through congress, and they think this has the best chance. >> the resolution's main authors tweeted earlier this week about the week ahead, saying the house will vote wednesday or thursday on nonbinding resolutions on making the mueller up or public and available to congress. the latest democratic effort to put pressure on the attorney general, he remained noncommittal on releasing the full mueller report. how will this put pressure on the department and attorney general? >> this is one way the democrats hope they can do this. the investigative committees have sent a letter to attorney makeal barr urging him to it fully public as much as he can. the only reductions they feel are necessary our grand jury material to always remain secret, as well as any classified information or information that would reveal national security sources and

methods, many of which could be contained in the final mueller report. those three categories are the only reductions house democrats will accept. >> how is this resolution part of house democrats broader efforts to investigate the trump administration? because the justice department has a policy they cannot indict a sitting president, congress must get any evidence of potential miss doing or criminal conduct on part of the president so they can hold him accountable through their namelycesses, impeachment. jerry nadler and adam schiff have threatened to subpoena for the final mueller report if they do not get enough to their satisfaction. a feistyd become conflict between congress and the executive branch in the coming weeks or months when we ever get the mueller report. as house debate gets underway

on the mueller report and releasing it to the congress in public, what do you expect to hear from republicans? >> house republicans say they agree with the substance of the resolution, that everybody should know what mueller has done, and what his findings were. indicted and gone after, who he has subpoenaed and interviewed, things like that, that is basic information. this vote will put republicans on the spot with where they stand on this issue in the findings, the evidence of potential wrongdoing on the part of the president or anyone else ensnared in this investigation. it will be a tough vote for them even though it is nonbinding. what is the future if any in the senate? coyeader mcconnell has been whether he will bring something like this up in the senate. he says he supports the idea of the report becoming public, but he has deferred lead to attorney and hisbarr
