week revealed that 11 million workers will see their premiums go up because of obamacare. these are not just any workers that we are talking about. they are small business workers, some of the hardest working people in our country. the very engine of our economy. as a nation, we rise and fall with their success. not only is this another broken promise to 11 million people that will lose more of their hard-earned money. it is another slap in the face to our already hurting working middle class. the administration did not want you to see this report. it only exists because republicans demanded it in early

2011 in part of a spending cut agreement. the report was submitted nearly three years late. quietly last friday evening with no public announcement. remember when they promised that this was going to be the most transparent administration in history? the simple truth is that democrats in washington are willing to say and do whatever it takes to protect their health care law. because it empowers the government and not the american people. just this week, senate majority leader harry reid said that there are plenty of horror stories being told about health care but all of them are untrue. try telling that to my constituents who are struggling 30thke it to the 15th and of every month in this top economy. likeworking missourians jen who makes high-quality

diapers for consumers all over the work. her premiums were projected to double putting her family's business and livelihood in jeopardy. let me share with you which euro to me. she said, i believe in affordable care. we provide great health care insurance or staff. we pay for 70% of the premiums for staff members and their entire family. we operate on microscopic margins and have valued taking care of our employees. i simply don't know how we as small business owners are going to be able to shoulder the load with these changes. every day i hear from hard-working missourians who are troubling under the weight of this health care law. her story, and countless others are true. mr. president, you all are 11 million workers annexed the nation.

fcc. congressman, if we could start with a couple the issues in the last week or so. i want to get your thoughts on the comcast and time warner cable merger and whether or not congress will end up playing a role in that. >> we haven't had a chance to study it that much. i think we will have a hearing on it. on the surface of it, i would think that congress would be generally receptive. we will look into local issues where there is a market dominance disproportionate shared concentration. i think overall we would tend to be receptive. >> tom wheeler's comments regarding the net neutrality ruling. fcc chair wheeler said he would leave title ii on the table. >> the fcc under president obama just does not get it. the courts have struck the net neutrality attempt down twice. this latest proposal will be struck down again in court or by the congress.
