i read too many articles and sought things on television, the cards at some and have written, and so many adjectives about daddy and they are so wonderful. i wanted to read something and share about the little girl that was born many many years ago on a faraway country. don't think she ever heard of charlotte, north carolina. you know, appearances have talked her -- her parents have taught her to pray even at that early age. charlotte boy here in milking cows every morning and afternoon and he had no idea there was a little girl praying for him in china. mother wrote this little pollen.

prayed. when dad was home he led family devotions come he read the bible but he didn't just read it. he would stop and make a comment or ask a question. to lover taught me reading my bible every day. and my daddy taught me that i was able to think about what i was reading. myn my mother went to heaven daddy started asking me to read him the bible. andirst it was intimidating then it became such a joy. there were times when i would sit in front of my daddy and he would ask me to give him a full 60 minute message. once in a while he would interrupt me and ask a question, but he loved to hear. as he got weaker we went through 60 minutes but the pattern was

life. his life was very significant. when you die that was something very strategic from heaven's point of view. i know that before the foundations of the world 2018 with state that god chose to take my father home. i looked up what was significant about that day and i found out february 21, 2018 is when juice -- jews focus on the death of moses. he brought millions of people out of bondage from slavery and got them to the edge of the promised land and brought them to grab it. my father also is a great liberator. he brought millions of people out of bondage is -- and soon to get them to the edge of the

promised land and then he was called home. could it be that he brought , you know what the new testament name for joshua is, it's jesus. this is a shot across the bow from heaven. -- god is saying wake up church, wake up world, jesus is coming. jesus is coming. inn the gospel is preaching service as it is to churches, ministries, when the gospel is preaching the whole world says the will come. four thessalonians chapter the way my mama taught me.

years, my marriage ended in divorce. i was devastated. i floundered. i did a lot wrong. the rug was pulled out from under me. my family thought it would be a good idea for me to move away. near my olderive sister and her family. we dated. my children did not like him. they were almost grown. i knew what was best for my life. my mother called me from seattle. my father called me from tokyo. honey, white of to slow down? you -- do youy do not to? they had never been divorced.

and sinful, i married this man on new year's eve. within 24 hours, i knew i made a terrible mistake. after five weeks, i fled. i was afraid of him. what was i going to do? i wanted to talk to my mother and father. it was a tuesday drive. mind.ons swirled in my but was i going to say to daddy? what was i going to say to mother? what was i going to say to my children? i had been such a failure. what would they say to me? we told you not to do it. you have embarrassed us. let me tell you, you do not want to embarrass your father. you really do not want to embarrass billy graham. mountain. i rounded the last been in my father's driveway and my father was waiting for me. as i got out of the car, he wrapped his arms around me and said welcome home. there was no shame. there is no blame. there was no condemnation -- just unconditional love. my father was not god. he showed me what god was like that day. when we come to god with our sin, brokenness, failure, pain, says,ard -- and hurt, god welcome home. thank you. god bless you. in the middle east, we describe him like this. we say he is a faithful man. he is faithful for the word of god. he has never preached his own opinion or his ideas or philosophy, but he preached the word of god. as we say about him, he is a courageous man. he has never ran away from the word repentance. .e spoke exactly like our lord our lord said the time is fulfilled. "god is at hand. he said repent. we do notlk about -- say he is only a great evangelist, we say he is a great feature. he has used the best message of teaching.

he has taught by example. he has never used a computer or facebook or blackboard, but he spoke by example. be an example for the , and love,n context in faith, and purity. it is exactly what he taught us. he lived a holy life when he spoke about holiness. prayer spoke about the or of.com baldness, he was a humble -- or of humbleness, he was a humble man. one time, i was in amsterdam and mrs. graham said, have you made an appointment with dr. graham? no, i am a little man and he is a great man.

i was afraid to go and see him or make an appointment. she took me to the prayer room and opened the roof slowly. eyes saw a giant -- i saw a andt above god praying crime before he went to preach the gospel. one time, he said to me, do you want to be successful in your ministry? i said, of course. he said, people want to talk about themselves. they love it. they want to talk about themselves. do not talk about yourself. talk about jesus. lift him up. when we list him up -- lift him up -- we do not preach ourselves. we preach christ as the lord and , forlves as slaves for you

mother. franklin, ie said, have missed your mother more today than my life. she was sick in bed and lying on that on her side. he would sit nbeside her. they would just look at each other, i tie -- other, eye to eye, four hours. if i sat in the room, i felt uncomfortable, like i was intruding. [laughter] >> he loved her and she loved him. mother was a part of my father's life at every turn. when i think about my father, i can still hear his voice. a word of encouragement and sometimes, a word of caution.

[laughter] i can recall him laughing. he loved his grandchildren, great grandchildren -- all of his family. we would take walks together along the mountain trails above his home in montreat. the billy graham the world saw on television -- the billy graham the world saw in the big stadiums was the same billy graham we saw at home. there were not two milligrams -- tw billyo graham -- two billy grahams. his testimony of god's great love -- all of us children came to see the world and our father in heaven through my father's eyes.

vision icompelling have ingrained in my memory is my father standing behind this pulpit. stadiums around the country and around the world, his voice booming. -- booming, proclaiming the gospel of the lord, jesus christ. he said sunday, you will read billy graham is dead. .o not believe one word of it he said, i will be more alive than i am now. i would have just changed addresses that is all. i was home, i visited my father. he loved to walk when he could.

i would share him and fear are doing. he would ask questions. we will talk about the bible. he liked to talk about politics, sports -- the last few years, he became quiet. very little at all. i believe his mind was on heaven. am afraidaid i never to die because i know the joy of heaven waiting. if he could speak to you today, he would ask, will you be making this journey to heaven someday? my father's greatest longing has been granted. he is in the presence of god. there are a few things my father would want me to share with you. my father would want you to know he believed the bible to be infallible word of god. he did not understand it all, but he sure believe that all.

the bible was his sole authority. when he preached, he always to the bible to the pulpit with him. for most of his messages, he would hold the bible and his hands and would quote scripture after scripture. the sermons were filled with scripture. when he would quote the scripture, he would always say, the bible says -- why? because it was his authority. my father believed in heaven. he also believed in hell. you see, jesus preached on hell. hell is reserved for the wicked. for those who refuse to repent for their sins and acknowledge god's son, jesus christ, as their lord and savior. the bible said god does not want anyone to perish, but all should call to -- all should come to repentance.

this motivated my father to preach the gospel with urgency. he wanted to warn men and women of the consequences of their sins. one day, we will have to stand before god and give him an account of our lives. there was a judgment coming. the bible tells us man has been separated from god by sin. heartman soul and human -- the bible tells us with all sin, we have come short of god's standards is glory. the penalty of sin is death. butjust physical death, spiritual death for eternity. the best news ever declared was god so loved the world that he gave his own son, who so ever should believe in him, should

not perish, but have everlasting life. this verse was probably in every message might father ever preached -- my father ever preach because -- preached because -- one reads the paper are reads the news, we wonder what hope is there? 200,000 years ago, god broke the darkness of sin and sent his son from health -- from -- jesus came to seek and save for which was lost. for grace, you have been saved. it is the gift of god, not of works. jesus said the truth and the father.o man comes the million city are searching for the way.

all truth is found in him. he said i found the life. most people spend their wages improving and trying to have a more comfortable life. if we follow him and trust him and believe him to be true, he will give us -- not a better life, he does not promise that, he does not promise us a more comfortable life. he does promise us eternal life. jesus says no one comes to the father except him. the road with its political correctness would want you to believe there are many roads to god. it is not truth. how can jesus make these claims? waycould he say he is the in the truth and the life? jesus was god in the flesh. he is the only one in history to take our sins and pay the debt of sin. my father would want me to share this with you today.

god sent his son to take our sins. he took our sins to the cross. he died in our place. he shed his blood for each and every one of you. when he held on the cross, god poured out the sins of mankind on his son. the sins past, present, and future. he shed his blood for our sins. he paid for our sins. on the third day, god raised his son to life. jesus is not dead. he is a live in is here today. are you trusting him? and everyme into each heart that invites him. if we repent arsons -- repent our sins and the bible says we will be saved. are you saved? are you forgiven? are you trusting jesus as your savior?
