eric greitens. and governor steve bullock is a republican, 48-48 percent at this time so it is not been called. the governor of new hampshire, looks like another sununu. sununu is the new governor of new hampshire. north carolina is another governor's race it is not been called. the incumbent pat mccrory is just a little bit he find the democrat roy cooper said that is up in the air. new governor of north dakota. some the 7% of the vote, a republican. oregon governor kate brown reelected easily. and governor gary herbert, 66% of the vote in his reelection

called, to close. new hampshire, michigan, minnesota -- which is less than a point difference -- and arizona. a couple of points difference. but currently, here is of the popular vote stands. donald trump has 47.8% to hillary clinton's 47.4%. 58 million plus voted for donald trump. 57 million plus, nearly 58 million, voted for hillary clinton. for historical comparison purposes, 66 million people voted for barack obama in 2012 and 61 million voted for mitt romney. statesballot of several was a marijuana initiative, either recreational or medicinal. here are the results. beginning with arizona, this is the only one that failed.

52% to 48%, no on recreational marijuana. in california, it passed 56% to 44%. in maine, a very close vote, but by aboutlike yes won 5000 votes. massachusetts passed 54% to 46%. nevada recreational marijuana ballot initiative, 54% to 46%. florida had a medical marijuana initiative. 71% of the electorate said yes to that. in montana, it was 56% of the electorate. finally, north dakota, 64% said yes to a medical marijuana initiative. now, we are going to go back to taking your phone calls. phone numberse up. going since 8:00

information. this is the case with a lot of pieces that will be done for this competition, but mental illness especially, it is a complicated issue, it is not black and white, it is so multifaceted that i had to research to get a base knowledge of what i wanted to talk about in this piece. obviously, it is so complicated that i can't talk about it all in 5-7 minutes. >> pharmaceuticals is a really broad topic. it was nice to have a focal point i wanted to focus on. and got clips from the internet, i researched the topic before i started shooting. this is my dad's pharmacy. talking to the pharmacists there , talking to my mom and her colleagues and coworkers, i did a lot of internet research. >> a lot of internet research to find more facts and data and statistics about employment of those with developmental disabilities to see really what was going on.

most of the information i got off the internet came from government founded websites. that is how i knew that most of the information that i was getting was legitimate. >> this year's theme? your message to washington dc. tell us, what is your most urgent issue for the president and congress to address in 2016. contest has $100,000 awarded in cash prizes. students can work alone or in a group of up to three to produce a 5-7 minute documentary on the issue. it must include c-span programming and explore opposing opinions. the $100,000 will be awarded and shared between 150 students and 50 teachers. the grand prize, $5,000, will go to the student or teen with the best overall entry. the deadline is january 20, 2017. help us spread the
