program, which relies on a complex system of tools that controls the amount of sugar distributed in the u.s. this is an amendment we have seen before in past farm bills, but with -- what is different now is it appears she might have enough support to get the amendment passed. conaway, on other hand, is amendment.the he calls it a poison pill that could sink the farmville because he doesn't want to see any changes to the sugar program, is facing large opposition because a good number of members are saying they will support the amendment. >> if the bill does pass the house this week, what are the prospects in the senate, and how has the white house and involved -- been involved? isthe farm bill, it essentially dead on arrival in the senate. president donald trump has also inserted himself into the debate. last week, he called the ag
