heard that before many times and what made me vote this year was the last election. hearing her talk about abortion the way she did, it was just inhumane and just terrifying. also, immigration and the refugee crisis i was terrified --what she might do and how just all the political language i am really tired of hearing. i want to hear a citizens because as citizens and that is what i heard and donald trump and i was appalled at his demeanor like most americans but i had to ask myself, what is there a gender? what is the motivation? he is already powerful i mean he is a billionaire! does he have to run?

new york city and of course as we know we learned later, hillary clinton called donald trump and conceited and then of course he spoke and that is what happened. the johnou should hear podesta speech once again. let's look at the numbers and results. let's begin with the electoral college. 260 six for donald trump. 218 for hillary clinton. donaldwhat is new -- trump is leading in all three of them. let's go to the new york senate. 33 senate races. 51.blicans held control thean still senate by a smaller margin, 51-45 at this point with two other of the independents.

the republicans lost a senate seat in illinois. tammy duckworth beat mark kirk. here is what the house looks like. a couple of the races have not yet been called. 200 36.191, 246 now representative john carney is the new governor of delaware, he won with 58% of the vote. mike pence is being replaced in indiana by his lieutenant governor who 151%. -- who won by 51%. vote to air grade

eric greitens. and governor steve bullock is a republican, 48-48 percent at this time so it is not been called. the governor of new hampshire, looks like another sununu. sununu is the new governor of new hampshire. north carolina is another governor's race it is not been called. the incumbent pat mccrory is just a little bit he find the democrat roy cooper said that is up in the air. new governor of north dakota. some the 7% of the vote, a republican. oregon governor kate brown reelected easily. and governor gary herbert, 66% of the vote in his reelection

i am considered a senior citizen. i have four children. they were affected by obamacare. unfortunately, i did not take the time to change my affiliation so even know i voted for trump that was not my affiliation and fortunately i do not think it a lot of people read obama's book we for he became president and if they had i do not think they would have ever voted for him. he was very strange. he was a socialist from the get-go. host: are you talking about "dreams from my father." color: i think so. host: kamala harris one, how did you vote?

called, to close. new hampshire, michigan, minnesota -- which is less than a point difference -- and arizona. a couple of points difference. but currently, here is of the popular vote stands. donald trump has 47.8% to hillary clinton's 47.4%. 58 million plus voted for donald trump. 57 million plus, nearly 58 million, voted for hillary clinton. for historical comparison purposes, 66 million people voted for barack obama in 2012 and 61 million voted for mitt romney. statesballot of several was a marijuana initiative, either recreational or medicinal. here are the results. beginning with arizona, this is the only one that failed.

52% to 48%, no on recreational marijuana. in california, it passed 56% to 44%. in maine, a very close vote, but by aboutlike yes won 5000 votes. massachusetts passed 54% to 46%. nevada recreational marijuana ballot initiative, 54% to 46%. florida had a medical marijuana initiative. 71% of the electorate said yes to that. in montana, it was 56% of the electorate. finally, north dakota, 64% said yes to a medical marijuana initiative. now, we are going to go back to taking your phone calls. phone numberse up. going since 8:00

p.m. this evening and "washington journal" begins in less than an hour. on the democrats line in upland, california. thank you for taking my call. i'm 74 years old, i'm a great-grandmother, i voted all my life. i have never seen such a sham as this. i'm disappointed, as you can tell. however, i believe that much of america are woefully ignorant as to the length political factions go to for their own benefit, not ours. trump is the perfect front man for the nra and the republican party. republicans spent no money on trump, so they have all this extra change, so they, i believe, along with the nra fought the electorate as they chose, and shame on them.

information. this is the case with a lot of pieces that will be done for this competition, but mental illness especially, it is a complicated issue, it is not black and white, it is so multifaceted that i had to research to get a base knowledge of what i wanted to talk about in this piece. obviously, it is so complicated that i can't talk about it all in 5-7 minutes. >> pharmaceuticals is a really broad topic. it was nice to have a focal point i wanted to focus on. and got clips from the internet, i researched the topic before i started shooting. this is my dad's pharmacy. talking to the pharmacists there , talking to my mom and her colleagues and coworkers, i did a lot of internet research. >> a lot of internet research to find more facts and data and statistics about employment of those with developmental disabilities to see really what was going on.
